With Matsuko right behind him, Ikiji nearly flew down the corridors. Per her instructions, he found the kitchen. He dashed in, and looked around. "Which one's the leader?!"

Matsuko looked around, confused, and replied. Ikiji swore.

"Damn! Of all the times to take a stroll..."

With that, he darted out and continued down the hall, leaving everyone in the kitchen staring after him.

He hurried from room to room, but found no one else. He hurried to the front door, but saw a blizzard building outside.

"DAMN! For the love of...!"

Matsuko went to the window, and peered out. Ikiji paced hurriedly.

Where are you?! The enemy is on their way, and you're out for a stroll...in the middle of a blizzard, no less...

Matsuko turned and spoke to him beratingly. He stopped and yelled.

"We don't have TIME to just sit around and wait! The PXS is en route! Damn...!"

Matsuko responded angrily; she was sparking at him. He sat down, and held his head in his hands.

"You...you are right. Getting angry won't solve anything. I suppose I have no choice but to wait."

And all the while the enemy draws ever closer...

Piloswine sped by through the tight ally as fast as it could. It was a race against time and the snowy city.

"Isabel, I do understand, okay. I know you've had your times, but know that your not the only one. Just promise me one thing... that you'll never forget me, you got that" he replied to her while clutching on to the Piloswine.

The Piloswine made a sharp turn and the pokemon center lay directly ahead of them. Charlie still had one thing left to say to Isabel.

"Isabel after all that's happened, is still possible for us to remain friends... I would luhv... no like to still be friends, just friends. I'm really sorry. I know now that it's just not meant to be. This guy you like he must be some person" Charlie chirped like his usual self to Isabel with a smile.

Suddenly the snowing felt lighter as they approached the center on Piloswine's back.

"I know, Charlie. I've just... felt alone, even in the Uprising, ever since Da- he left," Isabel admitted.

"And yes, he is some person," Isabel continued with a faint smile. "He's just as screwed up as me."

They approached the Pokemon Center, noticing that the snow was lessening in intensity. Isabel returned Flareon and stepped inside. Inside, however, it was chaos.

(OOC: sorry it's so short... again)

Suddenly, Matsuko cried out. Ikiji looked over, and saw a figure approaching.

"About damn time!"

As it drew closer, Ikiji could make it out; a man and a woman atop a Piloswine; a Flareon tagged along nearby. The woman returned the Flareon to a pokeball, then opened the door.

Ikiji was in her face almost the moment the door open.

"Why the hell were you taking a walk in the...oh, nevermind! We- you- have a serious problem! I know you're with the Uprising, but you're all in danger! The PXS knows you're here, and they're on their way! You need to start preparing right away!"

Kensai's ears perked up when he heard about the enemies plan to come to where they were. "Well if thats the case then we need to prepare! We should set up an ambush!" He exclaimed with more energy than he had shown to anyone other then when he was training.

His hands were balled up tightly and his eyes burned with hatred as he spoke, although his hair covered one of them. "I would assume they know we are coming, we have one of theirs tied up, im sure they realized something was up when he never made contact with them. I suggest we prepare now and not give them a chance to make their move!"

"Agreed. Oh, by the way, my name is Ikiji Murasashi, and this," he indicates his Pikachu, Matsuko, "is my companion Matsuko. I, that is, we, would like to join the Uprising. Considering the circumstances, I don't think you'll refuse. I am skilled in infiltration, sabotage, assassination, espionage, and dirext combat. My companion is a potent Electric-specialist, and possesses a very unique power: she can use her own electricity to render the Electric attack of another useless. In addition, she is also skilled at stealth and sabotage, though not as skilled as myself. We place our considerable skill at the service of the Uprising. Oh, that reminds me..."

He reaches into his jacket and removes a photograph of a young girl with long, red hair. "Do you recognize the woman in this photograph? She would be about five years older than she appears here, now..."

Kensai was a little surprised by this persons eagerness, he sighed as his Scyther walked up beside him. "Well that would definatly be useful, but sadly im not in charge of this organization so I cant make that call. This is my partner Scyther." He said as he motioned towards his companion.

