You have to use all four series... Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh.

No, I meant that's what I'll start with. It makes me feel more relaxed starting with the one i'm best with.

*sighs* Read the rules on the first page. You go in this order:

Kanto - Johto(kanto) - Hoenn - Sinnoh

You do not start with Hoenn, you start with Kanto!

Well, whatever. Time to pick up my Blue again...

i havent been up to date for the past few days so its a long one

went through ilex forest and got an exeggcute on my third headbutt SOOOO LUCKY
then went to goldenrod

went to the park and caught sunkern

caught ditto

breeded exeggcute with ditto for a female one
used daycare to lvl up sunkern to the point it had synthesis and mega drain then bred it with exeggcute and got an exeggcute with those same attacks (took ages to lvl up sunkern that way)

and couldnt find any abra so got one at game corner, then in its forst wild battle out came an abra &*$%£$""£^&

and bought some tm's for abra not only for attacks before evolving but as part of the end moveset

Hey, I was wondering if I can use videos to keep logs of my progress? I am thinking of doing a Lets Play and this would be fun to do at the same time. Anything not addressed in the video would be addressed in comment below the link in my post.

I'm ashamed to admit that I had actually given up on this challenge, just as I was facing the Sinnoh Elite Four. Therefore, I haven't played for several weeks. However, today I decided to give it a shot - Once again. Here goes.

6th Sinnoh entry
Version: Platinum
Type: Fire

After having realized that Bertha was just way too mean, I decided to go catch myself yet another Houndour and train it.

..Stupid idea.

As that didn't work out and took way too much time, I chose to train mainly my Infernape and my first Houndoom. After having grinded them both up to around level 80, I decided to take on the Elite Four once again.

Aaron was a joke.
Bertha was still the toughest of them, but still rather easily defeated.
Flint was pretty easy, too.
Lucian was pretty much a joke, too. I knocked them all out in one hit.
Cynthia wasn't too much of a challenge, either. Although I have to admit, I was a bit lucky. Every single time (That'd be 3 times) I used Dark Pulse on her Garchomp, it flinched.

So.. I finally did it, although I didn't become the first Fire-type Champion. :P

Started the challenge.
Defeated Rival's Eevee with ease.
Caught a level 3 Caterpie and trained it to level 10 in which it evolved into a Butterfree.
Caught a level 8 Pidgey.
Defeated Rival for the second time.
Deposited Pikachu
Swept through Viridian Forest.
Defeated Brock.

Obtained a Level 5 Magikarp for $500.

Went through Mt. Moon and defeated Team Rocket easily.
Obtained a Helix Fossil (Not that it matters).
Defeated Jessie and James.
Exited Mt. Moon.
Defeated Rival and stormed through Nugget Bridge.
Recieved a Level 10 Charmander.
Obtained the S.S. Ticket from Bill.
Went back to Cerulean and Defeated Misty.
Zubat evolved into Golbat.
