~RULES~

Basic:
-InfinityWayvern and I (TrainerGiza) are the GMs.
-BE ACTIVE. Let us know ahead of time in the OOC thread that you will not be able to post.
-Follow the PC rules for role-playing.
- Don't be 'god' like. (Not having any difficulty with everything that you do.)
- Use proper grammar.
-Romance is allowed, nothing too graphic though.
-Swearing is allowed, but please censor strong
- Bunning is ONLY allowed if permission is given.
-Please post your sign-ups and OOC posts in the OOC thread.
-Also, put "wizards everywhere" anywhere in your SU to let us know that you read the rules.
-If you need clarifying on the rules, please ask in the OOC thread.

~Rules for Trainers~
Starters:
- Your starter MUST match up to your home region.
Rivals:
- When you are a rival to someone, it's only fair to have your Pokémon the same level as theirs, or at least around the same level. Do not exceed more than 3 levels ahead.
Battling:
- All battle types are allowed, if they were featured in the games. (ex. 2 on 2, 1 on 2..etc)
Money/items:
- Everyone has enough money to buy what they need to buy, and be wary of it making sense, for ex., depending how many badges/level of Pokémon decides how much you can buy. ( just like in the real games)
- Every trainer is allowed one Master Ball, only those who have received 8 gym badges (doesn't matter the region) can have one. If you are just starting out, you do not have one, but if you are starting later, and already have 8 badges you automatically have one.
Leveling:
- How your Pokémon level up depends on the quality of your post. The better you post, the higher your Pokémon levels up.
Evolution:
- If you want to evolve your Pokémon, ask in the OOC Thread or VM the GMs.
Pokémon Moves Concerning HMs:
- Your Pokémon can only learn up to 5 moves at a time. (changed from 4)
- These moves MUST be moves that the Pokémon species can learn.
- When role playing, your Pokémon do not have to know HMs in order to do them outside of battle. For example, your Pokémon can surf outside
of battle, without knowing surf.
- If you want your Pokémon to learn a new move, ask in the OOC Thread or VM the GMs.
Gym Leaders/Gyms:
- You either have the choice to role play the gym leader yourself, or post in the OOC thread for someone else to role play as them.
- Levels for gym leaders will differ depending on how many badges you have already. For example, when you start a new region after completing another, the levels of the gyms with continue going up like it would another region.
Contests:
- (refer to the anime and the games of how to figure out how this works)
Shiny Pokémon:
- You are allowed to have only one. You also have to have a reasonable description of how you got it in the history section of your SU.
Legendary Pokémon:
- You may look for them in game, but you can't have them already in your team, no matter the badges/etc.

Nickname: "That weirdo with the goggles"

Occupation: Trainer (Not so big on challanging gyms)

Hair: Short smooth black hair.

Eye Color: Blue

Skin Tone: Light

Height: 5'8

Clothing Style: Dane wears brown jean shorts and a light blue T-Shirt often to comedate for the bright weather around Dewford. He usually never wears any footwear when wandering dewford but he does have a pair of black sneakers incase he's out traveling in a cave or somewhere else.

Other: Dane is mostly known for the Goggles he always wears. His goggles have black specs on them that reflect light, making it impossible to see his eyes. He barely takes them off.

Personality: Dane is a very outgoing person and very adventerous. The fact that he hasn't been able to travel outside of dewford dosn't pair well with his personality. Dane is very good in the technical department and knows how to fix a variety of machines if he's offered the job. He created his goggles by himself and gives them several enhancements when he has the time. He tends to get obsessed with adding new features onto these goggles whenever he is at work on them making him isolated most of the time. He'll resort to the internet whenever he needs updates on the latest news.

Dane tends to be a real prankster often working with his Sableye to scare people whenever he gets the chance.
With his antics, He often ends up being called "That weirdo with the goggles" Very often by local residents. He dosn't mind being called a weirdo, in fact, he's glad to be such a distinct person in the community and being known for one of his own designs.


History: Dane has lived on Dewford his whole life and is pretty isolated from the rest of the world. His only chances of being off of dewford is when he would visit his uncle once every year up in Rustboro to broaden his horizons a bit. He has only explored the southern parts of Hoenn and hasn't been anywhere past that.

Around the young age of 10, Dane wandered off to explore Granite Cave by himself to catch a pokemon. He was packed with about 3 pokeballs and was aiming to find something unique. When he entered the cave, He felt something move by him. It was a sableye. He could tell with those bright gem like eyes he had. The Sableye had stolen Dane's Pokeballs and ran off.

