Plot
Darkrai is a Pokemon that roams the earth with the soul purpose of making peoples lives miserable. But one day, Darkrai went too far. One year ago, Darkrai plunged the Pokemon Universe into darkness. And now, it is run by Darkrai, his new partner Giratina and his group of radicals, Team Curse. Team Curse is an organization that was formed to serve Darkrai and Giratina. Its leader Abyss sees these two as his gods and he'll do anything to please them. The world is falling apart, and it seems that all hope is lost. Darkrai, Giratina and Team Curse must be stopped, before they send the world into udder chaos.

You, along with 5 others, are given the task of stopping Team Curse. The Professors of all the regions have been observing you and think you are the only people who can do it. When you arrive in Sinnoh, Aura readers will feel out your aura to see if you are truly gifted enough to save the world. The true reason you were called to do this difficult task. This was a predicted event and your parents were confronted by these aura readers the day you were born. Can you stop Abyss, Giratina, Team Curse and Darkrai? Personality: Kyle is one of the bravest people you would ever meet. He would give his own life for the ones he loves. This also shows that he's extremely caring. He has a strong sense of right over wrong but he has a certain disrespect for the rules. He's a rebel, but a good-guy sort of rebel. His greatest draw back however is his temper which gets him into a lot of trouble sometimes. To sum it all up, Kyle is a fantastic person to have on your side of the fight.
History: Kyle comes from a poor family from Littleroot Town in the Hoenn Region. His mother was a stay at home mom while his dad worked at the Pokemart in Oldale Town. To help his family stay alive financially, Kyle got a job working at the Professor Birch laboratory. When Kyle worked there, he realized his love for Pokemon. He would spend countless overtime hours just to do field work with Professor Birch. One day, Kyle received a letter stating that he was one of the 6 teens to be called to the darkness filled Sinnoh region. It stated that the 6 where needed urgently as the Sinnoh region was slowly falling apart. Kyle asked his parents who happily accepted. So, they bought him a cheap ticket to get a boat ride over to the Sinnoh region.

Personality: Combusken has a very high temper. He's easily ticked off and will go on a rampage when angry.
History: Combusken was given to Kyle as a Torchic in Littleroot Town, Hoenn. He was a present from Professor Birch and was given to Kyle because of Kyle's help around the lab. Kyle and Torchic where always together no matter what and Torchic was even afraid of evolving because he thought Kyle would reject him. But when it came time for him to evolve, Kyle was so thrilled.

Personality: Kirlia is quiet protective of the ones he loves. He's a born fighter and wants nothing to do with the arts like most Ralts do.
History: Kirlia was the first Pokemon Kyle caught. He met him at Route 104 in Hoenn, where he was being forced to dance with the other Ralts and Kirlia. Kirlia is a male, and enjoyed Pokemon battling more than dancing. So Kyle and Torchic battled him and won. Kyle then threw a Pokeball and captured him. He evolved from a Ralts into a Kirlia in a battle against a trainer in Dewford Town.

Personality: Brayden is very much a laid back individual, preferring not to take life too seriously. He strongly dislikes annoying or loudmouthed people, and when he's irked he'll usually silence his nuisances with a simple hand gesture. However, he deeply cares for his friends and Pokémon, helping them to the best of his ability in times of trouble. In battle, he's calm and composed, occasionally talking tough. He attempts to strategize every move he makes to ensure victory. He can occasionally be a romantic as well.
History: Brayden was born and raised in Lavender Town, in the Kanto region. His mother and father were both volunteers at the Pokémon Tower. As a young boy, Brayden would occasionally help his parents and their Pokémon, befriending them easily. On his thirteenth birthday, he received his first Pokémon as a gift – a Cubone from his father. Knowing that his father was once a revered Trainer, Brayden pleaded relentlessly to leave home and embark on a journey. His father finally accepted. After exploring the eastern part of the Kanto region over the course of a couple years, Brayden received an unusual letter while staying in Fuchsia City. He was instructed to board a boat to the faraway Sinnoh region, which was being consumed by an evil darkness. After inquiring with his parents about the possibility of a hoax via a payphone, they gave him their blessing. Therefore, he began his long trek to an unfamiliar region, with his two Pokémon.

