How could i get pokemon from gold on to it? or could i ?

I'd like to point out that you can see all 150 and get the National Pokédex without beating the game, as long as you trade for the Pokémon you won't be able to see yourself (specifically Dialga/Palkia, whichever you don't catch yourself). It is just standard that most people get the National Pokédex by seeing the Elite 4 and Champion's Pokémon, and seeing Dialga/Palkia from the Celestic elder.
Anyway, to transfer from a GBA game to a DS game, you need the National Pokédex. Once you get that, the Pal Park (at the end of Route 221) becomes available, which allows you to migrate 6 Pokémon daily from your GBA game into the DS game. This is a one-way trip, though, so be aware of that. And this only works with GBA games. The original Red, Blue, and Yellow versions, as well as Gold, Silver, and Crystal versions will not work. |
from Pokeradar! use repels and then the radar and you'll sometiems find tehm on dif. routes
i can help, i started over and im trying to get national pokedex before elite four. mind you my resources are limited but ill do what i can
Thanks bud. Do you have Msn or Aim ?
msn, ill add you now. do you have myspace im?
As stated earlier, you no longer have to catch them all, you only need to see them all.
You can't get the National Dex before the Elite Four. >> The Celestic Elder will only give you Palkia/Dialga's Pokedex info after you beat it, no?
No.You CAN get it before the Elite Four.If you have a friend with the version that is diffrent then yours, trade with them. And you can use the GTS.

First of all you need to see all 150 pokemon and beating the elite four.after that route 212 i think go down and there should be a place to swim at. keep going until you see land. go in there and you should see pref. oak talk to him and get the national dex and you can now use the pal park to get pokemon from gba versions
