UPDATE: Okay, I've managed to do it (thanks Lord Storm!), so here's proof of my Ruby Hall of Fame and screenshots from my trip through Sinnoh. Unfortunately, Kanto/Johto were done on my nds, and so pics wwere taken on my iPhone. For some reason I can't copy them to my computer without a watermark across them, but these should do.

Oh yeah, plus my 3 HM slaves who I forgot to take a SS of

OK, another USC over! Titan, AKA the best Nidoking ever, destroyed everything and added a new Pokémon to my list of favorites.

I think I last left off at the Galactic HQ...
-Got the Warehouse Key from Looker
-Entered the warehouse and found the other key
-Entered the main HQ building
-Witnessed Cyrus's speech (he's a nut, but a damn good public speaker)
-Battled and easily beat Cyrus
-Defeated Saturn again and freed the lake Pokémon
-Climbed Mt. Coronet, destroying all who stood in my way
-Beat Mars and Jupiter, with barely any help from my rival
-Saw Cyrus, Dialga and Palkia, the three lake Pokémon, and Giratina appear
-Entered the Distortion world with Cynthia
-Wandered through there until I found Cyrus (that place is trippin' balls, man)
-Beat Cyrus AGAIN
-Captured Giratina for no reason (BTW, only used one Dusk Ball. Yeah.)
-Traveled to Sunyshore
-Found Volkner and followed him back to the Gym
-Whipped his ass with Earthquake to get his badge
-Got HM07
-Surfed to Victory Road
-Traversed that place (I could've done it blindfolded. It's probably the most straightforward Victory Road since Gold/Silver/Crystal.)
-Defeated my rival quite easily
-Took on the Elite Four
-Aaron: Mostly Thunderbolt/Shadow Ball
-Bertha: Surf
-Flint: Also Surf with an Earthquake or two
-Will: Shadow Ball
-Cynthia: Thunderbolt came in handy, but her stupid Milotic was like "LOL TANK" and used Mirror Coat on me, so I switched to an HM slave, Max Revived Titan, and went "LOL THUNDERBOLT" to it. Everything else was easy.

And that does it, I'm finished with my Nidoking USC!

But not for long... I'm in the mood for another. I'LL BE BACK!

I'm starting a solo Rapidash run on LeafGreen, and probably the ultimate solo challenge then the Ultimate Solo Challenge on probably Heart Gold, Ruby, and Pearl. Since it's one of my, if not my number one, favorite Pokemon.

EDIT: I began playing today since there was no homework. No school.

LeafGreen: Kanto Update #1

  • So, started a new game on LeafGreen, named myself Jess, my opponent Pip (I still don't understand how his own grandfather forgets his name; just goes to show how special he is), and picked a Squirtle and named him Chad. He'll be one of my HM Slaves for Surf mwahaha. I went through all the usual, with Pip being a complete jerkface but that's okay since I'll own his butt later.

  • After I got the Pokeballs, I used the Rapidash code, went out and caught myself a Rapidash with Flash Fire because Run Away is quite useless. This took multiple tries and too many Pokeballs, but I managed. I got a level 4 female Rapidash with a Rash nature and named her Pylia, after a king in Greek mythology whose father was Hephaestus (yeah, I just liked the name, and it sounded a little like Pyro).

  • I began training her, and I must say, Ember was pretty darn good against all those Rattatas and Pidgeys. I never had to use Chad to save her or anything. After some time, I caught myself a Pidgey as another HM Slave and named him Kaze.

  • After Pylia got to level 11, I started falling asleep from training, so I decided to move on and beat Pip for the second time. Pylia 2HKO'd both his Pidgey and Bulbasaur and being a sore loser, Pip told me to stop dawdling. Okay.

  • I trained some more with Mankeys and stuff, and then moved on to Viridian Forest with Pylia at level 13. Some old man stopped me on the way, assumed I was a nub, and taught me how to catch Pokemon. Thanks dude.