Personality: Cubone, unlike most of his kind, is very headstrong and brave. In battle, he's relentless, refusing to give in to an opponent even if he's mere seconds away from fainting.
History: Brayden received Cubone as a gift from his father on his thirteenth birthday. At first, Cubone was mortified that Brayden would treat it poorly. However, their friendship flourished overtime, and they're currently inseparable.
Attacks: Ancientpower, Bonemerang, Focus Energy, Headbutt

Nickname: N/A
Personality: In contrast to the extrovert Cubone, Staryu is much more laidback, reflecting Brayden's personality. At times, it can occasionally be lazy and unmotivated. However, like Cubone, it does whatever it can to win a battle, no matter how difficult the circumstance.
History: While Brayden was staying in Fuchsia City, he decided to check out the southern beach area. Once there, he found a wild Staryu that washed ashore. Since it was already weakened, Brayden captured it in a Poke Ball, then promptly took it to the Pokémon Center. Like Cubone, Staryu and Brayden have a strong friendship.
Attacks: Water Gun, Swift, Recover, Camouflage

RP Sample: Several days had passed since Brayden first embarked on the boat to the Sinnoh region. The vessel was set to land in Sunyshore City, a scenic yet somewhat rural area. As the first shafts of morning sunlight began to shine into his cabin, the Trainer slowly sat up, rubbing his eyes groggily. With a concise yawn, he slowly strutted onto the ship's deck, his mouth glued shut, save for the occasional groan lingering from sleepiness.

The sunrise was beautiful, to say the least. Very few people were up this early, so Brayden seized the opportunity and sent out his two Pokémon. Plucking two Poke Balls from his belt simultaneously, he quietly released the two. Cubone came out first, giving his master a cheerful smile upon his arrival. Staryu burst out a split second later, not making any noise but instead latching onto Brayden's waist. This was Staryu's way of saying, "Oh hai!"

After Brayden restrained the two Pokémon from getting too overexcited, he quietly let a whisper escape from his lips.

"Can you two see that huge landmass in the distance? That's where we're going to be. You both better be prepared. We've got many challenges ahead of us."

Both Pokémon nodded in agreement. They both seemed uneasy, but this was to be expected. Brayden shared that feeling with them. However, he was also more than willing to face new obstacles, a state of mind that his Pokémon seemed to possess as well.

Sighing, Brayden threw his elbows against the balcony, letting the soft radiance of the morning light overtake his eyes.

Name: Keiku (prefers to be called K.R. though)
Age: 14
Gender: male
Appearance: Mr.Reishu stands at 5' 11" and weighs in at around 175 lbs, On top of his head is a crown of spiky black hair with a blazing blue streak in front. He has piercing green eyes and perfect white teeth. Heis favorite outfit consists of a tight black shirt with a white skull on it which stops at the first half of his top shoulder. Looking at K.R. the first thing that would come to your mind is probably "A no good punk."

K.R. also has two silver loop earrings in both ears. He wears a black leather spike strap on his right wrist and wear a silver Dragonair chain on his shirt. If you look at his right arm, you will find a dagger tattoo, which of course you would probably comment on. Complimentig his shirt, are black skinny jeans with a large silver skull on the right back pocket. He also keeps a silver chain wallet in his left pocket, which can also be seen as well.

Personality: We've all heard the saying that looks can be deceiving, well K.R. must have been the writer of that phrase. Even though K.R. looks like a punk looking for trouble, in reality he is actually a blunt, yet kind person. He is often willing to do what's right and doesn't mind helping others out from time to time, however sometimes there can be a tinge of bitterness within him if one was to analyze his tone. Keiku usually keeps his head straight and tries to keep calm through tough situations. Being a believer in seeing good in everybody, some can see he is a little too much of an optimist, don't get him wrong though, this kid is NOT a pushover! In the end though, he is someone anybody would be glad to have on their team

History: K.R. was born in Celadon City and resided in Celadon Park (Celadon City suburb) for about the first nine years of his life. When he turned ten, his parents decided to risk it all and go to Goldenrod City in order to try and make it big with their small radio talk show. Soon after moving to Goldenrod City, his father began to work at the Goldenrod Radio Tower and was fairly successful at first, then ratings dropped and so did his father's enthusiasm. After a while, K.R.'s father started coming home late and began to become a regular at the casinos. K.R.'s mother worked as a stylist in the underground salon and was barely supporting the family with a small salary. Soon enough, K.R.'s father left the family when Keiku was eleven and after his father, Satomi Reishu, left. Keiku eventually started going by K.R.

