Oh yeah. I forgotz you could delete posts. About halfway through my SU, which should be complete this afternoon (GMT)!

Hey, just curious if there was anymore room? I will more than likely work on my SU tonight and hopefully have it up later or tomorrow!

Name: Izaak Sharpe

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Appearance:
Izaak stands at a modest height of 5'11", just shy of 6'. He weighs in just under 150 pounds, putting his build skinnier than most, however more tone than others his size. Shaggy, dark brown hair rests neatly just above his ear, while his bangs fall carefully above his brow. A shroud of well-kempt stubble covers the entirety of his jawline. Very rarely letting it grow into a full-fledged beard, only to be trimmed back down shortly thereafter. His eyes, although usually wandering his surroundings, are a very deep blue, but can appear green in the right lighting.

Regardless of temperature, Izaak will always be wearing an all black jacket made of a course leather. Underneath is an all white shirt with a stitched pattern, descending from the neck of the shirt down about a quarter length. Around his neck, he will usually sport an all black bandanna. Laced with an intricate design in all white that most bandannas have. He will typically pull the bandanna up over his mouth before a Pokemon battle, even if he has only participated in a handful. His pants fit snug around his legs, made of a tough, dark denim. His shoes are a very simple, tall pair of brown boots with a durable black, rubber bottom.

Personality:
To say Izaak was a people person... would be about half-way true. Although rather moody, Izaak will take any opportunity at his disposal to help someone in trouble. Often the reward is little to none, but the satisfaction of seeing a smile on someone's face is enough for him. However, not all is well for Izaak, he often finds himself completely losing himself in his own thoughts. A trait that he was often teased over. His sister would exclaim "Are you lost in that head of yours again?!?" immediately followed by a chuckle.

Overall a very serious person, Izaak is not without his carefree side. You can find him cracking a joke here or there, usually in a playful, sarcastic manner. He will always be out in his spare time, trying to better himself in whatever way possible; reading in libraries, studying various subjects, and even exercising with his Pokemon companion, Iron. He will often leave town to take long walks when he feels the need to be alone. Being in nature and observing his surroundings is a sort of saving grace for him when he needs to be calmed. He can tend to be a bit closed off at first but once you earn his trust he will open up his wandering mind. Despite his complications, he is a truly loyal friend and is usually one-hundred percent honest, unless it comes down to a rather touchy subject. When it comes to girls, Izaak will tend to get nervous and will stumble his words as a result.

Very fond of writing, Izaak carries a leather bound journal. He will frequently jot down thoughts, poems, and any other things that come to mind inside. However, he is very secretive of his writing and will rarely show anyone the contents unless a full bond of trust is acquired.

History:
Izaak is the son of a miner. Growing up in Oreburgh Valley was not his ideal environment. However, being the carefree child he was, he made the best of it. His mother was a stay at home mother. Taking care of him and his older sister, Evelyn. Despite the constant teasing between the two, there was an extremely intimate bond between them. They would argue and wrestle, and even walk to school together. Most of what a usual sibling relationship would consist of. He had a rather hard time when his sister moved off to Jubilife City to attend school. His family was small. He had never met much of his extended family on the account his parents had moved from the Kanto region to settle down and have a family. Leaving the rest away in a region they very seldom visited.

At a young age he would go with his father to work in the mines. Only carrying what he could and handing his dad the required tools for the current job. As Izaak grew older, he worked more and more. Taking on more responsibilities as he became more capable. On his 13th birthday, an unfortunate birthday as he had been sick for days before and even after. His father had come home with a surprise gift, a wounded Aron. Izaak's father had been working that day and had come across the Aron. Stuck under a plethora of stones and rocks that had collapsed from the ceiling. Aron was a rare Pokemon to see in the Sinnoh region, so his father capitalized on the opportunity. Izaak assisted in nursing the Pokemon back to health and before he knew it, he had a brand new friend.

