Mamoswine's SPEED is too high for Avalanche,

Swampert should know avalanche and Curse.

Trick Room is how it moves first. though that would be bad for Swampert's Avavalanche

Shiraishi August 9th, 2007 7:13 AM

Breloom with jask support makes this team go night night

Azonic August 9th, 2007 7:14 AM

daaaa... it is an Ice team.

~Mithos~ August 9th, 2007 7:18 AM

changes are in bold.

I don't know much about Abomasnow's so I can't really help you, only to tell you that the EV spread should be in defence and hp.

Weavile Lv.60
Nature: Adament Jolly
Item Held: Liechi Berry
Ability: Pressure
Moves:
Ice Punch
Brick Break
Night Slash
Swords Dance i'd switch this for pursuit, no need for swords dance.

Weavile's jolly nature will allow it to outrun other pokemon.

Swampert Lv.60
Nature: Naughty
Item Held: Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Moves:
Ice Beam
Brick Break
Earthquake
Muddy Water

nice choice for a wall, add a healing move if at all possible.

Mamoswine Lv.60
Nature: Adament
Item Held: Life Orb
Ability: Oblivious (until I find one with snow cloak)
Moves:
Avalanche
Ice Shard
Earthquake
Light Screen

he should be fine.

Froslass Lv.60
Nickname: Shino
Nature: Timid
Item Held: Focus Sash
Ability: Snow Cloak
Moves:
Hail I had one and ended up never using this move.
Ice Beam
Shadow Ball
Destiny Bond

Glaceon Lv.60
Nickname: Yuki
Nature: Modest
Item Held: Custap Berry
Ability: Snow Cloak
Moves:
Ice Beam
Shadow Ball
Mirror Coat
Water Pulse
*Want to figure out how to make it faster*

to make it go faster switch to timid nature, but EV train it the same way, the nature should take care of it.

very nice team, i'm not the best to rate teams, so my advice probably isn't that great, but I tried anyway =]

Azonic August 9th, 2007 7:21 AM

I'd give Weavile a Life Orb.

Towlie August 9th, 2007 7:52 AM

A few things you need:

1) EVs on your pokemon.

2) Heatran/Arcanine for taking Fire Attacks.

3) A Rock/Ground Resist.

Azonic August 9th, 2007 7:57 AM

Ya know its called an Ice team for a reason.

Mamoswine-scarfed can take down a lot of pokemon effectively.

Towlie August 9th, 2007 9:07 AM

Swampert is an Ice Type? Oh, I never knew that. Now I feel stupid.

Ice teams usually indicate a hail based team. If he wants it to actually win battles, he needs a Fire Absorber.

Not exactly. All I'd have to do is pull out Froslass and take it out.

Nightofshadow August 9th, 2007 9:08 AM

swampert is NOT an ice type. Who told you that nonsense

Swampert is a Water/Ground ^^; A fire absorber huh...That might work! Do you have any good ones in mind?

Towlie August 9th, 2007 9:12 AM

Sarcasm told me Swampert was an Ice Type. -.-

Arcanine/Heatran are good. Flash Fire helps them out too. Kinda like the same way Rain Dance Teams run Electivire to absorb electric attacks. Either one works.

I decided not to give it one because it would need to keep its health due to its low defense stats. What would you suggest for a replacement move for sword dance?

Froslass: I gave it that move as a just in case someone cuts off hail and Abomosnow is gone. What move would you suggest as a replacement?

Glaceon: I've trained a Glaceon with a timid nature before, but it didn't help it's speed that much...^^; I wanted it to have an uber high sp. atk and that's what i got. 213 i think! XD

That makes sense giving Swampert that moveset, but what should replace Mamoswine's Avalanche? Also, what pokemon that can learn Trick room would help this team? It would also kill my Weavlie too...^^;

Abomasnow Lv.60
Nature: Bold
Item Held: Light Clay
Ability: Snow Warning
Moves:
Blizzard = Ice Beam, 70% Acc. isnt too pretty..
Grass Knot
Leech Seed
Light Screen

Weavile Lv.60
Nature: Adament = Jolly, Weavile needs all the speed it can get for the nasty Dragons like Salamence and Garchomp.
Item Held: Liechi Berry = Focus Sash for Swords Dance
Ability: Pressure
Moves:
Ice Punch
Brick Break
Night Slash
Swords Dance

Swampert Lv.60
Nature: Naughty = Brave, for Avalanche
Item Held: Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Moves:
Ice Beam = Avalanche
Brick Break = Curse
Earthquake
Muddy Water

Mamoswine Lv.60
Nature: Adament
Item Held: Life Orb
Ability: Oblivious (until I find one with snow cloak)
Moves:
Avalanche = no no no! Mamoswines speed being 80 kinda makes Avalanche bad. Ice Fang is Better
Ice Shard
Earthquake
Light Screen = Why this? Your team already has Abomasnow for Light Screen, Get Stealth Rock/Stone Edge

Froslass Lv.60
Nickname: Shino
Nature: Timid
Item Held: Focus Sash
Ability: Snow Cloak
Moves:
Hail
Ice Beam
Shadow Ball
Destiny Bond

I dont know about Froslass..

Glaceon Lv.60
Nickname: Yuki
Nature: Modest
Item Held: Custap Berry
Ability: Snow Cloak
Moves:
Ice Beam
Shadow Ball
Mirror Coat
Water Pulse

An Infernape with Wall support does quite a lot to your team, might want something helpful for your Type Weakness.

Towlie August 9th, 2007 11:55 AM

Blizzard has 100% Accuracy in hail.

Why would I need a focus sash for sword dance? Also, I was thinking of adding in a Arcanine to absorb fire attacks. Which pokemon do you think I should get rid of?

Froslass, you already got a Speed Pokemon :)

(and yes, Focus Sash with Swords Dance is a "must", because Weavile has low defenses)

Waffle-San August 9th, 2007 2:07 PM

I know alot of people love her but in my opinion Frosslass is WAY overated, the ghost dual type and ability to learn Destiny Bond are the only things that make her decent. Of course if your looking for speed, Frosslass and Weavile are the fastest ice types.

I personnaly love Cloyster but if your looking for an Abomasnow replacement, you might want to consider Walrein/Lapras/Jinx.

Towlie August 9th, 2007 2:24 PM

No. Frosslass is needed on an Ice Team. Ice Pokemon = Weak against fighting. It absorbs the fighting moves.

If the opponent uses a fighting move, simply swap into Swampert :D

Jinx, Ice psychic. It'll still do damage but you can come back with a psychic.

Walrien and Lapras will help fire absorb
