Hey guys, Zylas here. I've just made another competitive battle team, and I'd like your guys' opinion. Its a simple OU team with a Sandstorm lead, 2 Physical Sweepers, 2 Special Sweepers/a Rapid Spinner, and a Tank/Annoyer. Here it is:

Tyranitar: @Focus Sash Ability - Sandstream *Mild*

Moveset ~

Crunch
Fire Blast
Ice Beam
Stealth Rock

EVs= 252 Sp. Atk; 252 Spd; 4 Atk

Jellicent: @Leftovers Ability - Water Absorb *Bold*

Moveset ~

Scald
Toxic
Recover
Taunt

EVs= 248 HP; 216 Def; 44 Spe

Scizor: @Choice Band Ability - Technician *Adamant*

Moveset ~

U-Turn
Bullet Punch
Superpower
Pursuit

EVs= 248 HP; 252 Atk; 8 Sp. Def

Lucario: @ Life Orb Ability - Inner Focus *Adamant*

Moveset ~

Swords Dance
Close Combat
ExtremeSpeed
Ice Punch

EVs= 252 Atk; 252 Spe; 4 HP

Starmie: @Leftovers Ability - Natural Cure *Timid*

Moveset ~

Surf
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Rapid Spin

EVs= 252 Sp. Atk; 252 Spe; 4 Sp. Def

Alakazam: @Focus Sash Ability - Magic Guard *Timid*

Moveset ~

Psyshock
Focus Blast
Signal Beam
Hidden Power Ice

EVs= 252 Sp. Atk; 252 Spe; 4 HP

I feel like I have a distinct weakness to dark with Jellicent, Starmie, and Alakazam. Help?

Hrm, a "smogon team", eh? Summarizing my thoughts:
1) Is Tyranitar a special sweeper or a tank? If it's a sweeper, it must have Spe, not SpD. If it's a Tank, it must have some HP and some physical attacks...

2) Yes, your team is pooped with Dark-type moves. Sucker Punch is your bane and is something even your Speed-based sweepers cannot trump. So yeah, this could easily take down 3 of your pokemon. IMO, that's not much of a problem. Sucker Punch is very rare in OU. Could only think of Dugtrio or Latias using it.

In any case, you may easily replace Jellicent with a different tank/annoyer. Some good alternatives are Ferrothorn and Gastrodon. As for Starmie/Alakazam, fair choices are Latias, Jolteon, or Jirachi.

Edit: Your current team's pretty pooped against the very common Garchomp, btw..

Ferrothorn or Celebi are good fits on the team if you're having trouble with Jellicent and Starmie:

Ferrothorn:
-Spikes/Stealth Rock
-Leech Seed/Stealth Rock
-Power Whip/Leech Seed/Protect
-Gyro Ball/Thunder Wave
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP/48 Def/208 SDef
Item: Leftovers/Shed Shell

Celebi:
-Giga Drain/Psychic
-U-turn
-Recover
-Perish Song/Thunder Wave/Stealth Rock
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP/236 SDef/20 Spe
Item: Leftovers

or
-Leaf Storm
-Earth Power/Psychic/Hidden Power (Fire)
-Thunder Wave/U-turn
-Recover
Nature: Modest
EVs: 60 HP/252 SAtk/196 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Leftovers

or
-Nasty Plot
-Giga Drain
-Earth Power/Hidden Power (Fire)
-Psychic/Recover/Hidden Power (Ice)
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 Def/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Leftovers/Life Orb

or
-Leaf Storm
-Hidden Power (Ice/Fire)
-Earth Power/Psychic
-U-turn/Trick
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Choice Scarf

I agree that Celebi should be on your team, as your team may have trouble taking on Ground and Electric-types as well as Jellicent. A setup special sweeper set might be the most handy here.

-Nasty Plot
-Giga Drain
-Earth Power
-Psychic/Recover
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 Def/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Leftovers/Life Orb