"Scyther Scy!" The pokemon chirped as it was getting some attention. "Anyway, how did you come about this information anyways?" he asked.

He didn't trust anyone other then himself and his pokemon. If what this person was saying was true, it would prove very benificial, but he had shown nothing to back up his claims. For all Kensai knew this could be a spy trying to lead them into a trap.

"Of course, I understand; in fact, if you'd accepted me right away, I would've doubted your competency."

He produced the radio, and held it up.

"This is a long-range radio transmitter. I have it set to 'intercept' so it will automatically intercept and record unidentified transmissions. A short while ago, I picked up a signal from the PXS. The signal was distorted, but I managed to gather that the PXS were suspicious of Frosty Gorge as the HQ of the Uprising; however, one of their assassins had been captured in the area, and the PXS are now certain that Frosty Gorge is the Uprising HQ. Knowing that, they'll want to strike as quickly as possible; it's the most tactically sound option."

He placed the radio on a table.

"Feel free to examine the radio all you wish. The transmission should still be recorded; it was the last signal received, so push the green 'playback' button to replay it."

Matsuko walked over, and eyed the Scyther cautiously.

"My partner here is rather...eccentric. She has taken a personal interest in this matter, due to the fact that others of her kind are on the list of species being wiped out."

He shrugged.

"If you still doubt my credibility, then I and my companion will simply be forced to combat the PXS separately and alone. As that would be borderline suicide, I would prefer to avoid that if possible."

He walked over to the window, and looked out.

"Also...I hear the PXS may have my sister. I do not know for certain, but I have been looking for her for a very long time. If that is indeed the case..."

He turned back around, his eyes blazing.

"I will recover her...and wipe the PXS off the face of this planet."

While Kensai was waiting for a reply he remembered he didnt want to become close to anyone here. Also He couldn't trust this person or any of these people here really, except maybe kat, but that was still to be decided.

"Listen, i need to go prepare just in case. I will be back after a while, fill me in on what the plan is when i return."

He took his scyther and left the pokemon center and began heading north. The weather made movement difficult. Darn it! how am i supposed to be able t catch a new pokemon with this kind of weather?!? He thought to himself as he made his way through the heavy snow. He looked over towards his scyther and saw it wasn't handling the weather very well. He pulled out its pokeball and returned it for safety from the weather. After a few minutes of walking with almost no visibility at all, Kensai noticed something in the distance. The closer he got the more visible it became until he realized it was a cave in the side of the small mountain running the same way he was walking. In this weather he wouldn't get anywhere so he decided to take a break and try and warm up some in the cave. It took him a while to reach the cave due to the heavy winds and thick snow, but after a while he finally reached his destination. The cave was deep, getting darker the farther it was from the entrance. It looked like like this was the only entrance. It wasn't warm inside the cave, but compared to outside it was a welcome feeling for Kensai. He eventually found a round rock to sit on and rest. If the weather was clear you would almost be able to see the pokemon center from here, but with this weather it would be impossible.

As kensai was sitting there, Scythers pokeball fell from its spot on his belt and rolled deeper into the cave. Kensai sighed as he got up to retrieve the ball. As he approached the ball he noticed something moving. It was too dark to see but it didnt look very big. Kensai waited until he couldn't see anything moving anymore then continued towards the ball. As he reached down to grab it, something shot out of the ground and sunk its sharp teeth into his arm. He jumped back flailing his arm while letting out an loud scream of pain. He still couldn't tell what it was because of the darkness but he knew he had to get rid of it. He tried slamming it against a wall but as he did it just bit down harder. It felt like it could cut his arm in half if it held on much longer. He quickly ran over and grabbed the pokeball and released his scyther.