Dane chased after the Sableye while the michivious pokemon did nothing but play games with the kid. But Dane didn't give up. He kept chasing and chasing for what seemed like a whole day. Eventually the Sableye gave up trying to lose track of the kid and gave back the pokeballs. Funny enough, The sableye followed Dane out of the cave as if it wanted to stay with him. Accepting the request, Dane caught the Sableye and named it Snype.

Around age 13, Dane started to get into working on technology, inspired by his uncle of course. Taking classes from his Uncle whenever he was up there. With his help, He was able to make a special unique pair of goggles ment only for him to use. They started as goggles that would protect Dane's eyes from UV rays from the sun, but later had more features added to it as time went on. Such as a scope, night vision, and they can even glow with a bright light in the dark making it ideal for pulling pranks on people.

At age 14, Dane wanted to catch a pokemon that wasn't seen around Dewford. Armed with his finished goggles, He decided to explore the eastern area of dewford to catch a pokemon. He was aiming for a Bug pokemon that would work well together with Snype. Searchiing the tall grass, Dane ran into a Nincada. It was cool looking enough to him something to brag about when he headed back home to dewford so he proceeded to catch it. It turned out being a female and as years passed, Eventually evolved into a very hyperactive Ninjask.

Around Age 17, Dane had trained several of his pokemon in Granite cave. Snype would often train together with Dane's newly nicknamed Ninjask, Able. Able would often tease snype into catch her which proved to be a very good excercise to enhance Snype's own agility and reactions. The two became great training partners but Snype still finds her an annoying little bug to this day.

During that time, Dane was given a Zangoose as a gift by one of his Uncle's firends.. A few TMs had been used on it by its original trainer so it's packed with a few powerful moves however, It loves to fight. The original trainer was not the person that was so into training so it was decided to give it to somebody who took more pride into training.

The Zangoose was named Sheen and it wasn't fond of listening to Dane, except when in battle. Sheen shares a brotherly friendship with Snype. The two are great friends together and when they're in a double battle, The two make an excellent team.

Dane is now age 18, and is aiming to get off of Dewford and perhaps explore past Rustboro to catch more pokemon and maybe take on the gyms. The pokemon league seemed like an interesting challange but Dane was more interested in exploring all of hoenn. Dane continued to relax in Dewford and train his pokemon for the day he could finally be free of the barrer of water that surrounds his home.

Personality: Snype is a very mischivious Pokemon and gets himself into more trouble then Dane wants usually wants to. He plays along with many of Danes tricks but is bound to wander off and do his own thing every so often. Nevertheless, He is Dane's most loyal pokemon and his best friend at that. The two share an unbreakable bond. Despite being a prankster in his own right, He is very kindhearted.

Personality: Hyperactive and loves talking to fellow pokemon so much that its annoying. Often likes to play games that involve racing and whatnot know that she'll always win due to her blinding speed. Snype finds her very annoying but is able to work well together with her in battle. In battle she likes to tease her opponents by slowing down a bit.

Personality: Sheen is an extremely reckless fighter and is not exactly obediant to Dane. The only time Sheen is strictly obedient is in the field of battle where he does his best to go along with Dane's commands. He shares a strong brother like bond with Snype and is very good friends with him. He also finds Able annoying.

Personality: She is your typical "You're a trainer, let's battle!" type of trainer. But there's more to her than that. Yes, she does love looking for battles to train her Pokemon, but she's also looking for a chance to practice her contest moves. Tess will have her Pokemon use moves in correspondence that will show off her Pokemon's grace and beauty. She is very loyal to her friends and just generally loves to hang out with them. She will space out occasionally, thinking about different things - usually contests. She never gives up in a battle, and will often use most of her potions and revives in one battle. Leading to problems later on when she really needs them. She also thinks there are Wizards Everywhere.
History: Tess started off living in Pallet Town, where she got her first Pokemon, a Bulbasaur. They journeyed through the Kanto Region, conquering the gyms with the rest of Tess's party. Along the way she caught a Pidgey named Robin. He later evolved into a Pidgeotto but refused to evolve after that. Tess saw this a fair enough and allowed him to stay a Pidgeotto. She carried on with her journey, until she reached the town of Lavender. Here she met a young Cubone who was abandoned and decided to catch the Pokemon.

