Sandstall team

Another team of mine. While my other team is mostly offensive, this one is... well there is no word, pen or keyboard can describe the trollness of this trolling team. But it still be outtroll by Hax the Jirachi. Any advice would be great.

Trolling in the deep!!! Trolling to the death!!!

Gliscor needs to be more defensive, since that's what it does best. Plus, the lack of STAB hurts. Use an Impish nature and this EV spread: 252 HP/184 Def/72 Spe, and replace Ice Fang with Earthquake. Toxic damage can add up rather quickly, so there are times when Gliscor doesn't even need to attack to take down the opponent. Or, since this is a Sandstorm team, you can take a more offensive approach:
-Swords Dance
-Earthquake
-Acrobatics
-Substitute
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 Spe
Item: Flying Gem
Ability: Sand Veil

Skarmory needs to be Impish or Careful; being Hardy does it no favors. At all.

On Vaporeon, replace Brine with Ice Beam or Toxic. It's not worth it, and the extra coverage or utility is more useful. Use a Bold nature and 248 HP/252 Def/8 SDef to help its physical bulk, since its Special bulk is pretty good already.


Hippowdon is better off with a physically defensive spread (Impish, 252 HP/4 Atk/252 Def) because its Special bulk is poor even with investment.

You already have Vaporeon and others to support the team, so Swampert is pretty much dead weight. I'll let someone else suggest something to replace it, since I can't figure out which one to replace at the top of my head atm.

Needs a Spin Blocker or you basically waste your time with this team, put a ghost over Hippowdon as its role overlaps with Swampert anyway, Jellicent would suffice.

96 Speed evs to outspeed Scizor and as thus stop Volt Turn teams decently.

Forry with one attack move absolutely sucks, especially when that move is volt switch which is so easy to stop its hilarious. Ive seen a team swept by Sub Hone Claws Dugtrio because of how terrible it is setting up +6+6 on mono attack V-Switch Forry. Use Gyro Ball over Spikes (which you already have on Skarm), Leftovers as Red Card strips it of recovery, Relaxed to power up Gyro Ball with 0 speed iv.

Earthquake>>>>>>Scald on Swampert. Its Swamperts best STAB move, plus you have status elsewhere. Needs 240 HP / 216 Def / 54 Sp.Def @ Relaxed to actually beat things like Dragonite.

Gliscor with no STAB move is just...no.

Imo, much better.

Skarm wants Brave Bird over Toxic, mainly to nail Breloom and Conkeldurr. 252 HP / 120 Def / 72 Sp.Def / 64 Speed. Ev spread lets you outspeed Bulk Up Breloom and never be 2hko'd by DD LO Outrage from Haxorus, Impish Nature also. You also need a Shed Shell to not be pooped upon by Magnezone and as thus Drag + Mag teams.
