Torandos!?

There has recently been within the past 24 hours the largest Toranado Outbreak recorded in New England.5 Tornadoes touched down in a 5 mile area in Washington County NY at 12 PM EST.Also there was over 75 tornados that touched down within the past 12 hours across Texas to New England.A long series of Isolated Severe Thunderstorms containing Strong Winds,Flooding Rains and tornados will be moving across the United States this evening.
I was recently informed that my County "Warren County" is under a Tornado Warning until 3 am est tomorrow.

So I will not be on meh compie for awhile.
Bbye!

AngelWolfie May 23rd, 2004 12:26 PM

What I mean to say is, it's just a white box that says something about apologising for an inconvenience...

Jess May 23rd, 2004 12:28 PM

You can’t link to the image I guess. o_o;

I live in Kansas, so there’s quite a few tornados here. A couple of hit and destroyed a mall close to my house, but I’ve never been really affected by one. When I was little, I kind of found it fun how we’d all go down to the basement and listen to the radio. ^^; Sometimes the power would go out too, I…liked it? >.>

Jess May 23rd, 2004 12:39 PM

LOL! Kairi you loved going to your basement? XD Kinda of odd.

AngelWolfie May 23rd, 2004 12:48 PM

Says the same when I click on the link..........

Wow o_O that's quite terrifying. The reminds me of a couple weeks ago when we were driving home from going to my grandma's for mother's day, we had passed some houses that had literally been knowcked down, and there were some trees that were knocked down as well. We didn't know for sure if a tornado was the cause of it, but it was either that, or just extremely high winds (which I doubt).

Anyways, remember to take all of the safety procautions that you learnt in life if the tornado does hit down, and I hope you live through it. :)

I live in South Jersey. I think the map said severe for my town.

ryan May 23rd, 2004 2:50 PM

wow, that's severe... i live in the bay area. we've only had one around here once. and it wrecked my grandma's neighbor's friend's house.

Chairman Kaga May 23rd, 2004 2:56 PM

I live a few counties away from Indiana (I'm in southwestern Ohio) and it says on the cable channels that there are tornado watches for the Indiana counties, which means there will probably be a watch for us later...there was an unconfirmed F-0 tornado that touched down 20 miles north of us last year, and there have been some near-tornadoes above us before, but we've been fortunate...we live just out of tornado alley's reach. Tornadoes terrify me...we don't have a basement so when we hear there's a warning we drive to the hospital at 100 MPH and go to the basement...scary stuff ;_;

Jess May 23rd, 2004 3:25 PM

LOL I just noticed my misspelling on the thread title. Anyways Im online now.The sky is get a little light but we are suppose to get more Severe storms later tonight and as of right now school is closed for tomorrow until further notice :P

I haven't gotten any bad weather yet. Actually, it's hot, and I hate hot weather!

Dizzy May 24th, 2004 1:02 PM

I hope we get a huge tornado that will blow my huge house into a tiny shack, maybe if I pray to the wind gods !

^^NICK^^ v.3.0 May 24th, 2004 1:04 PM

Why would you want that to happen?

~Rock it Till You Drop It, Hey!

Dizzy May 24th, 2004 1:05 PM

Well the west wing of my house is still pretty new.. but why wouldnt I want it to happen, everything else bad happens to me, why not a Tornado as the Grand Finale.

Jess May 24th, 2004 1:07 PM

There was a tornado last nite @ 11 PM EST in a place north of where I live called "Chestertown" o_O Also more Severe Storms coming again tonite.

My power was out for like all nite last nite..XD
