Gender: Male
History: Not much of particular interest. Ryan has only lived in Sandgem for the past year. He was bullied when he was younger and consistently had problems making friends and keeping his grades up at school. As a reward for managing to struggle through his classes (however close he may have come to failing) and to try giving him a chance at finding some real confidence his parents moved them all to Sandgem to give him a fresh start. Unfortunately his fresh start hasn't amounted to much so far, mainly thanks to avoiding human interaction as much as possible.
Even when outside it's as if Ryan is hiding from the world, never leaving the house without his heavy dark gray hoodie - utterly lacking in any logos or decorations - and baggy, dark blue-jeans, leaving anyone who looks at him hard-pressed to even tell his body shape underneath it all, let alone see the bright amber eyes he hides under his hood.
Strengths: Ryan almost never acts without thinking first, which helps him avoid mistakes as long as it isn't a matter of charming anyone. A love of reading has helped develop Ryan's imagination as well as giving him a wide base of knowledge in his interests for his age(pokémon, trauma and gentle exercises most of all). Ryan's will and nerves are steel in the face of pokémon, he could stare down a charging Tauros without so much as flinching. As for people...
Weaknesses: Ryan is prone to intense social anxiety, constantly questioning everything he does involving other people and dwelling on the various negative thoughts he's sure he's inspiring in their heads. Despite his firm confidence in the things he believes he knows, Ryan doesn't have the slightest bit of confidence in himself and falters the second he's the subject of any discussion.

What are your goals?: Ryan dreams of one day opening a pair of "Pokérehab Resorts" where the best techniques, professionals and technology are used in conjunction with hand-picked, specially trained pokémon to provide both physical and psychological therapies to both people and pokémon of all kinds and maladies. If his resorts were a success Ryan would also endeavor to support various pokémon nature reserves as places for his non-human patients without trainers to live peacefully after they graduate from their therapy and/or rehabilitation.

HISTORYKurapika is a member of the Kurta Clan, a secret clan that has always seeked to remain isolated from the rest of the world because its members are known to have particular eyes that turn scarlet under strong emotions.
As a child, Kurapika was always looking for adventures and had an unsattiable thirst to discover the unknown until that day that changed everything: Kurapika almost fell from a cliff if not for the interference of their best friend, Pairo. While Kurapika was unharmed, Pairo had injured his legs and his eyes. Disabled and blind, his condition went worse everyday.
Deeply affected by this incident, the feeling of guilt made Kurapika decide to go to the outside world in order to bring back the best doctor to cure Pairo despite the strong opposition of the clan's elder.
This decision made things worse, much much worse than Kurapika could ever imagine! The town ended up discovered because of Kurapika and all of its people were assassinated by a mischeavous band who coveted the scarlet eyes of the Kurta Clan!
Kurapika sank in tears and despair.STRENGTHSScarlet Eyes - When a member of the Kurta Clan becomes enraged, their eyes turn a vivid shade of red, which triggers an amazing increase in physical strength. In this state, even as a child Kurapika could gain the upper hand in terms of speed and strength against three adults, and easily overpowered them.
Advanced Hearing - Kurapika has a keener sense of hearing than average humans, which enables to perceive revelatory sounds and overhear conversations others would miss.
Enhanced Agility - Kurapika can jump several meters in the air and hit the opponents from various angles with acrobatic moves without losing balance.
Master Strategist - Kurapika can formulate flawless plans even in combat to exploit the opponent's weaknesses to the fullest.
NVC Expert - Kurapika is adept at recognizing lies by looking at the interlocutor's eyes or by observing their body language.
Bilingual - While Kurapika's mother tongue is the language spoken by the Kurta Clan, learning the language used in the outside world at large was an easy task.

