I need help catching mirage pokemon

I'm going crazy trying to catch them!!! Can anyone help me and give me some tips or something?

What do you mean by "mirage" pokemon? I've never heard of them...

xcjzerox July 28th, 2007 3:06 PM

migrating pokemon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! duh

linkinpark187 July 28th, 2007 3:10 PM

i think what she means are the 3 Lake Pokémon (if you remember from the first episode, Dawn sees mesprit, but its more of a "Mirage"). but all i have to give for help is to just keep trying...except for Mesprit, but there's another thread that you can go check out. i may end up putting a link to it here, but its veiwable on the Diamond/Pearl thread board. :D

Well if trying to catch other then Mespirt, buy lots of Ultra balls and Dusk balls, weaken them and keep catching them over and over.

Thanks! Can anybody tell me how they caught mesprit?

do what i did. catch yourself a Haunter from where you go after Giratina (one of the Lv.66 Haunter). take it to the Move Tutor and teach it Mean Look. Evolve it into Gengar, then hop on your Bike and use Max Repel until you finally encounter it. it may take some patience, but i caught it using my Gengar and...don't remember, but i believe i also taught it Hypnosis and Dream Eater. using Dream Eater once will bring it down enough to where all you have to do is keep putting it back to Sleep and tossing PokéBalls (in general) at it. happy "hunting". lol :D

just copied and pasted it from another thread, but thats what i did. :D

i would have to guess its like [email protected] and you just got to wait to find it and use the same tricks as you would them, like meanlook and other stuff like that.

*EDIT* bah! linkinpark187 beat me too it!!

linkinpark187 July 28th, 2007 4:08 PM

nope, unlike them, you can use the Berry Locater Pokétch to follow Mesprit and Cresellia. fun fun. lol

I thought it was the Marking Map app.

linkinpark187 July 29th, 2007 4:44 AM

i used the berry one. lol wait...never mind. yes, its the Marking Map. lol but either way. lol

Roihu July 29th, 2007 5:53 AM

I just use a masterball....
It makes things so much easier....

Craig² July 29th, 2007 10:28 AM

There's a Marking App which makes things easier.

I find myself tempted to kill Mespirit everytime she shows up. @[email protected]

CRESSELIA WHERE ARE YOU?!?

DON'T use your Masterball on Mespirit, though. D O N ' T.

I can't emphisis that enough!

Simple get a Pokemon like Wobofuett or Trapinch, or at least a Pokemon with mean look. Then STOCK UP on very many ultra, dusk and time balls and go hunting!

USE YOUR MASTER BALL ON CRESSELIA. I USED MINE ON A BIDOOF.
