action replay ds help

i'm using ar fer diamond (jp version)
and after i'm done selecting codes to turn on, when i press the go button, about 95% of the time, instead of the game loading, it stays a blank white screen
the hell's up with that?
to get it to work i have to fiddle around with other settings and turn other codes on and off

anyone know why this happens?

This place is for Computer/Technology Discussion not for your post. How 'bout you move it to the Emulation section since this is for computers&technology stuff, not cheat codes for ROM's. No offense. :D If you want help about things for games then move it to the Emulation section. ;D And yes if your playing it on your computer then still move it to the Emulation section cause your topic is for the Pokemon Diamond game you have ok? And once again...No offense. :D You could also move it to the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl section.

I think this should go in the D/P forum.

*Moved*

Hey Matt. You a mod now, huh? That's cool.

Anyway, yes, that happens on my Action Replay GBA oftenly. It says to me instead "The switch is in the left position; please switch it to the right position" even though most of the time it is in the right position. Its weird. You could always contact Datel, the creators of Action Replay, about this problem.

Thank God for Customer Support. ^_^

This happens when you have to many codes active or one of the codes is messed up. All you have to do is tun off codes or check for mistakes in the codes that you have on.

Hmmm... I wonder if I could do them without Gameshark codes

Roihu July 27th, 2007 1:33 PM

My AR got bricked and I can't even see the codes it stays white right after.

Lord Kokkei July 30th, 2007 12:01 PM

that's why you don' tuse action replay...
try restarting your game...

Roihu July 30th, 2007 12:49 PM

I meant the AR not working...the game works fine.

i figure it only screws up your data if you use codes that say you should only use one at a time with others
like the nature modifier and in-box shiny modifier
while using the nature modifier one time though my male flygon turned female and my female kingdra turned male o_o
but if u use it the right way no i don't think it does

the most i ever had on is 4, and most of the time it's only 2
and i don't think there are mistakes
when i try to use it, i check on the codes i want then fiddle around with the options area then press go
if it doesn't work, i try it again with the same exact codes and fiddle some more and press go again
i do this over and over until it works eventually
if there were mistakes the game would never load
