re: blaze black and volt white

Hey, I have a whole list of suggestions for pokemon and moves etc but I am not currently home. I will post a list of suggestions when I get home. for now, I suggest passing moves like seed flare, volt tackle (luxray and electivire), octazooka (power it up), tail glow (charizard?), grass whistle (boost accuracy to 80), poison tail (make it good), and other "signature moves to other pokemon after seeing if they could use a boost. Also a few pokemon could use type changes (Yanmega to bug/dragon), (glalie to ice/steel with stat boosts) and others that I will post later. I have a decent list lying around from spirit crystal that was pretty good and I will add other things to it based on BW.

Okay, the hack is updated! Say hello to version 1.1.

Changes are as follows:
+ There's now a normal and legendary version. The legendary version will allow you to get all 649 Pokémon if you don't mind screwing the presentation up a bit. See the first post for more details.

+ There have been four new type changes. Gothita, Gothorita and Gothitelle are now Psychic / Dark, and Farfetch'd is now Fighting / Flying (in addition to getting a slightly increased stat boost).

+ Some battles have been edited slightly, either to make them harder or to introduce the new changes.

+ Some abilities have been changed. Omanyte, Omastar, Kabuto, Kabutops, Lotad, Lombre and Ludicolo have had their original abilities restored, and Bellossom now gains Own Tempo rather than Natural Cure.

+ A couple of problems have been fixed, such as two incorrectly placed Wild Pokémon (one from a typo, one I forgot to change later in development) and a trainer in Challenger's Cave having a ? Pokémon (forgot to close that slot).

+ Further edits to level up moves have been applied, to the following Pokémon: Growlithe, Arcanine, Vulpix, Ninetales, Skarmory, Farfetch'd, Bellossom, Natu, Xatu, Carnivine.

+ Black City trainers have been edited. Their Pokémon now depend on which version of the hack you use (Normal or Legendary).

+ The download now contains UPS patches with the tsukuyomi patcher, in addition to the xdelta patches present before.

+ The levels of static one-time encounter Pokémon have been raised. Reshiram and Zekrom can now actually fight!

---

Hopefully, that should improve it a bit!

(Also, suaqua, I didn't put in any of those just yet. I can say now that some of them might be a bit awkward (ie changing Yanmega's type is a bit weird as it has two incredibly good abilities, but I'd pretty much have to put Levitate over one of them if I did that...). You're more than welcome to do a Spirit Crystal like thing as you did with Spirit Gold, though.)

^alls that was done in that vid, was a text edit, and a trainer edit, then the team was sav'd in.

Anywho if you want changes...

Strength-Now Fighting with 20% to boost attack.
Rock Climb-Now Rock.
Defog-A flying type rapid spin.
Wing Attack-25BP but hit's twice
Elemental fangs-75BP
Elemental Puches-85BP
Bug Opposition-60BP (and learnable by more pokemon)
Flame Burst-70BP
Incinerate-60BP

(this is off an opinion Snivy should've been Grass/Poison)
Add Poison Fang and Tail to Snivy's line.
Make Aqua and Iron Tail learnable.

Give Pidgey's line Wing Attack earlier.

Add Shell Smash to squirtle's line (and Razor Shell as an egg move?)

Give Charmander Tail Glow as an Egg move

Seed Flare is learnable by the families of...
Bulbasaur
Oddish
Hoppip
Seedot
Budew
Tropius
Cherubi
Lefeon
Snivy(as an egg move)
Pansage
Deerling
Virizion.

Give Magma Storm to the families of...
Magmar (like at level 68, and make one of the ways to evolve it is to let it know the move)
Slugma
Numel
Pansear
Larvesta
Heatmor

Give Aura Sphere to the families of...
Ralts
Budew
Darmanitan (for Zen Mode)
Chimchar
Solrock
Lunatone
Spoink
Meditite

Give Leaf Blade to the families off...
Scyther (Egg move)
Farfetch'd
Bellsprout
Lotad
Carnivine
Snover
Pansage
Leavanny (icr if she does or not)
Lilligent
Sawsbuck

Bubble should be give to all 'Baby' pokemon as a Baisic move.

SteamRoller should be given to the families of...
Klink
Miltank (egg move from golem)
Wailmer
Phanphy
Voltorb

Give Techno Buster to Porygon's family too.

Instead of making every reptile Somthing/Dragon typing (which imo turns the game into 'Battle of Fariys, Dragons and random pets), give them moves that hint twords it.

Give Charizard Dragon Pulse and Claw via Level Up
Give Gyrados Dragon Pulse via Level Up
Give Yanmega Dragon Dance (or Quiver Dance :3) and Dragon Pulse via Leve Up
stuff like that.

And give Draco Meteor as an egg move, to all the Pokemon in the Dragon Breeding Family, instead of cheaply making them part 'Dragon' aka the easy yout imo.

I'll think about the suggestions, I guess. For the record, Blastoise already has Shell Smash.

Also, tifaluv, what suaqua and IronTrapinch said are right I'm afraid. It's just a text and team edit. That guy loves doing stuff like that.

Hey Drayano, do you battle competitively? If so, did that affect your changes to the stats and such?

I don't horribly often nowadays but I'm fully aware of the competitive background; it did definitely affect my decisions with some things, yeah. The stats I don't know so much, though I suppose most of the stuff that got boosts was in the NU tier, so... yes, I suppose it did.

Edit: Updated with V1.2, this has a clean version packaged in that reduces the hack to a basic wild/trainer/evolution edit, helpful for the legit/straight-edge player.

I know this is late and such, but some other move changes were...

Beedrill with Drill Liner
Butterfree with Power Gem

Bone Club and Bonemerang on Vullaby's line

Baton Pass on Yanmega

Psycho Boost on Alakazam

Roar of Time on Celebi

Dragon Tail on Minccino

Tail Slap on
Rattata
Snivy
Aipom

Extrasensory added to
Budew
Magby
Elekid
Smoochum

Type Changes-
Glalie Ice/Rock (or Ice/Dark)
Zebstrika Electric/Dark and give it some level up dark moves, and slightly better stats.
Normal Darmanitan Fire/Fighting (to compliment Zen Mode)
Cofagrigus Ghost/Rock (or Ghost/Ground, but Golett's got that)
Luxray Electric/Dark

Give Ursaring Reckless as an Ability and these moves via level up
Wood Hammer
Submission
DOuble-Edge
Head Smash

Shell Smash and Razor Shell on
Torterra (via Breeding)
Crawdaunt (Replacing Dragon Dance)
Kingler

Flare Blitz on Flareon...duh...

and evolution ideas

Scyther and Onix-Level up holding either Metal Coat or Iron Gem
Poliwhirl-Level up with King's Rock or Water Gem
Porygon(2)-Level up holding Up-Grade (and Dubious Disc), or Level up knowing Conversion (2), and add those moves later to the movesets (27 and 60 each).
Slowpoke-Level up with King's Rock or Mind Gem

Ampharos should learn tail glow via level up.

and that's all I can think of atm, but of course the second i finish posting, I will think of more.

I've been backseat keeping up with this, and on the fence on if I should play it or not.
I just saw the legendary versions and such and Now I'm completely over the fence about to play this game. I think what you've done is amazing and you should keep up the good work