After defeating the Kanto Elite Four, Tess went to Johto Region and managed to catch a Mareep and Misdreavus before being called back to her home. Her parents had moved to Lavender Town and wanted her to help them unpack and keep an eye on things at the House of Memories, where departed Pokemon rest. Tess thought that it would be best to just stay in Lavender Town for a while and just train her Pokemon. A traveling chef from the Unova Region gave her a Scraggy and a Woobat as a gift.

One day, about a year later, the police were looking for strong trainers to volunteer to bust a Pokemon Mill that had been breeding Rapidash in to earn money off of. Enraged, Tess went with them and helped the police arrest the men responsible. While searching the Mill afterwards, Tess found one egg that hadn't been smashed in an attempt by the men in a last resort to end their work. The police allowed Tess to keep the egg and from it hatched a shiny Ponyta, the men had been breeding for money and the chance of hatching a shiny, and now. Here it was, and it was Tess's. After training said Ponyta into a Rapidash, Tess saw a new comer wander into town and she challenged the new comer. They found out that they had a lot in common and decided to go to the Hoenn Region together.

Personality:

She is usually out going, but is sometimes shy when certain situations or people come around. She tries to be very nice, but if you are rude or disrespect her, she will try and defend herself. She laughs a lot, and is usually weird around her friends. She doesn't take herself seriously, and doesn't believe that everything should be about winning all the time, even at times she can become very competitive. Optimistic and bubbly, some people find her annoying. Also she doesn't have a problem in making new friends. Sometimes she can let her mood influence her actions, maybe she would snap at people even if her problem had nothing to do with that person. Somewhat self-conscience, but is very proud of what she does have. She's sometimes awkward with people, depending who they are.
She enjoys singing; dancing, basically any girly stuff. Holly loves fashion, pop culture and is often found listening to music. She carries more than she should, more clothes for example. Often goes to contests and participates in them. She shares a very close bond with all of her Pokémon, and she hasn't changed her team really at all.

History:

Since Holly was very young, she always had Pokémon around her, and always liked being different. Her parents were kind of rich when she was growing up, so she could travel where she wanted and caught the Pokémon of her dreams. By doing this, she was able to catch all the Pokémon she wanted (with help from her father), that she read about in books, early. One day when Holly was younger, she had traveled with her father to Lavender Town in the Kanto region to visit the Pokémon graves. While visiting, the local Poke Center, a Trainer by the name of Tess challenged her to a battle. They were closely matched, and also had things in common, so they decided to stay in touch. They eventually said that after they conquered their home region that they would meet up again and take on the Hoenn challenge together. She trained really hard with her Pokémon, and made a name for herself. Many people didn't really know her by name outside of Johto, but they knew who she was just by looking at her. Her family became well known in Johto by taking ownership over the Tin Tower. Her father was a hotshot trainer when he was younger, when he met Holly's mother. Before they got married, they were very poor, and almost lived out on the street until one day. There was a Pokémon catching contest in Violet City, where many people had claimed to see a Feebas. Feebas were naturally rare, but to make it even more outstanding is that this Feebas was a Shiny Pokémon. The town's mayor decided to reward anyone who caught the shiny Feebas with a large sum of money along with keeping the rare fish Pokémon. Her father was lucky and caught the Feebas and became locally famous. He deiced to train the Pokémon for he knew what this weird looking Pokémon would evolve into. He eventually got older, and he couldn't train anymore, and wanted to start a family. This is when they took over the Tin Tower, and he placed the Shiny Feebas in the lake that was located behind their house. It stayed there for some years, until Holly came home to tell her family that she had beat the first gym leader. As a reward, her father gave that Feebas to Holly and told her that this Pokémon needed to be shown off; for he knew that she would evolve it. She visited Tess again later, after she had received 6 badges, and traded her Feebas with another Pokémon of Tess's, so her Feebas would evolve into a Milotic. They traded back, and Holly was over joyed that she had the Pokémon. She traveled home to show her father what had taken place, and to finish conquering the Johto region.

Name: Scott Ryder

Nickname: 'The Ryder' (Only he uses this. Everyone else calls him Scott).

Occupation: Trainer

Hometown: Nimbasa City

Home Region: Unova

Age: 15

Appearance:

-Height: 5'6

-Hair: His hair is light brown, and it grows upwards and otwards in an almost spiky fashion.