As time passed, Izaak would work so often that he would have very little time to himself between work and school. Eventually being fed up with this, he confronted his father. Thus, sparking an argument that would change his life. They fought and argued to no avail. The following morning, his father had gone to work as usual. Izaak had walked to school as usual. As he sat in class, a terrible accident had happened in the mines. An assumed earthquake had struck and caused a mass of rocks and equipment to collapse. He came home from school that day, unaware, only to find that his father had passed in the accident. Blaming himself Izaak fell into a state of depression and could only blame himself for the accident.

On his 20th birthday, Izaak knew what he had to do. Still filled with the weight of regret and blame the Valley of Oreburgh had pushed onto him, he packed up his things. He now sought out a life of quiet and peacefulness. So he headed out for the small town of Twinleaf. He had only heard rumors of a civil war and the various shadows surrounding it. Part of him blamed it for the accident, part of him wanted to find out more. Now, he resides in Twinleaf and has for the past year. He frequently writes letters back and forth with his mother back in Oreburgh Valley, reassuring her to quell her motherly duties. Working at the local mart part time and barely scrapping by with his best friend, Iron. Unaware of the events he was about to be engulfed in.

Hometown: Born and raised in Oreburgh Valley up until age 20. Has lived in Twinleaf Town for the past year.

Weapon: A small katana.

Personality:
Iron is a very hard headed(no pun intended) Pokemon. He always tries to push Izaak in the right direction when he's lost. Iron is also very active and loves to be out and about with Izaak. Izaak speaks to Iron as if Iron understands every word he says, and for the most part, he can.

Name: Nieves Johnson

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Appearance: Nieves stands at approximately 5'2", weighing in around 125 pounds. Her skin is quite pale, a result of both genetics and a lack of sun exposure. She has long platinum blonde, wavy hair, with two bangs falling both sides of her face, which frames her dark blue eyes. She is scarred with burn marks from the right side of her chest across to the left side of her hip and down her leg a little.

As she is used to a colder climate, Nieves clothes tend to reflect this. She tends to sport a long black tunic which falls to her knees, slit up both sides for the sake of mobility. It is trimmed on the edge with blue, and has obvious stitching in the same shade going down the back. In cold weather, she wears a warm grey knitted jumper under this dress, along with black pants to keep her warm. These, along with her gloves and a grey and blue scarf, are not worn in warmer areas. She wears practical black leather boots on her feet, regardless of the weather, along with a belt which she can carry small items on.

Personality: Nieves is the kind of person who will smile warmly and laugh in a good natured sort of manner, all without a hint of any of that emotion touching her eyes. She found early on in life that there was an expectation that she had to be charming and good natured, and so in order to not make people hostile or wary of her, she acts in the way that most people seem to expect of her, only to become slightly disappointed when very few people fail to notice that its all just an act. In reality, Nieves is quite cold, not really caring for small talk - she doesn't care how funny your jokes are, or what the weather is like, as she'd rather just cut to the chase and get to the topic at hand. She also seems quite indifferent to the suffering of others, or at least she is towards those she doesn't care deeply about, although these people seem to be few and far between. She looks at the world's morality in various shades of grey - she doesn't believe that there is anything truly "Good" or anything truly "Evil", as she considers both the very flexible terms. As a result, she isn't above doing things which are traditionally dubbed as being "Evil" in order to achieve her goals, whatever they may be at the time, as once she sets her sights on a goal, almost nothing can deter her from trying to achieve it. At this point in time, her main dream is to learn for herself what the world is truly like, outside of Snowpoint Valley.

History: Nieves was born and raised in Snowpoint Valley, the eldest child of three, to Robert and Marie Johnson, who both ran the local Blacksmith. Her siblings are named Soren and Cassandra respectively. The family lived on the outskirts of the Valley, more towards Lake Acuity. Marie would design the more decorative items that they had to make, and Robert would make them, using the fire from his Arcanines' to heat the metal. Nieves was quite distant as a child up until the point where her mother required her to assist with their work, getting her to work as a messenger, and also working with money. She quickly found that her attitude put people off, and thus adapted her outer persona to fit more with what her mother expected her to do.

