The stars of the team so far are Lilligant and Tsareena. Venusaur is brought in to give me Poison coverage and something that isn't weak to bug type attacks. X Scissor and Bug Buzz seem to be everywhere in this game.

I'm about to fight Olivia and my team is Poppy the male Brionne, a still-unnamed pikachu (just got the thunder stone), Silex the female midnight Lycanroc, Tox the female Salandit, Rat King the totem raticate, all of which I got during normal gameplay, and an unnamed shiny dragonair from White 2. Every one is in the early 30s level-wise. Feels strange not having a grass type, as I usually have one of those.

Okay then here is my endgame team I beat the league with last Monday.

First member is Sadie the Primarina, obviously my starter, and always the most over leveled of my team.

Second member and first Pokémon that I caught is not surprising, it's Zoroark which I nicknamed Trix. Unfortunately I didn't get use him as much as I would have liked to since he was pretty frail.

Third member is Fenris the Dusk Lycanroc, which is named after Fenris Wolf from Norse myth. Definitely a powerhouse, and pretty clutch since he managed to hit all of his Stone Edges against Kahului of the E4.

Fourth member was Lazagna the Totem Salazzle. As soon as I heard about getting a totem Salazzle in my Ultra Moon game, I was scouring every nook and cranny for those totem stickers. I managed to get my 50th sticker at Hano Beach, so I had this powerhouse for about half of the game.

Fifth Member was Verizon the Virizion. I actually have a funny story for this one. I was doing the Ultra Warp Ride for the first ever time during the main story, and ended up in a no-ring green wormhole my first run. This actually happened to be a Virizion, which I caught first turn in a quick ball. If that ain't lucky, then I have no idea what is.

My sixth and final team member was Nebby the Necrozma/Lunala fusion, or as I like to call it, Necroznala. I found Necrozma on Mount Lanakila, then got the N Solarizer and Lunarizer, then went to Mahalo Trail to catch Lunala and fused with Necrozma. This thing carried an INSANE Sp. Atk stat, rocking Photon Geyser, Psychic, X Scissor, and Moongeist Beam, this freak of nature was a force to be reckoned with.


So that was my team I beat the E4 with a week ago, on the 20th.

Just arrived on Poni Island! It's been a good game so far. It can be challenging at times but going smoothly.

Decided on Tyrunt for my final team member. (Elgyem is the last team mon I'll be picking up on Ula Ula island) Thought I'd take a risk and go with something I normally wouldn't gravitate towards.

The teams biggest weakness is Ice, but that's not really a big complaint in a region like Alola.

Dusk Mane Necrozma - Photon Geyser, Sunsteel Strike, Outrage and Night Slash.

Note: Dusk Mane Necrozma has z crystal so it can become Ultra Necrozma to get stab for Outrage.

Still enjoying the challenge, now on Ula'ula Island. So close to getting to the area to evolve Charabug!

I am not running UM as a Nuzlocke, but since I do those kinds of challenges often, the difficulty of the Ultra versions has me sweating lol

I've finished the post-game story with my whole team at lv 70 with my starter at lv 71.

- Ampharos with Thunder Punch, Discharge, Dragon Pulse, and Power Gem.

- Furfrou with Headbutt, Bite, Charge Beam, and Take Down.

- Tsareena with Magical Leaf, Dazzling Gleam, Hi Jump Kick, and Trop Kick.

- Arcanine with Flamthrower, Crunch, Bulldoze, and Arial Ace.

- Pangoro with Hammer Arm, Crunch, Ice Punch, and X-Scissor.

Any advice for 5th and 6th members would be great! I was thinking of going back and picking up a Noibat. Would like to have a fast special attacker that isn't Jolteon (who I've used a lot in playthroughs in the past)

How about Volcarona? You can catch a Larvesta in the cave in the Lush Jungle. It'll take a while to evolve it, but it's worth it for sure.

Hmmmm, one of my favorite pokemon but I've never used one outside of competetive battles. I think I might just do that.
