Holy crap, I have an update of my own for the UMC Ghost!!!
Beat Byron thanks to a lucky batch of DT spamming where Magneton couldn't hit me with T-bolt. Then, I got Strength and beat up the Commander in the blown up lake. Don't know which one it was. I think Saturn. Oh well. Trying to get to the peak of Mt. Coronet now.
ohhai . i've been quite lazy what with updating (playing too though..) but here's my first one.
Challenge : DARK-type challenge, EMERALD. - analysis ; named my character 'Hana', as usual, and began my challenge. beat my rival with Ukiwa (mudkip) as i hadn't received pokéballs &stuff yet.. immediately afterwards, caught my first companion; Xana the Poochyena.
after training Xana to lv. 7 on wild pokémon, continued my journey to Petalburg, defeating all trainers with Xana on the way, thus training it another few levels. Met up with dad, Wally caught his Ralts, then went on to Rustboro. not remembering what level Xana was at the time. after first beating all the trainers in front of Rustturf tunnel,beat Roxanne with Xana solo.. and the Aqua grunt.
journeyed to Dewford with Briney. Unable to beat Brawly with just Xana, i ventured into granite cave without FLASH so i could catch a Sableye (and train Xana some more) cause that'd be resistant to Brawly's physical attacks. so i did, named it Shade and trained it some so i could beat Brawly and his underlings soon afterwards.
right now i'm in Slateport, just beat the Aqua peoples and delivered the DevonGoods, and about to hit the road to Mauville .

-Got through Victory Road and remembered somewhat the best path to take.

I think I will use a emulator where I will hack a low level Seel just because he comes too late and I cannot trade through this game. I get Jynx before Rock Tunnel but I need a Poliwhirl and I cannot raise a Poliwag. Okay I'm ready.
I just realized that Seel only has the move Headbutt until Lv. 30 with Growl (that's when Seel evolves!). It will be tough with low PP (15) against Brock and until water gun in Mt. Moon.
Started the game with Charmander as HM Slave.
Got parcel and delivered it.
Got pokeball and caught Seel and named him Cymbal.
Trained Cymbal and got through Viridian Forest.
Trained for Brock's gym.
Defeated Brock with Headbutts and Struggles against Onix.
Got Water Gun in Mt. Moon and taught it to Cymbal.
Got to Cerulean and defeated Misty with Headbutt only.
Defeated everyone from Bill's House especially the Rival and got the ticket for the cruise.
Realized I need a flier and caught Pidgey for my other HM Slave.
Ok, nothing much has happened from last time, last time I was training my pokemon to have a stand off against the first Galactic Executive Mars. Did that, and these are my current pokemon, as for now.

Soon I'll be heading to eterna forest and catch myself a Gastly, I'll probably send over an egg containing a weedle, a skorupi and a croagunk. The Dustox and Weedle (Beedrill won't be used in my elite 4 team probably, as I'll be planning to use Drapion as my bug/poison type there.)
And I'm still trying to evolve Budew.....preferably he'll evolve somewhere between 20 and 25. But we'll see about that right?
Defeated Rival in S. S. Anne.
Defeated Lt. Surge with Aurora Beams and Bubblebeams.
Cymbal evolved into a Dewgong.
Got through Rock Tunnel w/o Flash.
Got Fly and taught to Pidgey.
Defeated Team Rocket under the Game Corner and got Silph Scope.
Defeated Team Rocket in the Pokemon Tower in Lavender and got Poke Flute.
Went south of Lavender and got Super Rod.
Caught Shellder in Vermilion and used the Water Stone on him to evolve to Cloyster who I called Vhile.
Caught Poliwhirl in Celadon and traded it for a Jynx in Cerulean called Lola.
Trained Vhile and Lola.
Got Surf and Strength in Fuchsia.

Right now I'm going through Silph Co. where I will get Lapras and eventually finish the game. Pokemon Red is easy and I should have no problem.
I just have one question. Are we allowed to have more than one of the same species of Pokemon? Mainly for the slightly rarer types like fire, which I believe you can only get 5 of in Platinum.
Anyway I'll do a Platinum Normal Type.
Can i use my starter for the first gym since normal doesn't do well AT ALL against rock?
-went throught union cave to azelia town where bugzy and the rockets were defeated but my zubat without much trouble.
-got to goldenrod where whiteny wasnt too distracted by my shiny zubat in all its glory. she stomped it into the ground (quite literally, damn milktank) along with the rest of my team.
-grinded until almost everyone in my team evolved. then went back and beat whitney
-walked all the way back to new bark to show stupid prof. elm togepi. but on the way back i ran into another freakin shiny! i was all like "jesus tap dancing, puppy punting, bungie jumping, fire breathing Christ!" and thats how i got to have two shinies in my party =D (i replaced my old weepinbell with the shiny one cause its freakin shiny and it has a better nature)
anyways my team before i go fight the ghost gym leader guy.