If left to Emmy herself, she'd say there's no history to be told. Nothing eventful happened, least of all anything that she was at the center of.
Spoiler:Emmy was born to Greg and Leanne Markab, in Sandgem Town. She is the middle of three children; the rest of her family is made up by her older brother Will and her younger sister Lia. As a result, Emmy was often overlooked somewhat. Will was the oldest, making everything he went through new for him as well as her parents, while Lia was ever true to her role as the baby sister, demanding attention and crying easily.

Strengths:

She likes to think so anyway. Since she was mostly left to figure things out by herself in later childhood, Emmy is very self-reliant, and actively avoids asking others for help if she can.
Still, she values the company and opinion of those close to her more than anything.
- Empathetic
Though she might try, Emmy can never bring herself to ignore the plight of others. Seeing another creature hurt - be it human or Pokémon - makes her feel bad in turn, and creates a strong want to help the one in need. At the same time, Emmy is wary of crocodile tears (looking at you Lia) and hates feeling like she was taken advantage of even more.
Weaknesses:

The main thing plaguing Emmy is her lack of… well, a goal. She honestly only decided to go on this journey because her older brother did it, most of her friends are doing it, and even her little sister keeps bugging her about it. She feels it's expected of her, too.
- Stubborn
Emmy is rather stuck in her own ways, and due to her introversion has few people that could change her view. In fact, she feels a need to stand out from 'normal' people to validate herself, to the point that she'll be contrary and sometimes outright rude to her peers.

What are your goals?:
Currently, Emmy's goal is simply to set out. She hopes the journey will bring her some insight in who she is and what she really wants to do. Emmy has always had an innate affinity with Pokémon however, so her first order of business will be to befriend and train her newly received Torchic.

Meiko Nanatsu 18 Years Old Female
Appearance: Meiko is a petite girl with medium length raven hair and short bangs, along with steel blue eyes. In the beginning, she wears a white dress shirt, magenta work skirt with white ruffles, black leggings, and brown boots, her usual outfit in her town, but when her Pokemon arrives and it's time to travel, she'll change her outfit to a steel grey high-waisted skirt with white tucked-in shirt and black collar(high waisted outfit), black zipped shirt combo(no undershirt), black tights, brown lanced boots, orange sea-star headband, and a cream ruffled shoulder bag. She wears a steel-blue bracelet that resembles clams put together with a colorful stone with a strange symbol being held in a orange heart shaped charm.

