Spinoff/Mobile Your first impressions

I found one of the most bizarre features to be the absence of an energy meter. Playing as much as you want is great, buuuuut... it'll come into play later.
Another thing that struck me as odd is no guranteed 4-star in the regular 10x roll. I might be wrong on this, but 10x roll is just so you don't have to press the button 10 times.
That being said, I compared the amount of free gems you get, their in-game purchase price and the gacha prices to Fate/Grand Order. They are almost identical, where 100 gems is a value of 1 saint quartz from F/GO. F/GO's in-game prices are insignificantly higher though.
Not going to compare the 2 in terms of combat because they're incomparably different. Masters' real time combat keeps you engaged the whole time. Being predictable also means you can experiment with the rotation in order to maximize what your team can which can be a lot of fun.
Co-op battles are my favorite feature of the game: working together with a friend to defeat a powerful opponent.
There's one thing I'm not fond of - you mostly use 1 Pokemon in your team to attack while the other 2 are here either for buffs or soaking up damage, they get very little action besides buffing.
Both F/GO and Masters are beatable without spending a single penny. Masters even more so because they made SURE you have something to counter the opponent with. Leveling your trainers isn't very difficult either and is, in fact, a very quick process. This means you can level everyone up should you find to do so... and that's not very good in MY OPINION.
You can make every one of your characters be the special one eventually. And then, because everyone is special, no one is special. This is also where the meter thing comes into play. In F/GO, your energy meter is the limit of how many materials you can gather. Not to mention the Grails for increasing maximum level caps (increasing stars in Masters) which are VERY limited (as opposed to the Masters where there's a theoretically infinite amount). Not to mention the ascension and skill leveling materials, some of which are very rare. This makes you focus on the ones you like the most and making them your special servants. To compare how quickly and with little effort you can level your trainer in Masters and servants in F/GO: Heracles was my first 4-star servant that I got on the day I started playing and I focused on him as I progressed through the story. He reached his level cap of 80 about a month and a half in. I got Korrina to her level cap in 3 days. I thought I'd be thrilled to have my favorite sync pair at max level, but it felt like a shallow victory. So, as much as I like the game, I fear for its longevity when you can literally do the hardest content within the first week of the game,
This sounds like I'm complaining a lot, but these are actually small things that bugged me that take a long time to explain why they bug me.
Pokemon Masters is overall shallower than F/GO, but hey, this was made with kids in mind. As I said, not amazing, but quite enjoyable.