  • So I made it through Viridian Forest completely fine (although at the end Pylia got paralyzed by a Pikachu's Static). I found four Pikachus, and two in a row though, and I was so tempted to catch one…but I didn't. Then I went to Pewter City to beat Brock. Wewt. Level 17 aww yeeah.

  • I entered Pewter City Gym: Pylia 2HKO'd both the Jr. Trainer's Pokemon, did the same to Brock's Geodude. Pylia had a harder time with Onyx, but not by much, and she barely took any damage. Oops, overleveled much? Anyway, finished with Pylia at level 18. Heh.

  • I continued on, beat all the trainers easily, then entered Mt. Moon, where I used Chad to catch a Paras for my third and last HM Slave. I named him Herbie.

  • After I got out into the sun, I immediately went to beat Pip again, owned him, went through all the trainers on the Nugget Bridge and in front of Bill's House. I found TM43, Secret Power, behind some trainer and taught it to Pylia. This proved very handy.

  • With Pylia at level 27, I went into Cerulean Gym and expected to get beat by Misty several times, but nope, Secret Power worked very well. One hit and both Staryu and Starmie were down. Uh, yeah, probably overleveled. Well…I got my Cascadebadge!

  • I continued on to Vermillion after getting Dig (useless to me probably) and on the way there, trained to level 30. After returning from Cerulean, where I got my bike, I boarded the S.S. Anne and am about to start the cabin battles.

Team:

♀ L.30 Pylia – Rapidash – Rash – Flash Fire
Quick Attack
Ember
Secret Power
Stomp

♂ L.7 Chad – Squirtle – Impish – Torrent
Tackle
Tail Whip
Bubble

♂ L.3 Kaze – Pidgey – Naughty – Keen Eye
Tackle

♂ L.7 Herbie – Paras – Bashful – Effect Spore
Scratch
Stun Spore

Drum roll please everyone! This is the start of an all new Ultimate Solo Challenge! And this time, the partner accompanying me will be.....

Spoiler:

Unnecessary spoiler is unnecessary. Anyways! This time, my partner and I will be playing through Leaf Green, then Heart Gold (UNLESS Shiny Gold is an acceptable alternative, seeing as I don't want to go through all the trouble and LAGGING of using a Heart Gold ROM again), then Sapphire, and finally Pearl.

So, first update!
-Got Katana from Oak and beat my rival, who I named Troll, cause he's always acting like one, and his Bulbasaur
-Got Oak's Parcel, delivered it, got the Dex, and did some heavy grinding
-Beat Troll again on Route 22 or whatever it is
-Strode leisurely through the Viridian Forest and arrived in Pewter
-Did more grinding until Katana was at level 16 or so
-Battled Brock and barely beat him (Swords Dance twice, then Fury Cutter spam is a delightfully simple but effective strategy)
-Got the Boulder Badge and left for Cerulean
-Received the running shoes (about time, walking everywhere is too slow)
-Beat shorts dude (ah, memories...)
-Entered Mt. Moon
-Did more grinding up to level 21
-Blew through the cave and arrived in Cerulean not too long after (also, I just realized that the mappers at Nintendo did a horrible job with the bottom floor; no border tiles or well defined walls? I am disappoint.)
-Beat Troll with Slash
-Beat Misty with Swords Dance and Slash and got the Cascade badge
-Got my Nugget from the Nugget Bridge and beat the Rocket grunt in disguise
-Helped Bill return to normal and got SS Anne tickets
-Beat up a Rocket grunt
-Traveled to Vermillion City
-Got on the SS Anne
-Defeated Troll again, much to his displeasure
-Got HM01
-Left the ship
-Entered the Gym at level 34
-Dug through trash until I found two switches
-Slashed through Lt. Surge's team easily and got the Thunder badge
-Went through Diglett's Tunnel and got HM05
-Ran back to Cerulean

And that's the first update. Next up is Rock Tunnel and then to Celadon!