Spoiler:Meiko Nanatsu was an only child, but she was happy with her family, until the age of 5, when her mother died from a fatal illness. Her father slowly taught her how to do the chores, but when he went to Kalos one trip when she was 10, he took about 3 months to return and told her that he was going to take longer trips after making a new discovery in the region. Her father worked in the research industry, researching pokemon evolution. He had one of his helpers stay with his daughter to watch after her while he was gone. At first, the helper was a kind man who kept her company and made sure she was ok, but Meiko was wary of the man, not trusting him. She relied on herself and didn't let the man help her with anything, much less enter her room, locking it whenever she entered. At the age of 12, 2 years after her fathers discovery and the helpers constant stay, she still doesn't trust the man, just something about his go-lucky attitude doesn't sit right with her. He would constantly get close and say he was making sure she was ok and follow her when she went shopping to assure her she's safe. On her twelve birthday, Meiko was in her room reading a book about pokemon abilities, accidental leaving the room unlocked. What occured next won't be written, but i can say that the girl was traumatized. She gained a fear of being touched and trust issues, only trusting her father and deceased mother from that moment onward. Her father left one of his pokemon, an Empoleon, to sat with her instead of another helper.
Strengths: Benevolence, Intelligent, Observant, Self-Sufficient
Compassion/Benevolence - Meiko is a kind and gentle girl who won't hesitate to come to the aid of those in need. She loved to help others and won't hesitate to offer herself up. No matter how long it takes, she will finish her task to the very end, and rarely does she leave something unfinished.
Intelligent/Memory - Meiko is a very intelligent girl, having learned as much about Pokemon as she can, about their stats, abilities, moves, almost anything there is. She also put her time to knowing the different gym leaders and their specialties just in case she might fight the gym leaders. During summer schools, she would be ahead of the other students and defeat most of her opponents using what she knows about the Pokemon from memory, but she does tend to overthink sometimes.
Observant - She may not interact with other people as much as wanted, but that doesn't mean she doesn't observe. She'll watch others talk and listen to their conversation, learning about how to speak to others in that way.
Self-Sufficient - Meiko had to learn to live by herself and take over the responsibilities when her mother died and her father's trips took longer periods of time. After her mothers death, her father would help out at times, but when he discovered something, he left the house for weeks or even months before returning, leaving her to fend for herself in that period of time. She had to learn to cook for herself, clean the house, wash/dry the clothes, wash dishes, and do the groceries.
Weaknesses: Repress, Stubborn, Aphenphosmphobia
Keeps to herself - Meiko tends to keep her thoughts, ideas, and feelings to herself when around humans/people, not wanting to show weakness in front of strangers. She'll turn away others concern and act as if everything is alright, but her pokemon friends know her too well.
Stubborn - She'll help others, but she won't accept help from others, preferring to shoulder her burdens on her own, believing that her problems are hers alone to handle, as she is used to doing everything on her own. Once she decides on something, she'll stay with that idea until said otherwise, refusing to back down without a good reason. This is bad especially when someone ask about her physical/mental health or if she needs help, she'll do everything in her power to refuse and reply with an "ok", refusing to show weakness.
Trust Issues - Ever since the incident on her twelveth birthday, she lost her trust on basically every human except her father and deceased mother. She became more aware and wary of eveyone around her whenever she went outside her house, at some times, paranoid even.
Aphenphosmphobia - Meiko has feared of being touched by humans/people ever since the incident with her father's ex-assistant. Pokemon she's ok with, but people are a whole different story. She'll shy away from physical touch and distance herself from people who tend to be too touchy.

Her second goal is to find her father and figure out why he left (traveled for long periods), or what his new profession is.
Zack Winchester
"Zack Winchester is a young man, roughly seventeen years of age. He hails from a rather wealthy family. His father, Leonard Winchester, happens to be a big time producer down at the Jubilife Television studio. His mother, Ashley Winchester, just so happens to be one of the station's leading newscasters. Despite the fact that both parents make their living at the rather expansive city, the family has chosen to make their home in a rather impressive mansion located near the Valor Lakefront. As one might expect, the travel time combined with the constant buzz of being media elites have left both of the boy's parents away for most of the time. This left young Zack alone for the most part, often being raised and tended to by the hired staff that worked within the mansion."
"Zack is an only child. He attended a private academy while growing up, meaning that his interactions with other children his age was not very common. While there were other students who did attend the academy, Zack would often keep to himself. He found the lot to be rather boring and somewhat fake. As one would expect, this left the boy with a rather negative reputation around the academy. It was one that he seemed to care very little about, at times even seemed to embrace it. As he grew older, Zack became somewhat of a trouble maker, getting into fights and at times even outright skipping out on classes. This landed him in a hot seat on more than one occasion, with the headmaster even threatening to have him expelled in an attempt to try and salvage the school's reputation. That said, Zack's parents were always more than willing to throw some of their money at the problem... which worked just fine for the headmaster."

Besides, becoming a champion could always be interesting..."
Charlie The Charmander
"Charlie, as he's been dubbed by Zack, is quite possibly what one would consider to be Zack's only true friend. He was a gift presented to Zack by his father on his sixteenth birthday when he returned home briefly from a business trip overseas in the Kanto region. Full of energy and quite the mischievous creature, Charlie initially started as quite the thorn in Zack's side. Despite this however, the Pokémon has always seemingly been obsessed with Zack, wanting to be by the boy's side whenever possible."
"As time went on, a bond of sorts did begin to form between the two. Zack began to see Charlie as someone he could come to for comfort, as someone he could vent his frustrations to or just find solace in when his world became to stressful. In Charlie's case, Zack was a fun friend who would take him outside and play with him whenever he was bored. It came to no one's surprise that when Zack ran away from home, Charlie was hot on heels and accompanied the young man."