The departure of K.R.'s father dissapointed K.R. and devastated his mother, soon enough months went by without hearing a word from him, then about 6 months later, K.R. received a phone call from his father. He learned that his father had joined Team Rocket shortly after he left the family and was sending checks to his mother monthly. However, K.R. didn't want anything to do with the dirty money his father was receiving. As the months went by, K.R.'s father steadily climb upon the ranks and the checks sent to his mother grew larger and larger until soon, K.R. and his mother went from living in a 2 bedroom apartment to a small condo in the downtown area.

K.R.'s father became a Team Rocket Executive when K.R. was 12. Even though they weren't struggling anymore, K.R. still felt sadness and animosity in his heart over his absent father. K.R. also began to take an interest in pokemon battling and having a pokemon as a partner. So, K.R. had his mother bring home Pokemon magazines from the salon at which she worked. Then, on K.R.'s fourteenth birthday, he received a pokeball in the mail from his father. K.R. found that it was an empty pokeball which actually brought joy to him but due to the fact that it was from his father, he didn't want to use, as a matter of fact, he actually considered throwing it away. However, K.R. decided to hold on to it.

One day, after getting into an argument with his father over the phone, K.R. stormed out of the condo and hopped on a bus to Ecruteak City and went sightseeing. As K.R. looked around the Burned Tower and passed by a graveyard on the way to the bus station. He realised that he dropped his pokeball and ran back down the road to go get it. Even though he retrieved the pokeball, he missed the bus and sat on a rock to think of a way to get home. As K.R. cursed his father and began to vent his anger and sadness in his heart, he heard a strange noise but shook it off and continued to curse his father. Soon enough, he saw a Shuppet float around his head and kept following him when he tried to run away.

When K.R. finally got to the nearest bus station, he learned that the next bus wouldn't come until morning, so he had to find a place to spend the night. When K.R. walked out of the bus station he saw the Shuppet in his face once again. As K.R. tried to shoo the Shuppet away, he saw that the Shuppet kept following him. K.R. took off running once again and went to find refuge in a Pokemon Center. however, he was told by a nurse Joy that he had to have Pokemon in order to stay for the night. When K.R. left, he came face to face with the Shuppet again and decided to catch it. As soon as K.R. reached for the pokeball, the Shuppet willingly went inside. When K.R. returned and spent the night at the Pokemon Center and went to catch the bus the following morning, he let the shuppet out of the Pokeball and saw that this was no ordinary shuppet. He saw that it was a teal color and sparkled with stars all around its body. When he called Shuppet back in and returned to Goldenrod City, he told his mother about his small adventure, she was happy for him and offered to groom Shuppet every now and then. K.R. took her up on the offer and even learned how to do it himself.

This peace however, would not last for long, one day K.R. came home, only to be told by his mother that he had to go to the Sinnoh region as soon as possible. Confused, his mother would not explain what exactly he was going there for, nonetheless, K.R. embarked on a new adventure. With Shuppet coming along for the ride, of course.

Personality: Shuppet is a childish and playful pokemon. He is rarely serious and thinks that everything is a joke. He enjoys scaring other people ad pokemon, for some reason however, he is not fond of Psychic pokemon, probably due to type differences.
History: Keiku met Shuppet in Ecruteak City while Keiku was passing a graveyard. He was attracted to Keku's anger and disgust with his father as Shuppet are normally attracted to hateful feelings. Not much is known about Shuppet's past however, it is believed that he lived among many ghost pokemon.