-Eye color: Green

-Skin tone: Medium

-Clothing Style: Scott usually dresses like he's a martial arts student of some sort. He wears a sleevless red top, which has a zipper right down the front, and underneath that wears a black tank top. His trousers are black, big and incredibly baggy at the bottom (so much so that you can hardly see his footwear most of the time). Speaking of which, he wears basic white trainers. He also wears a wristband on each arm, and a red headband which props his hair up.

-Other: As Scott likes to train with his pokemon, he is quite stocky (and usually covered in scrapes and bruises from time to time).

Personality: Scott is incredibly ambitious, and this trait can sometimes take over, overcoming his common sense and self awareness at times. Once he sets his mind on doing something, he will do it. And nobody can stop him. Well, he likes to think that. See, the thing with Scott is, he overestimates how powerful he is most of the time. When he looses, he's a bad loser - thinking of every excuse in the book, rather than admitting he just wasn't strong enough. In his head, he is the best. He wants to be a Champion, after all.

Basically, Scott Ryder is an all-round hot head. He dosen't take kindly to ayone whom he thinks is mocking him, and will usually retaliate, against all better judgement. Needless to say, he can seem quite stubborn and obnoxious at first, but hey. If you get in his good books, then he might treat you like a friend.

History: Scott was born as a single child to a mother and a father (naturally) in Canalave City, Sinnoh.

His father's side of the family had a history of being competitive, and relishing pokemon battling, so they have a tradition. Every newborn in the family is given a pokemon egg when they are born. This way they can bond with what is effectively their starter pokemon from the word go. The pokemon inside is always random, as the family believes any great trainer can make something of any pokemon.

Anyway, Scott's egg turned out to hatch into a Munchlax. Together the two grew up as babies, then toddlers, during which time Scott took to calling his Munchlax "Bwarbby", in the typical blabbering sound toddlers make. This sound eventually became the nickname 'Barry'.

When Scott was just three years old, the family moved to the Unova region (as there were Wizards Everywhere in Sinnoh). They settled in Nimbasa city, and that is where Scott and Barry did practically all of their growing up. It wasn't long before Scott took initiative for the whole pokemon trainer thing. He saw the matches on TV, the tournaments, the fame, the status - Scott wanted to be a Champion. On one day in particular, at seven years old, he even snuck one of his father's PokeBalls and captured a pokemon by himself - a Rufflet. Now with two pokemon, he started to become more serious with his training. Each passing day brought about new strengths for Scott, Barry and Rufflet (whom he called chief, due to the Indian Chieftan style feathers he had going on).

Eventually, his parents applied for a Trainer's License (a Pokedex) for their son. It was routine to recieve a 'starter pokemon' from the local professor when recieving this machine. Scott chose Tepig.

Now he is on his way to challenge the Hoenn League first - as he has been told it's the best place to go and challenge at this time of year.

Gender: Male

Nature: Lax
Moves: Metronome, Rest, Sleep Talk, Focus Punch, Body Slam
Personality: Barry is Scott's best friend, and thus totally loyal to him. Barry is like any other Munchlax - always hungry. Yet he is quite energetic, and relishes the excitement of battling.


Name: Chief (Rufflet)
Gender: Male
Type: Normal/Flying
Nature: Bold
Moves: Aerial Ace, Tailwind, Slash, Sky Drop, Hone Claws
Personality: Chief is a very focused pokemon. It rarely messes around like Barry, however he gets on well with his teammates. He will always strive to achieve victory for his side.


Name: Maximo (Pignite)
Gender: Male
Type: Fire/Fighting
Nature: Hardy
Moves: Flame Charge, Brick Break, Rollout, Defense Curl, Heat Crash
Personality: Maximo is very much like Scott, in that he too is very enthusiastic, yet overestimates his power at times. Maximo, like Barry, loves pokemon battles (especially when he gets to beat his opponent to the ground). He too is a hot head, if you'll pardon the pun.

Personality: Usually people from Floaroma Town are some of the nicest and most cheerful people ever. The opposite could be said about Adrian who some see as inconsiderate, egotistical and cheeky as some put it. Adrian analyzes a person and then determines if they are useful or useless and so far he has found more useless people than anything else. Despite the way he behaves towards other people he is very respectful of his pokemon and any other pokemon he would consider strong. Adrian sees the world as it is and can be described as raw or uncensored and will tell you exactly what he thinks of you.