While the boy has yet to truly begin training the Charmander properly, the Pokémon does have at the very least the basics in terms of moves, along with a technique that Zack can only assume came from breeding. Strengths:
- Ambitious overachiever: Estelle is a responsible young woman with a mind ready to be stimulated. Ambition and success drive her. Motivate her. When problems or tasks arise Estelle tackles them in that instant or as soon as they emerge. In addition the lady is willing to go the extra mile to perform at 110%. But she worked slowly, accepting nothing short of perfection.
- Optimismic: Despite it all, Estelle carries a sense of optimism that allows her to keep going obstacle after obstacle. But do not let this demeanor fool you. Estelle is a fragile and sensitive woman who refuses to acknowledge such stress is present. Perhaps that might be why she speaks to her dolls and objects.
-Patient: And she carries plenty of it. An open-minded individual who believes everybody has their history and reasons for their actions, even though she may not be so eager to agree. As such she carries a good temper, having been raised to believe that who gets angered first is the one who loses.
Weaknesses:
- Coward: The woman fears water for she cannot swim. Or heights. Large bugs as well. Oh, and the pitch black. Very tight spaces. Were she not too much of a coward then perhaps she wouldn't avoid conflict or be sitting on the fence the majority of the time instead of stating her true beliefs.
- Conceited: She may not admit it, but the young adult thinks highly of herself as a result of the years of accomplishments and praise. Having grown focusing on bettering herself and collecting achievements like one collects Pokémon, it is no surprise she is somewhat vain.
- Hermit: However her social life suffered to the point of being nonexistent. Thus her family is all she believes she needs and as a result puts them above everything else. This has caused Estelle to come off as clingy, awkward, a worrywart, and not to forget jealous and envious. That isn't to say she won't make friends; she's quite a pleasure to talk to. Unfortunately she isn't quite interested in keeping friendships alive.
What are your goals?:
Her ultimate goal is to meet the creator of the entire Pokémon world; Arceus.
From a young age Estelle has acquired a desire for the legendaries of the Pokémon World, most notably that of her home region Sinnoh. All she seeks is to be in their presence, to indulge in their grandeur and chronicle such creatures into her list of accomplished dreams. Whether it is a picture or souvenir, she wishes to keep the memory.
Along the way she ambitions to better herself as a Pokémon trainer, fully aware that such a daunting goal isn't without its obstacles. Wild encounters, rivals, and perhaps even an aggressive legendary may require some knowledge in Pokémon battles. As such, Estelle will partake in conquering the Sinnoh league to prepare herself in case such skills are of desperate need.
Also, she loves to bake, thus will be seen experimenting on such.

