Gym Leader Challenge (Revival)

I have made the decision to revive this challenge made by seal. The rules are the same and, of course, I will be participating.

Rules
1. You may only use Pokemon in battle that your chosen Gym Leader uses.
2. You may use HM Slaves
3. You may trade to evolve Pokemon
4. You must use your Gym Leaders signature Pokemon, e.g. Brock must have an Onix, Misty must have a Starmie etc.
5. This challenge ends when you defeat the Elite Four
6. You must have your first Pokemon before the 2nd Gym, this is possible.
7. Try to post every couple of Gyms
8. I'll be participating in this challenge
9.You may trade to get the first forms of pokemon (or second forms if that pokemon is nidorino or nidorina) as long as that pokemon's level is under 15.
10. IF YOU HAVE A GAMEBOY, you may trade to gold or whatever to train since it may be faster. You may only do this if you have a gameboy, since emulators have the speed button.
11. Have fun

I'm ecstatic that my challenge was approved. Time for an update
*Continuing on from the challenge that I was working on in the original thread.
*Made my way through mt. moon, caught Paras in the process.
*I've evolved my weedle all the way up to Beedrill, but now that I realize I can't use it since I'm koga I don't know what im gonna do with it.
*On my way to fight Misty, and I so desperately want to do the Mew Glitch.

I'll do this on Blue(rom).

I shall play as Misty! :)

My team will probably be:

Like trading to gold version, training to learn moves, than trading back? Sure thats ok. I will specify that in the rules.

Also, here's a big update. I've evolved my nidoran into nidoking. I have 6 badges now. My team is coming together smoothly. I will be getting my signature pokemon since I'm here at Cinnabar Island.

Bleacher I added a rule stating that you may trade to train ONLY if you have a gameboy, since the emulators have the speed button and the gameboy doesnt. Make sure you read that rule clearly.

Just beat Giovanni. Off to the league now. My final team will be:

Hmm.. That will be a problem since my 10+ yr old GBC lies in pieces.

I wanted to trade for getting the elemental punches on Alakazam and sorts of that, no training purpose, just to get the moves. Thats against the rules?

For you I can gladly make an exception. Learning moves like that can really be tough in gen 1, when you can just buy them in gen 2.

UPDATE! I beat the Elite 4 a few hours ago! Yeah man! My first challenge ever completed!

UPDATE- Playing on blue, chose Squirtle as starter. Haven't caught any pokemon other than a Spearow. Plowed through Viridian Forest with Spearow's Peck, also defeated Gary on Route 22 with some difficulty. Had fun with Brock and Jr. Trainer. Currently resting in Pewter Pokemon Centre.

UPDATE: I finally remembered that the sucker Abra teleports away. Went back to Viridian Forest to catch a Caterpie. Training it took a lot of time. Still haven't gone up Mt. Moon.

Ha ha that's a strong spearow. Why don't you use butterfree to slam Brock? Confusion makes his battle breeze.

Squirtle already put Brock's pokemon in bubble bath. Oh yeah, Spearow's gonna be my Fly Slave, maybe Cut slave too :-P (does Speary learn cut?)

UPDATE: Sorry didn't get enough time for playing, I'll give it a try tomorrow.

I think spearow learns cut, via HM of course.

I'd post pictures, but I haven't made 15 posts.
Beat Gary (That's what I named him) with a traded Salamence from Ruby and my Dragonite (which was caught in the Safari Zone as Dratini). :D

I'm going with Giovanni in Pokemon Fire Red.

I have been debating on which one I'm going to use...But I decided that I am going to be Giovanni!
Also, i'm going to be using Pokemon leafgreen!
