Appearance

Standing at 6'7, Richie looms over the general public by around a foot. While his height is incredible, his build is more on the leaner side, making him much less intimidating than one of his stature would normally be. While the young man is quite thin, he has quite a good amount of muscle on him, most of which is found on his legs. His skin is a light tan color, resulting from the countless hours of work and play spent outside. He's kept his natural hair color his entire life, which is a dark blue/black hue. It stood out quite a bit for someone that was born and raised a pure blooded southerner. His eyes are a dark- almost black color, and many seem to see a menacing look behind them.

A typical outfit for the southern grown Richie would start with his trademark, mud stained pair of khaki colored Timberland boots. To match with that, he almost always wears faded light-blue jeans. Highly sensitive to the cold, during winter, he usually wears a camo pull over hoodie, matched with a bright orange scarf, originally bought for hunting. During the blistering hot Mississippi summer, the jacket is replaced with either a t-shirt or tank top. If he were to take his shirt off, you'd find a multitude of scars on his back. If you asked him about it he'd just laugh and tell you it involved to little rednecks and some bird shot.

Personality

The perfect child. Whenever asked how to describe their son, both Mr. and Mrs. Copeland both respond with the same two words. Mild mannered, composed, patient, athletic, the list of words to describe the oldest Copeland child goes on and on. On the more quiet side of the spectrum, Richie isn't very shy or timid, but just simply taking everything in. Giving small words of advice and wisdom every now and again. This sort of reserved aid earned him many friends in both high school and now university. There's no real motive behind his altruistic behaviors, just that it's what seems right.

While he does enjoy the company of others, Richie loves to just be alone in solitude doing something that keeps him entertained. Whether it be hunting, fishing, or playing games he relishes that isolation. The reason that he loves games so much is that they transport him to a world where he can do anything. Even while he's an excellent athlete and has friends in real life, the fantastical powers and worlds that he is transported to, is something that even killing a 12 point buck couldn't compare to.

History

Born in Clinton, Mississipi, Richie is a southern boy through and through. He went on his first hunt at six years old, went to the baptist church every Sunday, and ate biscuits with gravy every morning. While his home was mostly modernized, the lifestyle that he lived was a mix of both the old and new south. He played games in the afternoon, but went working in his grandfather's crop field the next. It was a little strange, but it was a part of his life that he loved. Being the oldest of eight kids, Richie found himself having to act as a second father to some of his siblings. His patience and responsibilty made him perfect for having to deal with them. This is where he got his father-like attitude to most others.

While many might have seen him as a stupid redneck, he was quite the scholar. Richie graduated high school with a 4.2 GPA, multiple offers to play baseball in college, and the first spot of his class. While many were hoping that he would go to the state college, Ole Miss, he decided upon going to an International University far away from home. He would miss the woods and lakes that he spent many of his days, but it was a change that he thought would be good for him. He joined the baseball team at his new school, being the second string shortstop his freshman year. It was a couple weeks before his Sophmore year tryouts that he began seeing flyers around the school, 'beta-testers needed!' 'we need the best!' they read. It was a game called Poke-Link and it piqued his interest. He had some time to spare for this...
