I was just browsing through your art very nice pics I deff see inprovment from begining to end very nice ^_^
|
Me likes :) But you need to work a little on may's proportion, like her legs, which are a bit short. Love the palkia and dialga one, though! :D
|
Nice work.
I would make your lines stronger, and make your colouring/shading a little neater, but overall, lovely work! |

He's just so unnaturally happy... it's creepy. .___.

Jumping in on the visual arts side of PC...

I enjoy how you make the subject in the piece stand out by use of the normal black silhouette while still managing to make use of a vibrant array of colours as shown by your background. The point of convergence of the piece being at your subject’s a bit clichéd considering you gave it an almost symmetrical kind of feel to it, but you subvert it nicely by making the center of the “vortex/sky” in your background veer slightly to the right giving it a nice sense of movement. The stars in the background are a nice touch too so that the vortex doesn’t look to solitary and makes it feel like it’s part of the sky as opposed to being part of the ground, or a destination for the subject in the piece. Also, I rather like how the piece seems to give off a feeling if destiny, what with the image of the subject walking off into the distance being accentuated by the bright, primary colors you use that make the piece scream optimism. Hence, not making it look like he’s being exiled or something rather that he’s walking off into a bright future. I guess the only criticism I have for the piece is that, near the ground, I don’t quite like those bold white strokes. It feels like they’re just painted on to blur the horizon between the sky and the ground. A bit obtrusive to be honest, and I’m not sure it was necessary because it seems like a last minute thing. So yeah, abstract pieces get long crits on imagery and aesthetics because I like writing critiques. |
Well I am not much of an art critic but I figure reviews of any sort are always nice, so! Consider this a SSSh set of reviews of the more recent images!
...which I must confess were quite enjoyable to see - you certainly have art skills. ^^ Spoiler:

Also the eyes - I quite like how you do them, particularly here. Spoiler:

But that's being nitpicky - overall this picture wins. =p The tower is also quite well-detailed and fits in nicely, and the darkened, cloudy sky also seems nicely drawn too there - gives the picture a neat atmosphere. But the shading and use of shadow and detail on the Pegasus wins it for me, simply. =) Spoiler:

Have to agree with Mizan that I most certainly liked this too. =) The stars in the background are indeed a neat touch (like in that Arceus picture), and the colours are pretty nice to look at as well. I also do have to agree that a weak point in the picture for me are those white paint strokes, but the swirly star-like object at the top is...well, pretty. =) That's my favourite bit of it I suppose, what with the different colours within it and all - it does appear to be moving rather than just being a stationary object. And that concludes my rambly reviews - I hope they do the pictures some justice? =p Seriously neat work with them all, and I do believe I will be keeping my eye on this thread too. =p Keep it up with the art-making! |
Wild GROVYLE used EVIL GRIN! Oh no! MEWNANI fainted!
I like the art! It's amazing! ...And I'm sorry for deleting the above comment. I wanted to comment about the pictures on the first page... That was a bad idea... (Sorry if I'm breaking any rules, I wanted to say something about your more recent work after I saw some of it, but was embarrased about my comments on your earliest posted works... So I deleted my earlier post and wrote down this... I'm sorry...) |

Guys. Comments, please. XDD Spoiler:
|
Ana, I LOVE the drawing of Grovyle you made. :DDD
Also, that sketch of Meganium looks great! :) |
Ana, everything looks fantastic - very well done! I really like your Meganium and Registeel. :)
|
These are great! I feel you're really going to be great in the future your art is cool! It looks realistic! But there are some suggestions I do have, smooth out the lines a bit and the shading's a little rough. I like your shading, but just smooth it up a little just a little ;) , so another crit, I had to look through the pages to see the new art you have, I had to also skip some pages just to get to the end, you improved a lot since then ^ ^ but I'm sorry to ask it, there are so many pages, but can you add your new art and it's updates on the first post as well? I would love to see them all thank you! ^ ^
|
I like how you colored the characters in light washes it really makes the characters stay on model with the original pokemon material
|
I should probably update my first post, seeing everyone is focused over there. XD |
These are some nice images. I'd like to see some of these characters drawn from some slightly different angles.
|
May looks kinda odd, her eyes are too far apart and her structure is kinda weird,
maybe it's just me but I love how you colored it. The coloring looks amazing. I wished I could color like that. I also love the Pikachu one though Pikachu looks so cute. lol Edit: WOW, the new ones look freaking great! What program do you use to draw em on? Keep em comin'! |
those are pretty good.you have any color one?
