Battlefield 4 has just been released today in North America, for Windows, PlayStation 3, and the Xbox 360. In Japan, Australia, Europe, New Zealand, and other parts of the world, it'll be released throughout November. In November, Battlefield 4 will also be made available to next-generation consoles—Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This is the direct follow-up to Battlefield 3, and features tons of improvements in sound, picture, and gameplay.
Those who live in the US, have any of you gotten a hold of this game yet? If not, then are you planning to? When are you going to get it, and for which console? Additionally, have you played its predecessor, BF 3? How well did you enjoy it? Have you been able to play any other BF games?
I haven't bought this game yet, but I definitely will, though! I've seen a few trailers of it, and it looked simply fantastic. (: The last Battlefield game I've ever played was BF 2, which was released eight years ago—nearly a decade. Personally, I found it to be very fun, but after being introduced to Call of Duty, I eventually started to lose my interest. CoD's gameplay was pretty fast-paced, which was easy to adapt to. Once I got used to it, it was a little difficult for me to switch back to the ways of Battlefield. When I do get Battlefield 4, I'm not exactly sure how well I'll be enjoying it, but we'll see!
