Note that this is my first game, and was completed in december of 2011. As such, the spelling i really not so great. An updated version may be released if the community enjoys the game.
Developed in RPG maker XP and poccil's Pokémon essentials!
introduction:
I am a blind Pokémon player who has always wanted to create interesting Pokémon games.
My first idea of a game was just some random trainers written on my brailler.
(A brailler is a braille typewriter
It was fun for me to imagine me being a trainer and battling my doodled trainers.
But, as with most games on paper, I always won Xd
Then, about 2 years after that first doodle, (July 23 2010), I was interduced to
Window Eyes, a very expensive text to speech program for computers.
I quickly came to Pokécommunity and learned about romhacks, VBA, etc.
You may be able to find some old posts of mine from than.
They would be stuff like
"How do you play rar ROMs on VBA? Lol I was a noob haha
But once I got the hang of that, I proceeded to make a failure romhack.
In may of 2011, I baught rmxp and downloaded Pokémon essentials.
I created a not so good game called Pokémon tourney.
finally, in December, I finished Superior darkness!
The plot.
Warning spoilers!
I'm using basic editor because of screen reader compatibility, and don't know how
to create spoilers using it!
You are a boy/girl who has lived an ordinary life.
Completely normal.
Nothing extraordinary.
This all changed on the day before your tenth birthday.
You are bored and seek to talk with your friend.
Enter Carlos!
Carlos has also had an ordinary life as well, but his parents were not keen on the
idea of him leaving home at the young age of ten to become a Pokémon trainer.
His mom had openly denied him permission the previous night.
Your character, for the sake of this plot, will be called Cody.
Cody finds Carlos in the park, but he isn't alone.
You overhear that he is going to do some favor for a strange man, and in return,
said strange man would reward Carlos with a stolen Pokémon.
You start your journey the next day, but you haven't seen the last of Carlos.
Is he good or evil?
What is this favor?
Who's the strange man?
How will Carlos influence the deeper plot lying within the game?
Features.
Two different storylines, good and evil, but only good is created.
The good storyline lasts from beginning to end credits!
Your levels at this point should range from 45 to 60.
A mapless game, but still interactive puzzles and intense battles!
A new storyline
New gyms
One new fakemon?
Cool music.
The battles still have text and stuff, so you still can play it with out having to
learn to play it using only audio like me!
The storyline is written in text too.
A glitchy rock paper scissors mini game. (hopefully all glitches have been resolved)
Ability to travel to the past!
screenshots
I just found out how to take screenshots.
They are not good I assume.
I'm blind and therefore, can't really take good pictures.
In adition, the game is not graphically appealing at all, but it does have a good storyline to waste some time on.
The attacks do have animations though, none of them were made by me however.

Don't tell me you just skipped here with out reading anything else?!
That's just to bad for you than!
Whatever.
Note:
If you could help by uploading merors it would be appreciated!

Not really, I want it to be like a normal Pokémon game with maps, but with my disability, making maps is impossible, and being unable to find any mappers, this game is a compromise.
I am glad you find it interesting, the goal here is to make a storyline that is interesting, but with the game element to make things cooler :3
If you need help with one of the puzzles just give me a haller by way of this thread.

I find that this game has the possibility to be better than any other in this section. The reason why is that you built this game even though you are blind. So in essence, you might say that this game was literally built from the heart. Your dedication is something I don't see around here anymore, and for that I must applaud you. Well done. Also, I have always been a big believer in stories over graphics, so I love to see someone with the same idea.

Hello PKMN.Master, what you say brings inspiration. I am happy to know that you feal this way.
I've always loved Pokémon since the day I played Crystal and found that Pokémon was a video game I could be equal with sighted people on.
Fan games & hacks have interested me since I got a computer in 2010, but I was disappointed that my ideas for storylines could not really be portreyed in a way that traditional Pokémon fans would appreciate.
Your words encourage me, thanks a bunch!
I finished this game in december 2011 so admittedly I can create much better games in this style than I could in 2011, so I'm also working on revamping it but it's not going to be easy.
Regards, TOPM/PMA
