This seems unnecessary.

"They proposed or enacted bills that would make it illegal to covertly videotape livestock farms, or apply for a job at one without disclosing ties to animal rights groups. If the problem is covertly videotaping livestock farms, then wouldn't trespass already be an adequate charge?

And then the rest of that quote is just laughable