This continued for many years, with Nieves also assisting making various items of out metal when she was allowed to, and despite her feelings of being slightly out-of-place, she was nevertheless content with her current situation. However, at the age of 15, a traveller arrived in the Valley, which was a rare thing due to the difficulty in travelling. He was a lanky red haired man, with a rather strange attire in her opinion, but he told her and many others the most marvellous tales of the world outside of the Valley. This sparked a fire within her, that burned to see more of the world, and at the time, she begged her parents to let her accompany the traveller. Of course, they refused to let her do that, but from that time on, she was constantly badgering them to let her go and explore. Eventually, they gave in, allowing her to leave when she turned 18. When she was the depart, she was given one of the Growlithe pups from the Arcanines' most recent litter, named Huojin, to accompany her, despite her protests that she didn't require a guard dog.

The trip through the snow covered lands around Snowpoint were incredibly harsh and unforgiving, with little to no human life between there and Eterna Valley. There were, however, plenty of ice types around the area, including Sneasels. One evening, Nieves and Huojin settled down to sleep in an area which was sheltered from the wind, not knowing that two Sneasels had made their nest there. When the parents came back to find the two of them there, they attacked, one of them slashing Nieves open from chest to hip. With his Roar, Huojin managed to scare the two away for long enough so they could get out of the Sneasels' territory. With Nieves slowly bleeding to death, Huojin managed to breathe enough fire to sear the wounds closed and stop the blood loss. From there on, the journey to Eterna was considerably slowed, but eventually, they made it. Since then, Nieves has been travelling around the West side of Sinnoh, taking work whether she can to fund her endeavours. She is aware of all of the tension in the air at the moment, but doesn't really care that much. She still writes to her parents, however, she never gets any response from them, which she decided must be due to how often she moves around. She is currently residing in Twinleaf town, working as a waitress for a local café.

Hometown: Snowpoint Valley

Weapon: Two small daggers

Ability: Flash Fire

Personality: Huojin is quite a jolly kind of guy, happily following Nieves around in her travels. He tends to be quite playful, often tugging on clothing, running off with various items, or setting things on fire as a joke. As he is only young, he really doesn't see what's so wrong about the way he acts, and is often quite confused when people get upset. He lives up to the nature of his species by being very loyal to Nieves, always keeping in mind what his parents told him before he left Snowpoint - that his most important job was to ensure that the girl survived and was okay. He takes this very seriously, and can often be very wary of strangers, guarding Nieves as he has been ordered... When he's not distracted by having way too much fun, anyway.

I think that pretty much ends SUs, as we still need to wait for the others to post their SUs. But those of you have finished can post and whatnot while we wait.

I think after a few more posts and finishing up conversation, it would be safe to proceed in the RP? Or did you guys want to do anything else?

Alright that sounds good. The others haven't responded yet as to whether they are still doing SUs (with the exception of heretostay), so we will just have to go on without them. If anyone else decides to Sign up, it will be relatively easy to just jump in.

So...you guys might have some questions that need clearing up. Firstly, The Shadow.The Shadow is pretty much the name of the rebellion that rebels against Tasmus. They don't care about who stands in their way, and you'll find out later in the RP what their true motives are.

Secondly, you may be wondering what Avant's dad has to do with anything. His dad has been a part of The Shadow for a little while, but recently learned that they were going to try and use physical force to obtain power over Tasmus. This didn't sit well with Avant's father, so he tried to prevent it from happening, which ultimately resulted in his end due to his snitching (The letter was a warning to him). All of this will be cleared up in the RP itself as well, but I am just telling you guys this in case you are confused.

So now, the city is currently undergoing a raid, and will pretty much be dangerous to live in. Avant is in the town right now trying to find his family (obviously he doesn't find them). Your post does not have to be as long as mine, and it can consist of your character trying to escape, maybe fight a Bronze Soldier or Shadow Grunt (keeping in mind the Soldiers have no Pokemon, whilst Grunts will have Houndours). You can also re-meet each other in town and help each other out, but either way we will eventually meet up on the outskirts of town. Oh yeah, make sure your character gets their weapon now, if they haven't gotten it already.