Strengths:
Compassionate: Brimming with energy and excitement, Laura goes about life with an almost childlike innocence. The young woman is an extremely kindhearted and compassionate individual, invariably considerate to others. She has a positive outlook on everything and can find the bright side of circumstances that otherwise would have been absolutely devastating. This makes her rather likeable and charismatic, being able to strike up friends wherever she goes.
Willpower: Quitting is one word that doesn't fit into the young trainer's vocabulary. Though she may fail at first, she is hardworking and headstrong, sometimes to a fault. She goes about her life in a driven fashion, not taking shortcuts in anything.
Knowledgeable: Spending much of her spare time devouring whatever published material she can find covering pokemon research, Laura has has an incredible knowledge when it comes to the in's and out's of the various creatures. She idolizes Professor Oak of the Kanto region and hopes to one day become a lab assistant to him.
Weaknesses:
Airheaded: Despite how intelligent she is on a number of topics, Laura can be rather aloof and absent minded. This causes many things to go over her head and makes her seem a bit dull. In spite of her high intellect, she is rather oblivious to matters of common sense and street knowledge.
Gullible: As a result of her childlike innocence and positive outlook, she's a bit too trusting and is often willing to give strangers the benefit of the doubt, believing all people to be inherently good.
Inexperienced: Though she knows quite a bit about pokemon battling from her studies, Laura has never put her knowledge to practice, so she's quite inexperienced when it comes to combat. She has a general idea of certain tactics, but at the end of the day doesn't necessarily know how to put them into play.
Goals:
Laura's biggest dream is to one day become the leading pokemon professor of a region, in the same vein as Professor Oak or Rowan. She idolizes the former, having read all of his published work and hoping to one day work in his lab as an assistant. She spent much of her time in Sandgem Town shadowing Rowan around, helping him with whatever menial tasks he needed in order to learn whatever she could from the experienced researcher. In taking this journey, both she and Rowan hope that her knowledge grows exponentially through practice and experiencing everything she's learned from her books firsthand.

Strengths: Violetta is known for her bubbly, outgoing personality. She has excellent communications skills and can strike up conversations with new people easily. She doesn't have a shy bone in her body! Another one of Violetta's aptitudes is her ability to make others laugh, she is quite aloof and comical, cracking jokes in any situation. She is carefree and has a zest for life that is rather admirable. Violetta's artful nature has stemmed from being brought up alongside three elder brothers, being the 4th out of 5 children, she had to get creative in order to receive attention and over the years has become rather imaginative. Despite her apparent rashness, Violetta is skillfull and has the ability to get herself out of pressing situations. She can be quite deceitful when necessary, as she knows how to manipulate others into believing her. One of Violetta's most notable strengths is her unwavering bravery. She boldly throws herself into situations in order to aid and protect others and is immensely protective of those close to her and has no issue defending them until the end. Violetta's devotion to those around her proves how undeniably compassionate and kindhearted she is.
Weaknesses: Violetta can come across as flippant and capricious, as she has an inability to take certain situations seriously. She may laugh at an inappropriate time, or completely disregard a consequential situation. Violetta is also reckless, impulsive, and at times, thoughtless. She often makes decisions without proper contemplation or analysis or without considering possible consequences. In this way, she may be perceived as juvenile. Furthermore, Violetta has an undesirable tendency to act on emotion, even if she attempts to conceal her feelings completely. Violetta is mischievous and is consistently finding herself in dire situations although she is cunning enough to get herself out of them (for the most part). Lastly, Violetta can be hotheaded and impetuous at times as she may lash out on people who harm her or her loved ones. Like an Ursaring, she is relatively docile but may be aggressive if continually provoked..
History: Violetta was born and raised in Snowpoint city. She has 3 older brothers, Indigo, Raven and Jett, and a younger sister named Lilac. Violetta's mother, Vianne, was a famous pokemon coordinator back in her early twenties, winning the esteemed Grand Festival a total of two times. She has been the biggest influence on Violetta, adamantly encouraging her to follow her dreams. Her father, Sterling, works in the mines located in Oreburgh city and is devoted to his job, meaning that he was solemnly home when Violetta was growing up. Due to this, Vianne raised her five children single-handedly, ensuring that they were all fed and clothed at all times. Violetta is immensely close with her mother and resides at home in order to assist her mother in taking care of her younger sibling, Lilac. The Marseille family is tight-knit and Violetta is close with all of her siblings, as they helped to raise and take care of one another. As of late, Vianne has been insistent that Violetta leaves and embarks on a journey as a coordinator, ensuring her daughter that she'll be fine on her own. Violetta is initially reluctant but her ambitiousness gets the best of her and so she complies.
Goals: Violetta dreams of becoming a top pokemon coordinator and she has minimal interest in pokemon battles. She also wants to learn about different types of pokemon in general and she desires to travel around Sinnoh and explore the diverse region.