Scyther couldn't tell what was going on at first as its eyes adjusted to the darkness. Kensai ran towards the entrance where there was more light coming from the outside. As he came closer to the entrance he discovered what was hanging from his arm. It was a black trapinch. Scyther shot forward swinging its left blade towards the wild pokemon causing a decent amount of damage and causing it to let go. Kensai's arm was covered in blood, but they weren't out of danger yet. The trapinch turned its attention towards Scyther. It inched its way towards Scyther with its mouth open as it did so. Suddenly it slammed its mouth shut and a rumbling sound came from beneath scyther. Without warning the ground around Scyther turned to quick sand and it began sinking. If didn't escape soon it would suffocate underground. It began flapping its wings wildly but wasn't able to free itself. it was almost as if the quicksand was holding on to it. Kensai panicked and without thinking ran over and kicked the Trapinch against one of the caves wall.

The sand loosened its grip just enough for scyther to get free. It floated over the sand, now enraged at the wild pokemon. The trapinch had a little trouble getting to its feet after such a hard blow from the cave wall. "Scyther! Quick Attack!" Scyther shot forward slamming into the Trapinch again knocking it against the wall. It was having a very hard time standing up but it didn't look like it was going to stop attacking. Suddenly Kensai had an Idea. He reached inside his backpack, searching frantically, until he found what he was looking for. He pulled out a pokeball and threw it at the Trapinch. As the ball hit, the pokemon was pulled in and the ball began shaking violently for almost a minute. After a long suspenseful wait, the ball stopped moving.

For a moment Kensai forgot about the pain in his arm and ran over and grabbed the pokeball. I did it! I caught a Pokemon! As he was thinking this, the loss of blood must have gotten to him and he fell over unconscious. It took Him almost ten minutes to regain his consciousness. He was weak, he had to get back to the pokemon center as fast as possible. He pulled out a spare shirt he had in his backpack and tied it around his arm to try and stop the bleeding. He put the pokeball away and began the seemingly unending walk back to the pokemon center. He was moving slowly, and as time went on he slowed even more. Suddenly he felt something on his back. Scyther was flying behind him, with its feet under his arms to help him move. After a few minute she finally made it to the pokemon center. He passed out from loss of blood right before the doors. Blood flowing from underneath the makeshift bandage.

(OOC: lol that was a long post sry bout that. Heh it looked like you had signed off and i was bored so i decided to add to my team >_< haha Yay shiney trapinch)

(ooc: I know this is single-chara dialogue, but just copy my dialogue and add your replys in your next post. I don't feel comfortable speaking for another person's chara yet...)

The man with the Scyther left, and Ikiji turned instead to the woman.

"I take it you're the leader, then?"

He removed the radio, and handed it to her.

"Call this...a peace offering. It's set to intercept any further PXS communications; I daresay you'll find it quite useful during the battle. I have an older, out-of-date model, but it will suffice."

He turned to Matsuko, and knelt by her.

"Matsuko. I'm leaving you in the care of the Uprising for the time being. Follow this woman's orders."

Matsuko gave a loud protest, but Ikiji hushed her.

"Just do it, alright? Follow her orders, fight well, and most important, stay alive."

Matsuko looked away, but Ikiji knew she'd obey. She turned back suddenly and said something.

"Me? I'm going to do a little advance scouting; knowing the enemy is the first key to victory."

He stood, and turned back towards the woman. "I leave Matsuko in your hands. However, treat her like a soldier, not a pet; she despises that."

He seemed to consider it.

"On second thought, feel free to treat her like a pet."

He knelt to Matsuko again.

"FArewell for now; I shall try to return before the battle. I'm going to go scout out the PXS...and maybe raise a little hell while I'm at it.

He lowered his voice, making sure only Matsuko could hear.

"Listen. If...if the battle seems lost, flee. Don't try to stand and sway a lost cause. You and I still have another task, one that supercedes all else, and it would be rendered meaningless if you die here. Understand?"

She nodded slightly.

He stood, and pulled the hood of his gray cloak over his head. He walked to the door.

"The way I see it, you have three crucial advantages: one, you know the PXS is coming; two, you're fighting on your home territory, andknow it better than them; and three, I doubt the PXS is used to this kind of weather. Now then, I'm off; if you need to contact me, or vice versa, use the large red button on the side of the radio. It'll automatically connect to my frequency without disrupting interception of the PXS signal."

He opened the door, and paused.

