Awwh, it's nice to know that you cared ^^ And nah, that grew tiresome for me, and conversation wasn't very fufilling in there. If I joined I wouldn't post anyway, since that's how distracted I get nowadays XD

Even so, Kanto was the original introduction into the Pokemon gameplay. FR/LG made things better for the region later on.

They would have probably came up with worse ideas for Pokemon if they had put more into G/S/C....

Oh yeah, but I meant in GSC it was boring - all there was were the stronger gyms, the power plant and ... that's as much as I recall XD

Oh yeah definitely - but people would have grown to like them anyway ^^

Oh.. well I never really paid attention to the Kanto part of the game :\ So I really can't say too much. xD

Hm, I suppose so. But say in comparison with D/P, there's quite a lot of Pokemon which people just despise in this new gen, simply due to the lack of imagination which will be a recurring problem for Game Freaks.

hehehe, there seriously isn't that much to say, considering I said it all really XD

Definitely, hence Johto's popularity - it was vastly different to RBGY (well, imo at least), that it drew the attention of many fans, both old and new. Plus it was in colour :P I suppose in DP people wanted the same thing - something different, and hence were disappointed by the amount of evolutions for Pokemon of previous gen's.

Then again, Mystery Dungeon was really different and that didn't work out to well either :P

Anywho, this Pokemon chat is best suited in other sections, so let's say we talk about something else.

Like Disney/Pixar movies? :D I just watched the ending of Monsters Inc. - it was such a good movie, I really liked the characters and animation ^^

Well yes... and that.
MD was weird, -gets killed by Nica-. It's gameplay was completely and utterly different to any Pokemon predecessors and just was weird IMO...

Yep, ;D most of the ones they came out with I enjoyed watching. Monsters Inc was one I watched ages ago when I was younger and that was pretty cool.

How about you?

doesn't matter August 24th, 2007 8:50 PM

eww, you didn't disable smilies D:

Oh, I've enjoyed like, all of them so far, though I don't believe I've watched anything recently *memory failz*

Toy Story was definitely great though, and number 2 to a lesser extent. Finding Nemo was nice too ^^

... I can't remember any others XD

Ayano Katagiri August 24th, 2007 8:53 PM

Ooops... um, yeah. My settings aren't on disabled smilies.

Hm, I can't really remember the last one I saw... it's been a long time now. I didn't go to see Cars or The Incredibles so I don't really know...

doesn't matter August 24th, 2007 9:02 PM

Can you set it to disable them automatically on every post? I always figured you had to do it manually on each post in the advanced posting mode o.o

Oh yeah, I saw the Incredibles, that was fun as well. The story itself was quite interesting cool XD. I saw some of Cars, but it didn't interest me quite as much.

Ayano Katagiri August 24th, 2007 9:08 PM

I don't think there's an overall disable option. At least not under "Edit Options" anyway.

I haven't really been seeing a whole lot of cartoon movies in the past year, only The Simpsons Movie, which was really funny.

doesn't matter August 24th, 2007 9:10 PM

Oh the Simpsons movie was great, definitely worth it. Many people say it was like a few episodes thrown together, but I don't think that's fair. Also, I liked how a lot of the focus was on Homer - he's the best character in there by far and half the reasons why the series is so funny XD

Cared? Who said anything about cared?! Yeah, that's the point, join and never post again, proving how much one procrastinates.

Yes i agree Homer is a great character he is just comical genius.
And everybody i am getting my first CD RECORDED on tuesday in london :)

Razer302 August 25th, 2007 1:19 AM

Homer is the funniest character. I haven't seen the film yet. I might watch it sometime next week.

Good luck with your CD. I would listen to some of the music if my computer speakers weren't broken.

Not a bad movie to see; the humor was great, but I didn't really like the plot. It was definately better than Rise of the Silver Surfer or Spider Man 3. I wanted my money back after seeing those two.

Razer302 August 25th, 2007 5:41 AM

I thought Spider Man 3 was really good. I wanted to watch Rise of the Silver Surfer but I never had any money so couldn't go. I am going to watch The Simpson's Movie sometime next week now.

doesn't matter August 25th, 2007 6:10 AM

Oh yeah, those movies weren't all that great. However, as a fan of both Spider Man and Dr Doom they were movies I had to see.

But Dr Doom was atrociously portrayed - there was like, only one part in the entire film in which I thought he stayed true to his character in the comics.

yup. i saw some of it too, i was bored most of hte movie. i dont like racing. its just a waste of gas and beer.

i also didnt see spiderman 3, tell me, is it worth seeing? i've watched spiderman 1 and 2

Lilliputian. August 25th, 2007 6:19 AM

I really enjoyed Spiderman 3.
But it's quite unintentionally funny in places too xD

doesn't matter August 25th, 2007 6:21 AM

I'm a fan of the series, so even if it had the most horrendous of reviews, I'd go see it. Besides, critics in general are usually wrong XD

But yeah, if you put aside some of the terribly lame parts, it is a pretty damn good movie. Venom was portrayed quite excellently, as was the Sandman to a lesser extent. Harry did good as well, though the ending wasn't something I really expected.

The other two movies were better, but it's still worth watching in my opinion. Heck, I want to watch it now.

Razer302 August 25th, 2007 6:23 AM

Spider Man 3 is worth watching in my opinion.
Never seen cars but The Incredibles is a great film. Has some of the best animation in it.

*googles* Never even heard of that movie. The site doesn't even seem to suggest it as a horror film.

What's in theaters right now anyway? My friends are planning to stay out all night into the morning sometime before school starts and a movie is undoubtedly on the to-do list.

DarkGreg August 25th, 2007 7:02 AM

Never heard of 'The Invasion.'

Might not be out here yet.

What's it like?

Invasion? Sounds like a good movie. Supposedly people are being replaced by robots or something? I dunno.
