Help me build my best team possible

Hi guys. For the past week, i have been training my poke-brains out. Now i have more pokemon that i can use in my main team, lol.

Now, i'll provide a list of pokemon that i deem team worthy (no legendaries, i hate using them in my main team), and i'll leave it up to you to decide who should be in my team.

NOTE: I have a Pupitar which i want to evolve into a Tyranitar. That will DEFINATELY become a team member, without a doubt, i love him.

Ok, here we go.

Are they EV trained an do they have good natures? If not rebreed (assuming you have beaten the elite four). Here's a TTar set from 3rd Gen that may still work in 4th.

[email protected] suck with items
Adamant nature (i guess)
EVs:I'm bad with EV spreads too.
~Dragon Dance
~EQ
~Rock Slide (or stone edge?)
~taunt

That works well. A dragonite can be a special or physical sweeper. Here's the physical set (again, 3rd gen):

[email protected]'m bad with all this stuff I'll just give you the moves.
~Dragon Dance
~Aerial Ace
~EQ (tough TTar has it, maybe use HP physical)
~Thunder wave/Brick Break/Steel Wing

That's my recommendation.

Current Team?
Natures?

Those would help

Moveset's Please. otherwise, we can't rate.

Jimmyray July 26th, 2007 11:39 AM

Totally agree, I just picked some random decent pokemon in general.

Anti July 26th, 2007 2:33 PM

But it looks like they're not EV trained. That's a big problem if they're not.

Trainer Gabriel July 26th, 2007 5:48 PM

To tell you the truth, im pretty noob when it comes to the whole EV training thing. As i missed out on Ruby/Saphire/Emerald, lol.

Anyone care to explain?

Once my DS is recharged, i'll include movesets and natures.

Anti July 26th, 2007 5:59 PM

*Groans* EVs are...Oh goodie. Google it and find out as you are doomed without them. Also search IVs and hidden power while you're at it.

sims796 July 26th, 2007 6:07 PM

There is a guide for it on this site. EV Training For Those Who Don't Understand Effort Values. Check it out.

Trainer Gabriel July 26th, 2007 6:11 PM

Ahhh! Ok. I get it all now.

Holy moly, all ive been training my pokemon against are Graveller's, Onix's and Goldbats. My Defence and Speed would be through the roof, haha.

Guess its time to start fighting other pokemon to raise the EV's for the other stats.

Thanks.

I gotta go out, but i'll be back with the right stats/natures for the pokemon.

Take your time. Building a team isn't easy. Having it typed is one thing. But building it from starch is another.
