Secrets to Cloning
Hi, Recently, i've been trying to learn how to successfully clone with the GTS glitch, and the standard method, as we all know, isn't always the best way, and usually the good cloners have secrets to there success, this is what this thread is for. I'd greatly appreciate if any good cloners would post there secrets here.

they mostly use ars.. heck i dunno lol. if i where to clone id use the ar.
|
I clone with GTS! Always Successful..
Just count 16 seconds instead of viewing the clock. You have to stay near your modem Sorry i wrote AR it was an error!!!1 Sorry I realy don't clone with AR if you want you can ask to rogersanchez he saw by web cam that i clone by GTS please trust me:( |
AR makes the world go around.
Anyway, I can't figure it out either. It seems sort of bogus to me... |
yeah, to all of you AR IS FOR CHEATERS! But thanx for the tip Darkrai. And Just so you know, the product of the clone when you use AR is considered a hack.

Ok. I'm releasing the Shiny Bulbasaur that you traded to me. |
ha ha, thats funny, no serious trainer around here is gonna want an AR cloned pokemon, sorry to tell you

Seriously, there is no difference between GTS and AR, All they do is copy the pokemon, an EXACT copy, there is nothing different about them. Btw, GTS cloning fails, it'll be fixed soon enough. |
well, no, actually, nintendo has said taht if you clone using out side the game techniques(i don't know exactly how they worded it) that it's just as if you were hacking the pokemon yourself, so yes, GTS may not be an official way to clone, hell, no cloning is an official way to clone, but it is legit
|
We aren't going to agree, are we? Cloning using AR is like cloning a sheep with a fancy, expensive cloning machine. And cloning on the GTS is like exploiting a glitch in life to get 2 of them. The outcome is the same, but one way is innocent. The other is the complicated machine.

Sorry i wrote AR it was an error!!!
Sorry I realy don't clone with AR if you want you can ask to rogersanchez he saw by web cam that i clone by GTS please trust me:( i fell very sorry i never meant to write AR I clone via GTS please trust me- |
I did it once on PK Red and Blue, but i have no clue how to do it on the newer ones

uh, bishop, you need to get the idea through your head that the product of the clone when you use an AR, IS A HACK!!! There's no one that can tell any moral person otherwise. It's a cheap device that unlocks all the crap you want out of games, when you SHOULD be working hard for it. The GTS glitch is different, it's an expolited glitch taht is used by trainers. It is legit because it originates from the game, not a stupid foreign device that craps your game up.
And it's okay Darkrai, i trust you. |
I guess we'll stop trading pokemon that we don't want to get rid of when worst comes to worst.
|
Whoa, whoa, whoa. You're calling clones made from AR hacks? What's hacked about them? It's an exact clone of the original. Nothing was modified or changed. Just duplicated. It's the same thing with the GTS glitch. If you call one method hacking, your calling both methods hacking. There's honestly nothing different between the two. No matter what you do, you get a exact clone of a Pokemon. I clone via AR, and if you have a problem with that, you shouldn't ask me to clone your Pokemon. =/
|
Doesn't cloning only work because the game has 2 saves? the regular and the back up? I mean there really isn't anything they can fix is there? Not like I have any need to clone, since if you ask me, there is no way you could possibly have 2 legit Pokemon that have the same IV's and everything.

Well you know what, no one here likes cheating cause it gives you too many advantages, so in other words, no disadvantages, plus it takes the fun out of any game, though a lot of people don't care, some still do, people would rather have something knowing its legit and real, not something you could just easier get from inserting codes, and adjusting game data. So cloning a legit pokemon legitly, makes it legit, duh, so for example if anybody wanted the legit Darkrai from the movie, someone can clone it, and there people can have the same pokemon thats been released to so many others under the same OT.
So even if the cheat duplicates the same pokemon, because the word "cheat" or "AR" has been known to be something forbidden or as an omen, its been drilled into peoples heads so many times, people think "oh no, then its not legit, if its cheated." Something that hasn't truly been worked hard for. Even though a glitch is rather similar, its more of tool thats still part of the game without any interference, thats help give advantages which anyone can do, with in an equivalence, which i don't really understand myself, but thats how the way things work. Its the sentimental values that matter. And knowing you, you chain for shinies, how would you feel if others cheated to get rare shinies, shinies you would try to get after a 100 chains, and after messing up 40 times to get it up there, rather just really working for it, like you do? |

Why do you think that made every NDS event pokemon have Classic Ribbons? To stop the cloning! (Not that it does, as they are just cloned with an AR or pokesav...) If it were legitimate to clone, they wouldn't have put limitations on pokemon with the classic ribbon. |

I'll sound like anoob for saying this but what is GTS?

@Typhlosion-Ex: GTS is Global Trade Station, its where you do anonymous trades with lots of other people. |
oh, sorry bishop, i was a little confused with the wording, lol
Typhlosion, GTS is global trade station I say cloning in general, is a cheap way to get other pokemon you want while maintaining what you had, which kind of defeats the perpose of trading, which is willingly giving up something close to you, for something else of equal value. But there is a difference of exploiting a glitch in the game, and cheating using an outside of the game hacking device. And Shift, i'm surprised at you, i had no idea that you AR cloned. Anyways, i'm not saying there's a huge difference, but i think its still legitament if you use a method that keeps you inside the game, and not have a hack pack attached to the game. Shuriken probably explained it better than i did, but you get the idea, right? I see all you AR cloners side of the argument, and it got me baffled for a few minutes, but the main reason it isn't exactly "Legitament" Is because it's outside the game, and GTS is inside, thats my main point. I honestly think that PC should say no clones what soever, so all this arguing about legit cloning can stop. But even if they did, it wouldn't stop, because there is no way to tell it apart from the original. The original should be the only one traded, no matter how exactly alike the clone is. Also, this thread WILL be closed, and with it, this argument. And this thread was for me getting hints on how to clone with a higher success rate, not a stupid argument. |
It's been said many times before, but I'll say it too. There's absolutely no difference how you clone the god damn Pokémon. It's still an exact copy of the Pokémon you cloned and neither way was intentionally made possible by Nintendo so technically neither of the ways is legit. The fact that the Pokémon was cloned with an AR doesn't make the Pokémon any less legit than one cloned with the GTS.

Well, theres one mod's oppinion, thanx smarties
PLEASE CLOSE THIS THREAD AT THE CREATORS REQUEST! |