EDIT: Update number two!
-Left for Rock Tunnel
-Traversed it and exited into Lavender Town
-Headed west to Celadon City
-Got HM02
-Entered Erika's Gym
-Defeated Erika using Slash and Aerial Ace to get the Rainbow badge
-Discovered the secret Rocket base
-Met Giovanni and destroyed his team with Brick Break
-Got the Silph Scope
-Got the tea and gave it to the Saffron gate guards
-Entered Saffron City
-Defeated the Fighting Dojo on the way through
-Returned to Lavender
-Entered the Pokémon Tower
-Beat Troll again with just Slash
-Exorcised a bunch of freaky ladies
-Put a Marowak's soul to rest
-Beat the Rocket grunts out and met Mr. Fuji
-Got the Poké Flute from him
-Woke Snorlax up and beat it
-Walked all the way south to Fuchsia City
-Entered the Safari Zone and found the Gold Teeth
-Received HM03 and HM04
-Entered Koga's Gym
-Beat him easily thanks to Katana's Immunity and a Swords Dance/Slash combo
-Got the Soul(?) badge

And that's the end of update two.

Well, yesterday marked the conclusion of my Lickitung/Lickilicky USC, and today I have started another with:

Trixie the Mawile!

Going to go with Leaf Green, Soul Silver, Ruby and then Pearl

So, here's what has happened so far on LG:

-Used Advance Starter to replace Squirtle with Mawile
-Picked Mawile, a female with a quirky nature, ability Intimidate, and named her Trixie
-Defeated Moron's Bulbasaur with a few Astonishes
-Then realised that I couldn't train on Rt 1 since there are only Pidgeys/Rattatas, so off to Rt 22
-Grinded against wild monkeys... I mean Mankeys until she learnt Bite at lvl 11
-Got Oak's Parcel and delivered it, got a Pokedex from the old tree... Oak
-Moron told me his sis wouldn't give me a Map, so I cbf going and trying
-Went round to Rt 22 again and Bit Pidgey/Bulbasaur until they fainted
-Went through Viridian Forest (loling at Weedles who could only use String Shot), got Trixie to lvl 15
-Beat Brock's Gym with 7 Bites and a Fake Tears, taught Trixie Rock Tomb
-Youngster Ben and his shorts and the others defeated
-Healed at Mt Moon pokecentre, entered the cave
-Got through Mt Moon with no worries, Trixie learnt Vicegrip instead of Astonish and grew to lvl 24
-Saved before challenging Misty and couldn't beat her the first time, so went and trained against those north of Cerulean, and then re-challenged her lvl 28
-Beat her easily, then saved the game and stopped for the day

Hmm...would it be possible to turn my already completed Yellow Solo Challenge with my Dewgong into a Ultimate Solo Challenge?

Yes you can turn it into an ultimate solo Infernorogue. I am going to do a Emerlad 386 and Fire red omega solo run with Abra/Kadabra/Alakazam. However, i will teach it return with a TM, as otherwise it will lack any attacking moves.

Well, turns out that I wasn't quite done for the day :P So update time once again:
Last time, we left off just after I had beaten Misty.
-Defeated the rest of the trainers North of Cerulean and fixed Bill, got SS Ticket
-Defeated the Rocket and got TM 28, which apparently is incompatible with Mawile :(
-Went through beating all trainers North and East of Vermillion, then went to the SS Anne
-Battled everyone, taught Mawile Brick Break instead of Fake Tears from a TM, and replaced Bite with Crunch
-Beat Moron easily, got cut HM
th_Pokemonleafgreen_01.png

-Went through Vermillion Gym with ease, found the Hidden switches in the 4th and 5th bins I tried
-Crunched Lt Surge's team
th_Pokemonleafgreen_02.png

-Caught a Spearow which I then traded for Ch'ding the Farfetch'd, my Cut/Fly HM Slave
-Went and defeated all trainers on the way to Rock Tunnel, Trixie is now lvl 41
-Realised I'd forgotten to get my Bike, so went and did all that
-Decided to forego getting Flash, just bought a bunch of Repels and went through on memory
-Taught Trixie Rock Slide from the tutor in place of Rock Tomb
-Defeated Moron yet again
th_Pokemonleafgreen_04.png

