this is gonna be fun =D

Question will Anorith/Armaldo be counted as a bug type seeing as it is their secondary typing?
Yes, they do count. Primary and Secondary typing are both taken into consideration when allowing a Pokemon into a Monotype.

Much thanks on the clarification on that. Wasn't too sure on the secondary typing thing haha

And a meowth used only for cutting purposes.

Jazzed it up a bit and added more detail so that it's easier and less boring to read. I give credit to Crackin355 for the idea of showing stats, items, abilities, coloring, etc., and hope he/she doesn't mind that I copied it :P

I don't mind, I like it when people add more to their updates. Usually makes them more interesting to read.

Also, we're both bug monotype challengers. How are you liking the challenge?

Considering Bug-type is my favorite, I'm loving it. I wish others could watch the power of the insect at work~

EDIT: Okay, so my save got deleted because the emulator decided to be a buttock. So now I get to restart FireRed. Yaaay. Pisses me off...

If you're using Visual Boy Advanced, just set your Save Type to Automatic Flash 128k. That should allow in-game saving and for you to be able to start back in your room after E4 so you can do the post-E4 content. And it kinda prevents random save losses. And for the "Internal battery has run dry"error, just set your emulator to use real clock so you can still enjoy time-based events such as day/night evolutions.

I had already done all of that, but sadly it still threw out my save file for no reason :/

Edit: I know Kanto isn't needed for Steel run but, I feel like Steelix, Scizor and Magneton can work (even if it takes some hoops to be allowed to have them.)

It seems like whenever I get to Kanto in Gen II I just want to finish it up. I beat all the Gym Leaders a day ago and got their badges
20px-Boulder_Badge.png
20px-Cascade_Badge.png
20px-Thunder_Badge.png
20px-Rainbow_Badge.png
20px-Soul_Badge.png
20px-Marsh_Badge.png
20px-Volcano_Badge.png
20px-Earth_Badge.png
so all that's left now is some level grinding then it's off to Mt.Silver to face Red. I'll post a final update when I finish.
