Combined Pokemon Solo Challenge Thread

FIRST UPDATE:

-Started the game out by using codes to catch Kangaskhan.
-Made my way to Brock and defeated him easily.
-Beat Misty
-Beat my Rival on Nugget Bride
-Cleared the SS Anne a long with my rival
-Caught Meowth(HM Cut Slave)
-Took down LT. Surge.

Challenge: Single
Game(s): Pokemon Yellow upgrade V2.0, it's the normal Yellow version except it allows all pokemons to evolve without trading and has some before unavailable pokemons in wild, e.g wartotle or weedle.

Beat Rival at route 22.
Leveled Pikachu to level 20 in ViridianForest,
Beat Brock.
Entered Mt.Moon at around level 23.
Beat Misty at level 26.
Beat Rival at level 27.
Cleared the bridge, didn't use the money bug - 0 white outs.

Total white outs: 1 - I died at level 8, forgot pots xD. I played without Revives, Pikachu's death = white out. Too damn easy.

Last night after I signed up I used universal randomizer to make mew my starter and I just got cut so I am on my way to the third gym. ;P

Hey, could you put my Venusaur Ultimate challenge on hold? I haven't had alot of time because of my Monotypes, but I have started, and have 4 Badges.

Hello, I would like to undertake the challenge, however right now I only have VBA to use, I will try a DS emulator, but with my current motherboard/lack of a DS I'm sure Ill have to wait for awhile finish the DS version. I may acquire a DS here soon though, so this may be solved.

Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that I've resumed my solo challenge with Venusaur. Also, I've beaten Red, Crystal, and Ruby already, but was not able to update it (lack of Internet). Lastly, I've started Pearl version, but my Ivysaur won't listen to me and it's annoying. I know there's nothing I can do about it, though. I will give you updates as soon as I can. Bye!

I think that I might as well do a ultimate challenge, so here is my sign-up: Pokemon of choice- Meganium; Game(s): LeafGreen, Soulsilver, Sapphire, Platinum, White: Challenge: Ultimate. This works perfectly alongside my Ultimate Fire monotype, because I'm starting Crystal for that, and with this series, I'm starting with SoulSilver. I look forward to starting this soon.

Ok, so my old challenge kind of got abandoned, so I'm going to sign up with a different one!

I don't know much about glitch Pokemon but I'd say go for it! It seems like it would be a very interesting challenge! :)

EDIT: I made some more progress for my challenge.

After some intense grinding I got my smoochum up to level 37 before challenging the gym.
I didn't evolve it yet so it can learn Psychic because I'd have to wait a really long time before I can get the TM for it.
Then I challenged Elesa and evolved Smoochum after.

I'm going to look into catching some sort of glitchiness at a reasonable time into the game, but if I can't, I may just have to hack it in. But we'll see :)

Update #1: I didn't do much for my first update, but I felt like posting anyways, so, yeah. I started off the game like anyone always does. Does it look like I need help controlling my body?! Sorry beast but I wouldn't know, I use a laptop and not a tablet. And there's no need to pm me I check this thread most everyday so if you complete your challenges I'll definitely see it. :)

Alright, thanks James. As for my challenge, I have Update #2: I left off when I caught my HM slaves Pidgey and Rattata. Well, Korra was Lvl.8(forgot to mention that) and my rival's name is Tom(same as before), and Korra and I had a restful night, so we decided to continue. No more tutorials from stranger dangers, thank god. Korra was eager to see Violet City, and so was I. Korra killed every trainer's dream on Routes 30 and 31, wether it'd be using the awesome STAB Razor Leaf, or tackling them down like a football player would, there was no way to face Korra and win. From all that, Korra grew to Lvl.10. Then Kris, erm, I mean Lyra came in and gave me some Vs. Recorder crap, and walked off(she's giving me a dirty look, so I better watch how I talk about her). Anyway, in Violet City, I decided to go sightseeing in the Sprout Tower, and not only for that, but to get the so fabled tm flash that I'm going to sell the first moment I get. After a lot of wasting PP on tackle and defeating the elder, it was gym time. From Sprout Tower training, Korra grew to Lvl.14. The gym wasn't that challenging, until Falkner. He was insanely hard, and almost lost, but PoisonPowder was a big help. Eventually, both of his Pokemon died of poisoning, winning the ZephyrBadge(I think that is how you spell it). Korra was exhausted from battling, and I couldn't agree more, and luckily Falkner said he had a spare spot in his house. That is where Korra and I are at as of now. Oh, and did Imention that Korra evolved right after defeating Falkner? Now that Korra is a Bayleef, I hope that makes things a bit easier. But at the same time, Korra wants to eat every Pidgey and Pidgeotto on site(but preferrably Pidgeotto), which disgraces Falkner because he has lots of those at his house. Good thing Korra doesn't know that yet. Anyway, 1 badge down, 15 to go. Korra is Lvl.16, at Falkner's house kicking back and playing Xbox360 with him, he is a cool guy, I got to admit.