-Defeated Erika with no sweat
th_Pokemonleafgreen_05.png

-Got the Coin Case, now need a LOT of coins so I can get the Ice Beam/Flamethrower TMs for later on
-Went through the Rocket Base beneath the Game Corner, beat Giovanni
th_Pokemonleafgreen_06.png

-Sold off a bunch of items/useless TMs, getting some more ca$h
-Got HM 02 Fly, taught to Ch'ding
-Calmed Cubone's mother
-Defeated the Grunts/rescued Mr Fuji
-Used the pokeflute to wake up the East of Vermillion Snorlax, which I then caught as a Surf/Strength HM Slave
th_Pokemonleafgreen_07.png

-Travelled down the route south of the Snorlax until I ran out of PP
-Went down Cycling Road defeating all bikers
-Went through Koga's Gym, hardest one yet

And I finished the Leaf Green portion of my Mawile USC. Have to say that I spent quite a bit longer than necessary playing this today, but oh well. Rather than describing what happened, I'll let the screenshots dictate the story. And at the end, check out what Oak says in response to my pokedex of 3 pokemon caught:

Update number three!

-Went up Cycling Road
-Flew to Saffron City
-Entered the Silph building and destroyed all Rocket freaks
-Beat Troll and Giovanni
-Exited Silph Co.
-Defeated Sabrina with Slash spam and got the Marsh badge
-Flew to Pallet Town and then surfed to Cinnabar Island
-Got the Secretkey in the burned mansion
-Entered Blaine's Gym and beat him with another spam session of Slash to get the Volcano badge
-Did all the crap on the islands
-Flew back to Viridian City
-Took on Giovanni in his Gym and kicked his evil ass to get the Earth badge
-Beat Troll on the way to Indigo Plateau
-Went through Victory Road
-Entered the Elite Four (with a level 100 Zangoose, bi-otch)
-Lorelei or whatever her name is: Brick Break spam
-Bruno: Aerial Ace/Brick Break
-Agatha: Aerial Ace/Slash
-Lance: Swords Dance, then Slash spam
-Troll: Swords Dance + Slash again

That's one down, three to go! By the way, is Shiny Gold an acceptable substitute for Heart Gold? The emulator was way too glitchy the last time I used it, and the lag was unbearable.

I'd like to start a solo challenge with Blastoise. It'll probably be an ultimate solo challenge, unless I get really sick of it after playing through Red. So far, it's looking like I'm going to be playing:

Red-->Gold-->Ruby-->Platinum

First update (Red Version):

-Picked Squirtle as my starter (obviously). Nicknamed it BLASTER.
-Did the beginning-of-the-game stuff, including defeating my rival twice.
-Blaster and I plowed through Viridian Forest.
-Blew through the gym easily. One badge down!
-Blaster evolved into Wartortle!
-Traversed Mt. Moon and reached Cerulean City.
-Beat my rival and crossed Nugget Bridge.
-Beat Misty (Blaster is now at lvl. 30)
-Cleared the S.S. Anne, beat my rival again, and got Cut.
-Caught an Oddish to teach Cut to.
-Beat Lt. Surge. Blaster evolved into Blastoise.
-Stumbled through Rock Tunnel and successfully reached Lavender Town.
-Defeated Erika (with help from the new Ice Beam TM I got from the girl in the department store)
-Cleared the tower in Lavender Town and got the Pokeflute
-Climbed the Silph building, defeated my rival again (with the 1/256 chance of any attack missing happening twice in a row), and defeated Giovanni. Also picked up a Lapras.
-Defeated Sabrina
-Got HM02, caught a Spearow to use it with, and defeated Snorlax before hurrying along to Fuschia City
-Got HM03 and HM04
-Defeated Koga
-Got the Secret Key from the Cinnabar Mansion and defeated Blaine with ease
-Beat Giovanni easily as well. All eight badges down!
-Defeated my rival again and passed through Victory Road
-Time for the Elite Four! I figure I might as well try using the rest of my rare candies to see how high-leveled I can get by the end of the Elite Four, as this run probably isn't going to be challenging regardless of what I do at this point.

