I'm not that familiar with K. Rool, so I have to support Bowser. His goals? Take over a kingdom. K. Rool's goals? Depriving a bunch of monkeys of their bananas, apparently. There are other fruits out there, people. Next, Bowser has a regular victim. Princess Peach. He never hurts Peach, he's a very courteous Koopa when it comes to Peach. He has great taste. Peach is attractive. Donkey Kong is not, which makes me question K. Rool's taste in victims. Everyone knows the villain likes his victim, that's why he kidnaps her in the first place. Finally, Bowser has cooler underlings. I might not know K. Rool's subordinates, but I'm pretty sure that they don't beat snarky old turtles on brooms or turtle teenagers with hair in every color of the rainbow. There's just no beating Bowser.

I'll go with K. Rool

First of all he is getting no love, and even though I havn't gotten that far in donkey kong country to fight him ( since the only time I can play it is at my grandmas house) I had a lot of fun playing DKC.

Also, and really the deciding factor here, he has better minions, well just one actually. The most diabolical thing in the world. It pissed of 10 year old me so many times, and sometimes still pisses me off just cause they are so annoying.

that dang BEE!!!!!

I think only this video can express my hatred for them. (There is some swearing)

Ready for Round 3? (at last.. teehee) The contestants this time:

zelvspeach.png

Peach vs. Zelda. Two princesses from two different games.

Peach appears in the Super Mario games, where she is the Princess of Mushroom Kingdom; she's constantly kidnapped, except for that one time where she had to save Mario and Luigi. She can play sports, has a magical umbrella (that is super effective!) and can float for a period of time (which can be a small stable in the Smash bros. games!)

Zelda is from the Legend of Zelda games, and is a princess of Hyrule. She is the leader of the Sages, and wilds the Triforce of Wisdom. Along with her surprising swords skills, and her technique with arrows, she can also perform a wide variety of magic such as Din's Fire, Nayru's Love, and so on. She can also transform into Sheik, her alter ego.

So! Knowing this and other things you know from these two, do you prefer Peach.. or Zelda? Why?

Zelda gets a lot more character development than Peach, and her games are better.

Still, Peach was brilliant in Paper Mario but then Zelda was Shiek.

Peach makes cake, but the cake is a lie.

I'll back Zelda, just because she seems more worth saving.

Peach is...well, weak on her own :( While Zelda can kind of cover for herself with her abilities.

Also, Peach is almost always kidnapped, so she can't be left alone.

I'm going with Zelda.

Easy decision. Zelda. She actualy does something and actualy governs her country. (a bit poorly but stilll) Also she can actualy fight back. Allaround zelda is more worth keeping around and thus saving. Peach is just...ehh...Captured way too many times...

Zelda. Unquestionably. Peach gets kidnapped every other week, while Zelda is more than a damn damsel-in-distress.

While Peach is much prettier, and is absolutely adorable in paper form, where she has an actual assertive personality and is useful every now and then, it isn't enough. Sorry Peach, but it seems the Hylian Princess beats our beautiful fungus monarch.

This is kind of a hard situation since in-game Peach has always been a useful character ever since Super Mario Bros 2, but is absolutely useless when the plot is involved. Zelda on the other hand can turn into a ninja. But I think I will have to go with Peach on this one since she's cuter and bakes cakes.

Now for round four! Here are our combatants:

samus_star_fox.jpg

Yesss, it's Fox vs. Samus.

Fox McCloud appears in the Star Fox games, where he is the leader of the Star Fox Team. He battles vigilant foes like the enemies from Venom, with their boss, Andross, to Starfox Adventures where he battles General Scales and the reincarnation of Andross, to Star Fox Assault where he faces the Aparoids, back to Star Fox Command, where he and his team battles the Angler. He rides the Arwing, where it can do barrel rolls, Speed Up, Brake, and throw bombs, and the Landmaster, where it can do really ridiculous damage with charge shots, and it can even float up, and charge through enemies.

