Legendary lake pokémon
I've caught 2 of 3 but they aren't strong, they have really weak attacks. I still miss the blue one.(I don't remember there names) I wasted an hour on the yellow one and almost 2 hrs at this blue one but what's a fast trick? I reduce till 1 hp and I let him fall asleep with hypnosis and still I can't catch em. I use Ultraballs and timerballs. After 30 mins the timer ball rolls 3 times but then the pokémon breaks free and after 1 hr it only rolls once and I don't get this. I'm desperate with trying this crap. How did you catch em?
|
well, i'm not good at tactics, so go to the wire-less trading fourm and trade for three masterballs.
outside of that, try throwing a normal pokeball every once in a while, it has amazing results. and other then that, it's all luck. actually try dusk balls. |
No thanks, I like to catch em the regular way so no trading + I had 1 masterball and I already used it on mesprit.
|
okay, then do the last half of my other post.
|
i did the same thing you did, but instead, i bought a load of Ultra Balls and dusk balls, and i just keep throwing them without even looking at the screen, while doing other things, until before i realized, i caught it. ^-^

theres always a master ball plus you can gt many from us but for me i was peeing and i threw a pokeball at it and caught it try peeing xD

I caught Uxie since I finally figured out that Sneasel can use False Swipe.
I don't care about Mesprit as long as I have its data. Azelf... Azelf is the hardest one, ESPECIALLY the Uproar. If I had a Spiritomb with False Swipe I'd get somewhere..... or a Shedinja.... |
Perhaps try a quick ball right at the beginning.
Anyway, you might need a lot of luck and many tries to catch it. Dusk balls might be the most effective ones for catching (at night of course), timer balls take quite long to get more effective. Good luck! |
I caught it and I discovered that Paralyze is better then sleep for catching a legendary. I discovered this on the volcano pokémon.
EDIT: dusk balls rule, I caught Regigigas and heatran with dusk balls and both paralyzed. |

Oh, and for future reference, Dusk Balls are probably best for both Azelf and Uxie at all times because Dusk Balls also have the increased catching rate when used on a Pokémon in a cave, and since those two don't move around like Mesprit, that's a constant 4x catching rate. =D Obviously, with Mesprit, you would still want to wait until night to use Dusk Balls, though. |
A good False Swiper is essential for catching legendaries without Master Balls. You'll also want to sleep or paralyze it. Once it's paralyzed or asleep and at one HP, just keep chucking out whatever Poke Balls you're using.
