I adore feminine Pokemon, they should never be underestimated. Their strong, elegant and really know how to express their power! Their designs are stunning and some of my absolute favourites are feminine Pokemon.

Answer to the topic: ...Girls are awesome, and by extension femininity is awesome!~ ...By default, anyway. o_o; There's something very satisfying about using girly pokemon, just as there's something very satisfying about using terrifying pokemon! I like to imagine that my Lopunny knows the moves Shoryuken Sky Uppercut and Hadouken Focus Blast and other such cool moves. That is not a bunny you want to snack on--Oor maybe you do.

That is not a bunny you want to provoke~

Imo, feminine Pokemon are the best. They're all so cute and adorable and not to forget strong. :)

What would you have to say about gender-exclusive moves if they were to exist?
If there were gender-exclusive moves, feminine Pokemon better get some of the strongest moves. You can't have the masculine Pokemon to be the only ones to have the stronger moves. :)

Answer to the topic: If there were gender-exclusive moves, I'd definitely want the females to get the better moves. We can't have males being portrayed as tough.

Answering the topic:

Yes, in my early days of playing Pokemon gender did matter when it came to what Pokemon to use. I only catch male Pokemon if it looks male, same with female-looking Pokemon.

In fact, prior to Black and White I only caught female Pokemon unless if it was genderless or had a gender ratio leaning towards male. I even got a female Mudkip in Ruby on my first ever playthrough so I wanted to have a female-only team back then.

Gender has always played a part of my search for Pokemon to add to my team. I always look for Females, unless I'm looking for Genderless/Male-only Pokemon. The only reason I look for Male Pokemon is for breeding purposes.