Samus Aran is a bounty hunter who hunts the antagonistic Space Pirates and their leader, Ridley, along with the parasitic energy-draining organisms called Metroids. Her suit can carry a cannon, which can be charged to shoot an extra-powerful blast, a limited number of missiles, and various beams. Samus's suit can also collapse into a sphere, a mode called the Morph Ball, allowing her to roll through tight areas such as tunnels. The suit can scan objects to learn more about them, and has a grapple beam used to cross large distances, such as chasms.

So, knowing all this and more.. which one of these two do you prefer, and why?

By the way! Don't be afraid to send me character vs character requests via PM or VM! I'd be happy to take up on those as well. <3

But I'll go with Samus Aran because she gave me troubles in Smash Bros.
Fox McCloud never put up much of a fight :P

Definitely Fox McCloud. He has amazing fighting skills, and he's a master when it comes to piloting vehicles like Arwing and Landmaster. This guy is an adventurer, and he is also the leader of the Star Fox crew. Star Fox were able to defeat many of their enemies under his leadership.

There's nothing wrong with Samus. She's been around much longer than Fox has, and she's a very popular character. However, in my opinion... she's just not as awesome as McCloud. xD

I really want to say Fox just because of my love for animals, but my vote goes to Samus Aran. Fox is definitely no easy foe, however. He's obviously an extremely skilled fighter and an expert at many other important skills that aid him in battle. His leadership and courage make him a formidable character that won the hearts of many in his game's audience. Due to Fox's abilities, his crew Star Fox were successful in obliterating countless enemies.

On the other hand, we have Samus, who impresses everyone in video gaming by being of the female gender. A huge twist that adds so much more to this fighting hunk of metal. The fact that under that gigantic, iron-clad brawling suit is a graceful girl makes Samus much more of an amazing heroine, and she already was before her gender was ever confirmed. Her signature attacks come from her suit, which allows her to manipulate and take down foes easily, as well as her Morph Ball form helping her get through narrow passage ways and the like.

As epic as both of these characters are, there can only be one that succeeds the other! :]

Definetly Samus. After all she is a strong female protagonist. Also she wore the power armor before it was cool. And yeah. Ive played so many Metroud games that she is my favourite nintendo character...or atleast in the top 3.

Then again... Other M kinda shot samus in the leg charactervise atleast... Lets...lets not get into that again.

Also didnt fox have a mediocreish adventure a few years ago? (Starfox Adventures)

Time for Round Five! Here are our combatants:

sam-fisher-vs-solid-snake.jpg

Sam Fisher vs Solid Snake!

Sam Fisher is the protagonist of the Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell series of video games. He is a master in the art of stealth, trained in various espionage techniques and infiltration tactics, and an expert in urban warfare tactics as well as extensive knowledge about various other skills such as combat tactics, surveillance, computer hacking, explosives and the use of nearly any conventional weapon ambidextrously and is extremely proficient in fieldcraft. He is a highly-trained expert in the Israeli martial art of Krav Maga and specializes in Night Ops.

Snake is the protagonist of the Solid Snake series of video games. Snake is a combination of spy, special operations soldier, and FOXHOUND who is tasked with disarming and destroying the bipedal nuclear weapon-armed mecha Metal Gear. He acts alone, supported via radio by commanding officers and specialists.

So, knowing all this and more.. which one of these two do you prefer, and why?

By the way! Don't be afraid to send me character vs character requests via PM or VM! I'd be happy to take up on those as well. <3[/QUOTE]

Easy choice. Solid Snake! Ive played the splinter cell games but I like snake still more. Other than his combat and sneaking abilities snake has a better supporting team. (imo)

Somehow when I opened this thread I was like... Stealth? Probably Sam Fisher.

Anyway I preferred Sam over Snake. He just seemed much more... good at his job.

Sam Fisher has done a lot of impressive things throughout his career, but I like Solid Snake more. He's saved the world on numerous occasions, took out Metal Gears with no trouble, and in many ways, he's a lot better than his clone brothers. He's an amazing hero, and he's one of the best characters to ever appear in a video game. He likes to hide in boxes too, by the way, which makes him even more awesome. n~n

I've never played any Metal Gear games but from what I can gather, Snake has survived a lot. Plus he can hide in boxes so I'm tempted to give it to him.

Then again Sam Fisher has some beautiful night vision goggles and he can put people's heads through toilets.

Might have to call this one a tie. :P
