Somthin suspisious......
Hey guys i just remembered somthin. I think we all remember jasmine from gold, silver, and crytal. She was in D/P right? Do u think there is a possibility that the next pokemon game is gonna be a G/S/C remake?
Not this debate again...
It can be argued either way whether or not we'll get a remake. However, until Nintendo says otherwise, there's no way to be sure. |
There are a lot of links between D/P and G/S/C, but we can only speculate.
I hope so. I LOVED gold, silver and crystal.
yeah, and being on the DS, there's a lot that can be done with it, too. i really hope that Nintendo is going to do a remake of the G/S Series. i mean, why not? they did a remake of the R/B Series.
This would certainly be an awesome remake if they did it. The opportunity to do 2 whole regions again is just an awesome thought, I really hope they do it.
I don't think they will, 'cause that would make it too much easier to get Ho-oh and Lugia, but that's not saying i don't want a remake.
they can make them really hard to get like in crystal version. it took me FOREVER to catch ho-oh.I got lost several times looking for lugia.
As said before... that picture is fake, the copyrights are off and Nintendo hasn't officially announced anything.

Ho-oh is already easy to get due to Colesseum. And for Lugia, They could do him with reduced stats on the game. |
But why not? they made fireRed and leafgreen, remakes of red and green version. They made emerald,a better version of R/S. D/P was fantastic,so next should be G/S/C.Speaking of which, what do u think the cover pokemon would be if they did make a remake?
Yeah, and you can get Lugia easily from XD and don't forget about Naval Rock.
Man, I wish that picture was real... |
Well,not everybody attended those event.
But honestly, the only Pokemon you definitely can't get by this point are Lugia and Ho-oh if you didn't buy those gamecube games, I doubt Nintendo is going to allow more people access to the two, people love using Ubers and that would just make 2 more you see on just about every n00b's team. I'm not saying I hate Gold/Silver/Crystal, but I mean there isn't much point in bringing them out, but one problem I do see happening is that if they make a new Pal Park... you've already probably transfered all your Pokemon to Diamond/Pearl... I don't think they would make it so you can get all the Pokemon to make up for it though anyways.
Ohhhhh man, that's terrible if those pics are fake. Who could be cruel enough to toy with us like that?
But I happened to think of something that would be amazing if they did it in this game. What if they made a G/S/C remake, but made it so that you could go to Hoenn too? How sweet would it be to be able to do 3 regions? It would actually take me longer than a week to beat it that way, that's for sure. |
Yeah but the only way for most people to obtain the ability to Naval Rock is through cheating itself, instead of flying to New York or Japan wasting excess money just for a couple bits of game data, and what if people dont want to go thru all that trouble in Colessuem to get Ho-oh, the remake would actually help people get the ubers much easier, if they didn't cheat to get them.
Well since you can migrate pokemon from R/S/E to D/P, then i would assume the same thing for the possible remake, i dont think Hoenn is likely to be to travel in, since you can obtain the same pokemon, but i see your point wolfie1177, maybe instead of Hoenn, they could make a whole new region to go into, to extend the game, for need of a good lengthy game, thinking about it would be like 24 badges :P. |

Personally, I would love a remake of GSC; that was my favourite generation of the four. =] |

I wish they would make a complete remake of the pokemon world on the Gamecube/Wii. It would have all the GBA regions plus extra places to go and more missions/features. Of course, we all know that they aren't going to do that because pokemon is a huge profeit for nintendo. Buy one game then get the other to "catch them all". |
hehe a G/S remake would be cool but chances are they will just move onto somthing new,
Pokemon Topaz & Pokemon Quartz maybe? lol |
The G/S/C generation is arguably the best generation of the series... the introduction of the times (night/day/morning) was the best thing Nintendo did. And then they screwed it up with the next generation, of course. Also, the weekly events and all were an incredible innovation, plus coupled with being able to go back and relive the "new" Kanto was the best part of the game. The ONLY thing I disliked about it was the Champion, since I dislike Dragon Pokemon, and Lance in general.
So, I really hope they do remakes, but keep it nearly exactly like the originals. Because I do believe that Gold and Silver (beaten by Crystal, however) were the best Pokemon games we've seen so far. They're still better than Diamond and Pearl (blasphemy!). |
Oh dude, it's no blasphemy to say that the G/S series was better than D/P. If G/S had all the features that D/P has, and online capabilities and stuff, it would be the best series of them all. Not to mention it lets you catch Lugia and Ho-oh without going halfway across the country for an event.
They should add on to the Kanto storyline though. It seemed a little short to me. I did like the Jotoh region a lot though; lots of caves and oceans. :D
Not to mention all the cool TMs you could buy! Just walk into Goldenrod Dept. Store and walk out with Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, and Ice Punch. LOL. Not to mention the TM for curse! YES, the G/S remake (if they even follow through with it) seriously would be THE ground-breaking game of its year (to all Pokemon fans).
Yeah, I'm convinced that if they actually went through with this that it would be the top-seller of all video games for that year.
