One thing for sure, give Scizor Baton Pass and Swords Dance.
Others will probably provide you with more accurate movesets.

Good luck!

The Real AAA August 12th, 2007 10:08 AM

Charizard
Nature: Modest
  • Heat Wave/Flamethrower
  • Dragon Pulse
  • Air Slash/Sunny Day
  • Roost/Solarbeam
A Solarbeam and Sunny Day Charizard worked great for me the last time I used him.You could also trie Air Slash and Roost(to gain HP)

Feraligatr
Nature: Adamant/Careful(maybe)
  • Aqua Tail/Waterfall
  • Dragon Dance/Brick Break
  • Earthquake
  • Ice Punch

Scizor
Nature: Jolly
  • X-Scissor
  • Iron Head/Night Slash
  • Swords Dance
  • Baton Pass/Brick Break/Night Slash
If your Scizor doesn't knows Baton Pass you could use the optional moves

Milotic
Nature: Calm/Modest
  • Surf
  • Ice Beam
  • Rest
  • Sleep Talk

Torterra
Nature: Adamant/Impish(maybe)
  • Wood Hammer/Seed Bomb
  • Earthquake
  • Crunch/Light Screen(maybe, it could go well if a Fire Attack or an Ice Beam hits)
  • Stone Edge
I'm not really good on Torterras but if I had one then I probably use those moves.

I'm also not really good on Rhyperiors at all so I have no suggestions

BrainDamage August 12th, 2007 12:30 PM

i tend to like to use natures that increase a stat that the base stat is already high on, then ev it in the other area its good at, and another area that it NEEDS. (ex. scizor needs more speed, rhyperior needs sp. def. desperately) just to even it out and therefore it benefits in 3 stats

EDIT: still looking for more opinions

I gave you some good suggestion natures, if you get Scizor to be Jolly his speed will raise

BrainDamage August 12th, 2007 12:45 PM

not possible for scizor is also shiny. lol. cant resist the shinies. do you have any suggestions for umbreon?

The Real AAA August 12th, 2007 1:03 PM

Umbreon doesn't has any good moves I will suggested to get a Espeon instead.

p.s. can't you just feed Scizor poffins?

BrainDamage August 12th, 2007 1:05 PM

yeah- im contemplating a serious exchange with umbreon: he may be my 2nd fav. dark, but, competitive battling wise, hes no good cept for meanlook-pass

The Real AAA August 12th, 2007 1:39 PM

Don't double post you could get in trouble for doing that

anyways you could try feeding some Mago Berries

BrainDamage August 12th, 2007 1:47 PM

i know all about the double posting rule. how would mago berries help?

The Real AAA August 12th, 2007 2:16 PM

They could change your Scizor's nature to Hasty, Naive, or Jolly.
So you might want to trie it a few times

BrainDamage August 12th, 2007 2:19 PM

thats completely new to me. ill try it. i thought poffins only affected contest crap. or do you mean the berry itself? do you know any websites with that literature in it?

The Real AAA August 12th, 2007 2:21 PM

oh yeah my bad, I mean berries

BrainDamage August 12th, 2007 2:25 PM

website............................?

The Real AAA August 12th, 2007 2:36 PM

Website? I got no website search it up or something

BrainDamage August 12th, 2007 2:41 PM

where/whod you hear this from. ive found nothing from google

The Real AAA August 12th, 2007 2:46 PM

you didn't find nothing I just tried it right now by typing "pokemon natures" and I found a good site and it was the first 1 here's the link:

What are you talking about, Umbreon's amazing, if you know how to use him, just got a break away from standards and be creative. But if you want another Sp. Wall and you want to stick to Eevee line, then Vaporeon is the poor mans Milotic (of course you have one of those already.)

Plus battling is about having fun too, NEVER be afraid to sue your favourites. Unless its like Magikarp, then you may be a little stuck.

BrainDamage August 12th, 2007 2:56 PM

lol. magikarp: USE HYPER BEAM! wtf do you mean you dont have hyper beam? just use splash attack. id say my umbreon needs baton pass, just to be safe from machamps and heracrosses, etc

Waffle-San August 12th, 2007 3:10 PM

yes, but Baton Passes main purpose is to transfer things, in Umbreons case the effect of Wish. Plus Baton Pass doesn't have a speed priority.

Berries don't change the nature. The only way to get a new nature is to capture another Pokemon or breed the Pokemon.

Here is the Baton Passing Umbreon you want Naos:

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Synchronize / Bold Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 252 DEF / 6 Sp. DEF
- Mean Look
- Wish
- Baton Pass
- Toxic

Feuerbach August 12th, 2007 3:13 PM

I am currently working on an Umbreon myself. Would be perfect if it could learn Reflect!
Currently sticking to this:

Umbreon @ Leftovers / Flame Orb (to make use of Synchronize)
Ability: Synchronize
Bold Nature
- Mean Look
- Baton Pass
- Wish
- Toxic / Yawn

Hope it helps.
EDIT: The guy above beat me :(

Waffle-San August 12th, 2007 3:21 PM

I like just from deciding now.

Wish
Baton Pass
Assurance/Pusuit/Iron Tail/Confuse Ray
Confuse Ray/Mean Look

BrainDamage August 12th, 2007 5:52 PM

yeah- im gettin rid of umbreon, i've decided. why still havent people posted much on other pokes...