Yeah, you can use as many as you want. I'm planning on doing Sinnoh of my Ultimate Normal run with a Staraptor and two Bibarels. 3 if you count that one is an HM slave...
Unfortunately, you may not use your starter for the first gym. I know its hard, but just think of the poor RBY Electric runners. They don't even get a STAB bonus for Pika's Quick Attack.
If I were you, I'd get a Bidoof, and get it to level 15, where it evolves and learns Water Gun. That should do it.

- Brutalised Team Galactic (I swear they were tougher in Platinum)
- Headed to Hearthome, dropped by the Contest Hall
- Went to Solaceon, rode around a bit
- On the way to Veilstone Cleffa evolved
- Caught Girafarig
Staravia took Meditite down in 3 turns (bloody hyper potions), Girafarig took Machoke down in 3 turns (see above), Girafarig got 1 shotted by Lucario's force palm(crit) and Staravia managed to do about 30% of it's health before fainting...Buneary finished it off with Jump Kick.
- Helped Dawn get her pokedex back from Team Galactic
- Got HM02, taught it to Staravia
- Went South to Pastoria
- Headed to the gym.
Next Time! Crasher Wake and a mysterious 'package'.

Yes! I completed Pokemon Red with the Ice Monotype Challenge. This is suppose to be the Ultimate Ice Monotype Challenge so I'll start Pokemon Crystal with this challenge tomorrow. I'll need to cheat for a different Pokemon in Crystal. I made a reference to Bullet 10 in the rules just in case I'm thought to have broken the rule. It's unfair to have to wait for the Ice Cave even on the Ice Monotype Challenge. That's almost half of the game when I get almost my whole team. So...
Is it alright for me to hack in a low-leveled ice Pokemon?
The species?...Well I need to think about that tomorrow.
I'm so angry! I got all the way to Oreburgh, had a level 11 Bidoof and level 10 Starly, got through the Oreburgh mine part
AND FORGOT TO SAVE BEFORE TURNING IT OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been too busy with School and stuff to update, but here goes:
-Beat all 16 Kanto Gym Leaders
-Beat Red miraculously.
-Gold Complete
-Started Ruby with a Treecko(Went Fire/Red, Water/Gold, and now I still have a type disadvantage).
-Sped my way through the first part of the game(This is not an Emulator, so it wasn't as fast as possible)
-Caught a Male Bold Geodude and named him BOULDER in Dewford Cave
-Caught a Male Naive Aron and named him IRONHIDE in the same place
-Got them both to Lv.18 and defeated Brawly with quite a bit of difficulty
-Got them both to Lv.20 and defeated May, again with a bit of difficulty
-Got them both to Lv.25, with BOULDER evolving, and defeated Watson
-Got BOULDER to Lv.28, and IRONHIDE to Lv.26
-Caught a Male Bold Slugma in the Fiery Path and named him MAGMA
-Began the painstakingly slow training of MAGMA
-BOULDER reached Lv.29 due to an accident, and I finally got around to trading him to evolve
-IRONHIDE reached Lv.28, and MAGMA reached Lv.24 by the time I got to Meteor Falls
Short update: Made it to Snowpoint. Now to hunt for a Female Snorunt...
Also, Arnold, you should be fine. Since you're doing an Ultimate, I don't control the rules, but honestly, I think its more cheating to not get an Ice Pokemon until that late in the game, because Typhlosion can solo the game rather easily imo w/ Flame Wheel and Thunderpunch.
Well, since my Normal one didn't go to well, I'll do fire, and come back to normal after I do all the other types. I will still do Platinum.
How do I put the Userbar in my sig?
Lol, don't forget to erase the save data this time, Weavile. To get the Userbar, right click it and hit "Copy image location". Then go to your sig and click the little image picture (either has a mountain, a tree, or something similar). Paste the thing you copied there, and you should be good to go.