History: Growing up Adrian was dying to finally leave his hometown and all the cheery and always happy people around him there and even though he loved them his parents also fell under that category. Growing up for Adrian was rough since personality wise he was different from everyone around him and was unwilling to change. Like any boy or girl though he did love pokemon and dreamt about being a pokemon master all his life.His parents did travel alot though and when Adrian received his first pokemon, a chimchar, at the age of 13 he would travel with them to any region that had a pokemon he considered exceptional. Through swimming, climbing mountains and the regular running around in grass he found the pokemon he wanted. Adrian took on the Sinnoh League and was victorious and sent most of the pokemon that helped him win back to his parents saying they weren't good enough to continue so far but thanked them for their help up to that point. It took Adrian 3 years to do all of this and was disappointed in himself for taking so long to fulfill his dreams which he had not accomplished yet but at this point he was only 16.It wasn't a perfect journey and Adrian went through many struggles so he made a huge decision. Adrian took 2 years off his travels in an attempt to build what he called the perfect team but during that entire time there was just one memory going through his head, the day he met Tess Vandersnatch. During his travels Adrian found himself in Lavender Town, Kanto. He met Tess and she somehow beat Adrian with a Venusaur, Pidgeotto and Cubone, this really dented Adrians confidence and from then on he considered her a rival. He went back a couple months later hoping for better fortune but the battle ended in the result, a defeat for Adrian. After his training was finished Adrian vowed he would one day find her again and this time beat her.

What do you mean by starters must be from your home region? Do we have to have one of the three starters from our region on our team or do we just need to have at least one Pokemon from our region?

Yes you have to have the starter from your home region. But you don't have to have that starter in your party if you're farther on in your journey like me and TrainerGiza. I would say that it's a good idea to have at least one Pokemon from your home region, but you don't have to have the starter in your party.

Does it have to be one of the three basic starters of that region or can it be any stage 1 Pokemon as long as it's from that region?

If you are going to be an actual trainer then, yes, it has to be one of the three basic starters of that region.

Personality: At first glance, she is shy and quiet. However, if you take the time to get to know her you will see that she is actually a vibrant and funny young girl. She's energetic and wholly invested into her cause. She dedicates her life to her pokemon, and puts them above everything else. She's quirky and loud to those who know her well. She's very determined and strives to meet her goal in anyways. She rarely gets into arguments with people, but when she does it's a rather large ordeal. She hates people that mistreat her pokemon, and has very strong opinions that she sticks to. Since a pokemon basically saved her life, she treats all her pokemon like friends and equals, rather than like tools. She rarely keeps them in their pokeballs, preferring to instead keep them out and with her.
History: When she was young, she was very sick. There was no reason that doctors could find for this, and no visible cure. She was very weak as a child, even until her 10th birthday. She wanted desperately to go on her journey, but her parents saw no feasible way that this could be done. Her brother was a famous trainer, and had become a gym leader, adding to her want of a pokemon journey. Her parents still let her go pick out a pokemon, thinking a playmate would be good for her. She chose a Charamander. For some mysterious reason, the more time she spent with her Charamander, the healthier she became. After a few weeks, she was able to be out of bed for long periods of time, and could even be found running around in the backyard with her beloved Charamander. She participated in her first pokemon battle against her brother soon after, and immediately knew she wanted to go on a pokemon journey. Her parents were very scared to let her go, since she had been sick for so long, and they were afraid to let it come back. However, they let reluctantly let her go when she was 11 on her journey. She was constantly in her brother's shadow, so she had to train extra hard in order to break away from being called "the gym leader's sister," and since she had a late start she had to train hard as well. She vowed to make a name for herself in order to show that she too could be a great trainer.
She built a dream team together and trained hard, building friendships with her pokemon and going around to defeat Kanto's gym leaders, even her brother. The battles were hard, but she got through it and came out stronger. Along the way, she helped pokemon she saw and caught new ones. She excelled in the gyms and eventually came to the Elite Four, which, after a long struggles, she also beat. She moved on to the Johto region, where she now resides, trying to earn all the badges for that region as well. She dreams of earning all the badges in all the regions, and eventually becoming one of the Elite Four.

its okay! yeah you will need to add some more, but its getting there! look at my SU if needed to see length. that's fine, as long as you get it tweaked sometime soon! oh, and if you want to interact with the characters that are already in, you'll have to be on a boat, in Dewford City (Hoenn), or somewhere near there. just to let you know. but if your planning to do your own thing, go right on ahead! and i do think she should be a tad older, maybe 16, or 17 instead? it has to be realistic. Holly and Tess are older, and they are champions too. okay? :D
