EV training
what exactly is ev and iv training
|
Exactly!
What the beepboopbops are EV and IVs? |
IVs are individual values.
EVs are effort values. |
oh really thanks i was confused
|
there is only EV training, IV is determined when it is born(i believe).
EV is as stated effort values, that said pokemon that you battle you will give certain effort points, the points earned are then put together into your pokemon stats, either give your points towards HP,ATK,DEF,S.ATK,S.DEF and SPD after gaining experince 4 effort points = 1 Stat point Example. you have earned 20 effort points for HP your pokemon has 100 HP, when it levels it will become 105 (Note, when you EV train the results wont be instant, it will be spread out with your leveling) heres a list starting with HP http://serebii.net/pokedex-dp/hp.shtmlmake sure u read its clearly you can get up to 510(about 127 stats points)effort points on a pokemon, and each section ( HP,ATK,DEF,S.ATK,S.DEF and SPD ) can get up to 255, but only needs 252(63 stat points), because it will be wasting 3 points that wont be converted into stats. IV is indivdual Value, which is given to a pokemon when its born can vary from 0-31(is shown after they level up, not instantly) stats points for each section ( HP,ATK,DEF,S.ATK,S.DEF and SPD ) its is basically random A good way to determine your pokemons highest IV can been found in its Characteristic( you can have more then one to have the highest, but this shows only one) Pokemon Characteristics Example of chart below Section: First/ Second/ 3rd/ 4th/ 5th HP: Loves to eat/ Often dozes off/ Often naps/ Scatters things often/ Likes to relax Attack: Proud of its power/ Likes to thrash about/ A little quick tempered/ Likes to fight/ Hot tempered Defense: Sturdy body/ Capable of taking hits/ Highly persistant/ good endurance/ Good perserverance SpAtk: Highly curious/ Mischievous/ Thoroughly cunning/ Often lost in though/ Very finicky SpDef: Strong wille/ Somewhat vain/ Strongly defiant/ Hates to lose/ Somewhat stubborn Spd: Likes to run/ Alert to sounds/ Impetuous and silly/ Somewhat of a clown/ Quick to flee From that order, it can determine your pokemons highest IV the first ones can either be 0,5,10,15,20,25,30 the ones next can either be 1,6,11,16,21,26,31(being the best choice to get the highest) 3rd inline can be 2,7,12,17,22,27, 4th inline can get 3,8,13,18,23,28 and last are 4,9,19,24,29 Also, when breeding IV from each parent(including ditto)overwrites one of the IVs in the egg, 1 more IV is picked from one the parents(being random) and so if you have perfect IV on both parents, its child will have 3 perfect IV aswell and the other 3 out of your control. hope that helps |
Yeah, um.
THAT'S FREAKING CONFUSING!!! |
... well then, i guess it is, but u still get they are right
|
that why the poke'king is here ev are effort ponits and the when u battle 1 the same thing over u get a certin number of evs u can have 252 on each stat and 4 left over on something elsee!!! the pok'king always helps