"Don't go dying before I get back. It would be quite an inconvenience if the Uprising were wiped out."

(OOC: lol im a little confused as to what im supposed to do with that but ill work with it)

Kensai was lying outside the doors of the pokemon center unconscious, blood covering the snow around him.

The door to the center opened and the spy specialist was standing there. Scyther ran up to him frantically and began trying to talk to him. "Scyther Scy! Scyyyyyyyyyyyyyyttttttthhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeerrrrrr!" it cried out pointing at its unconscious trainer.

Tabby was wandering around Frosty Gorge aimlessly. She really loved this place. She and Kyndle could live freely, without having to hide or sleep in a shelter or eat berries. They could have a nice, semi-normal existence here.

Kyndle's ears pricked, and she looked towards the pokemon cemter. Kensai was there, but he looked like he was passed out or something. His scyther was standing next to him, looking agitated. She ran towards him.

"Kensai! What the heck happened to you? Should I get a doctor or something?" As she got closer, she saw that one arm was soaked with blood and a pokeball lay next to him. "Kensai! Kensai, wake up!" she shouted. She didn't really have any medical training, though, so the best she could do was drag him inside the pokemon center and dump some water over his head. If only she had a pokemon with healing moves!

"Kensai, wake UP already!" she moaned. "If you die, I'm never speaking to you again. Come on! Remember your dad! You still have to help him and his houndoom! Wake up!"

Suddenly, the Scyther came rushing in, and cried at Ikiji frantically. He turned to Matsuko. "Care to translate?"

She told him in an alarmed voice. Ikiji grimaced. "What? Where?" The Scyther dashed outside, when the man lay unconscious; he'd lost a lot of blood. Ikiji swore.

"Damn...how did this happen?!"

He bent over and examined the wound. It wasn't too severe; but he'd lost a lot of blood. He turned around. "I think I can help...but I'm going to need some medical supplies. Can someone find me a first aid kit?!"

Scyther shot into the pokemon center frantically looking for a medical kit. Luckely it being a pokemon center, it wasnt hard to find one. Scyther grabbed the handle of the kit in its mouth and rushed it outside and set it next to Kensai.

Some stranger had just asked for a first aid kit. At least someone around here had a basic medical training. Then Tabby realized how pathetic that was. Honestly! When was the last time she had wondered if someone in a pokemon center had a basic medical training? Oh yeah. She hadn't HAD to worry about that until now.

"Is he going to be okay?" she asked the stranger. Scyther had returned with a first-aid kit to her relief. The man had a pikachu with him, but they didn't look all that friendly. She tried to think of what she could do to help.

"Kyndle, lie down next to Kensai," she instructed. Hopefully her vulpix would warm him up a little; they had very high body tempertures and made great lap warmers.

The Scyther rushed off in search of a medical kit. Ikiji looked back at the injured man.

How did this happen? Did that spy get loose? Or...are there more of them here?

THe Scyther returned, and set a kit next to the man. Ikiji took it, opened it, and began sifting through it. "Right. This will do."

Personally, it doesn't matter to me whether this man lives or dies. However, the Uprising is going to need every fighter it can get to win out...and even then, I'm not sure it'll be enough. Besides, saving his life will all but assure my acceptance into the Uprising.

He hesitated a moment.

Saiya...if the PXS have you...I'm coming...just wait...a little longer

He took several tools out of the case, and set to work.
------------------
A few minutes later, it was done. It wasn't the cleanest job he'd ever done, but the injury would at least be stable...for now.

A life of wandering and survival didn't exactly merit medical wisdom, but he had a good deal of experience treating the many injuries Matsuko and himself had suffered. He stood slowly.

"That's the best I can do. I'm no doctor, but I've seen enough scraps to know what to do. He'll live, and there shouldn't be any permanent damage."

"Considering this turn of events, I don't think it'd be wise for me to leave yet. We should wait until he recovers, then find out what injured him. All we can do now is wait."

Oh goody...more waiting...

Everything was blurry at first but finally he realized there were two people standing near him. "What...What happened?" he asked as a sharp pain shot through his arm.