The team entering the Elite Four:

BLASTER (Blastoise) lvl. 73
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Dig
-Body Slam

Oddish lvl. 15 (Cut)
Lapras lvl. 15 (Strength)
Spearow lvl. 20 (Fly)

Part 2: Elite Four Battle Details:

Lorelei: A mix of Dig and Body Slam take her down. I got confused by Lapras at one point, but fortunately, I only wasted one turn attacking myself.
Bruno: Surf x5 = victory
Agatha: I hate confusion, but fortunately, I didn't hurt myself at all. Mix of Dig, Surf, and Ice Beam take care of her.
Lance: Body Slam for Gyarados, Surf for Aerodactyl, Ice Beam for the rest.
Rival: Ice Beam for Pidgeot and Venusaur, Body Slam for Alakazam and Gyarados, Surf for Rhydon and Arcanine. Why does the game turn on animations for this battle if they're off, by the way?

Final details for Blastoise (the rest of the team hasn't changed):

BLASTER (Blastoise) lvl. 76
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Dig
-Body Slam

Game time: 12:35 (with a lot of wall collisions)

Reflections: Ah, the memories. My original Red playthrough was pretty much a Blastoise Solo Run, though this one was a lot easier, with the better moveset, etc. If I can figure out how to hack Squirtle into the later games, I think I'll continue this challenge as an ultimate solo run.

Next up: Gold Version!

Alright, moving on to the next game, which I am changing to Soul Silver after much inner debate. Mainly because 1) I felt that using Shiny Gold was a bit of a cop out, and plus it's not even done up past Red (I think) and 2) I couldn't find a working ROM for Heart Gold, but since I have one for Soul Silver already, I'll just use it.

-Did the intro
-Got a Totodile for water HMs
-Got Zangoose
-Picked up the egg
-Battled the rival and won easily
-Delivered the egg and named my rival Ginger (it's supposed be GingerTits, but that was too long)
-Ran to Violet City
-Beat everyone in Sprout Tower and got Flash
-Entered Falkner's Gym and beat him with Quick Attack to get the Zephyr badge (coolest badge ever, in the naming and the design)
-Was forced to take the egg
-Traveled through Union Cave to Azalea Town
-Met Kurt and entered the well
-Beat up all the Rocket losers in there
-Entered Bugsy's Gym and beat him/her (I honestly don't know) with Slash to get the Hive badge
-Battled GingerTits again, but his Ghastly was a pain in the ass; not having any moves that affect it other than Fury Cutter sucks
-Saved at the entrance to the Ilex Forest

Update two will (hopefully) be coming tomorrow, depending on school situations and homework.

Blastoise Solo Challenge Section 2: Gold Version

I figured out how to hack Squirtle in as a wild catchable Pokemon on Route 29, so I have my team for the next challenge. It was actually surprisingly hard to catch (had it in the red, yet still took 10+ pokeballs), but then again, it's not like I've ever tried to catch a wild Squirtle before. So, without further ado, here are the details on the start of my Gold Version challenge.

-Chose Totodile as a starter (for HMs) and completed pre-pokeball activities
-Caught Squirtle (BLASTER) on Route 29
-Cleared the Sprout Tower
-Won my first badge at the gym
-While progressing southward, Blaster evolved into Wartortle
-Passed through Union Cave and cleared Team Rocket out of the Slowpoke Well
-Defeated Bugsy
-Defeated Rival
-Got HM01 Cut (taught to Totodile), Headbutt, and passed through Ilex Forest
-Defeated Whitney and got the Squirtbottle
-Caught Sudowoodo
-Defeated Rival again in Ecruteak City
-Won HM03 Surf and taught it to Blaster
-Beat Morty
-Blaster evolved into Blastoise
-Got HM04 Strength

The Team:

BLASTER (Blastoise) lvl. 37
-Surf
-Ice Punch
-Bite
-Headbutt

Totodile lvl. 9 (Cut)
Togepi lvl. 5
Sudowoodo lvl. 20