Attacks: Gunk Shot, Will-O-Wisp, Shadow Sneak and Spite

Pokemon 2 –
Species: Eevee
Gender: Male
Nickname: None
Personality: Eevee is a bit of an anomaly when it comes to its species. This pokemon is highly aggressive and often considers any pokemon it sees as an opponent. He has shown a very rare gentile side, however it wont let anybody but Keiku and Shuppet touch its tail.

History: As Keiku left for Sinnoh, he came to a small town, where an out-of-control Eevee was biting people an dpokemon and damaging goods. The town rarely has any visitors and no townsfolk pokemon were really fit enough to keep the Eevee at bay for too long. Keiku, hearing the story decides to track down the Eevee and put it under control. Keiku and Shuppet finally encounter the Eevee as it was just about to vandalize a fruit stand, Eevee's Detect was causing problems for Shuppet, which of course made Shuppet angry and caused it to use Gunk Shot, which poisoned Eevee and after it was nursed back to health by K.R.with Pecha berries and super potion, it came to respect K.R. as a trainer and decided to become a part of his team.

"Man, what a trip." said Keiku as he looked out the window from his cabin

Keiku was given a ship ticket from his mother as he left for Sinnoh. He hated the fact that it was a first-class ticket due to it coming from his father's dirty money. He tried to trade it i for a cheap ticket, however, it was past the date for when an exchange would have been possible.

Keiku sighed as he rolled on his side as he laid in the comfortable bed. It was a memory-foam type of mattress, one that was imported from Celadon department store, which of course brought back memories for K.R. as he thought about his old life in Celadon. He then brushed the memories away as he looked at his two pokeballs.

"I bet they would like to keep me company said K.R. as he grabbed the two balls and released his pokemon.

"Shup!"

"Qui!"

We'll be in Sinnoh eventually, when we do, prepare to go sightseeing.

K.R.'s two partners nodded in agreement as the ship set sail for the adventure that will change his life forever.

Appearance: Angel is about 5'7'', extremely pale white skin, hip-length raven-black hair, beautiful expressive blue eyes that sometimes shift into different shades of blue depending on her mood. She has a model-like body, like the ones you see on the cover of a magazine. She isn't big on dresses, so she wears dark colored jeans and tee-shirts.She puts her hair up when it gets in her way, which is usually all the time.

Personality: Angel is a loyal girl. She's proud and brave. Most people think she's stand-offish, a girl who's hard to get. She has a romantic, loving side that she doesn't show anyone, except her best friend Razvan, who is 16 as well 6'2'' with long blonde hair and friendly green eyes.

History: Angel's parents died when she was 6 years old, leaving her orphaned. Her best friend Razvan and his family took her in and raised her as their own. Angel thinks of Razvan as a brother and her best friend. Razvan gave her her very first pokemon on her tenth birthday, a newborn female Seviper. She trained with Razvan until she was strong enough to battle gym leaders. Now she's living in Kanto, in Viridian City close to the forest.

Personality: Seviper can be tempermental, as is the norm for her species. She's much like her mistress, Angel, seemingling stand-offish and loyal, but secretly loving.
History: Seviper has been with Angel since she hatched and has a very strong bond with her. She fights with all her might for Angel, wanting to win every battle for her.
Attacks: Poison Fang, Wring Out, Poison Tail and Bite.

Nickname: NightStar
Personality: NightStar is a shiny Umbreon, with blue rings instead of gold. He gets along well with Seviper, playing with her on occasion. He's brave and protective of his mistress.
History: NightStar had been abandoned in Viridian forest on a stormy night by his original trainer. Angel found him laying under a bush, soaking wet and terrified. She took off her jacket and wrapped him up in it and went to the Pokemon Center in Viridian City. She took him home after that and he's been with her ever since

RP Sample: "Come on Razvan, is that the best you can do?", Angel shouted. "You haven't seen anything yet!", Razvan shouted back. They were having a battle in their backyard. NightStar was looking smug, eager to win. Razvan's Chingling, Jingle, was hopping around, ready to fight. "Alright NightStar, use Bite!", Angel shouted. NightStar ran forward, ready to bite Jingle. "Jingle, dodge and use Confusion!", Razvan countered. Jingle dodged and used Confusion. "Shake it off, NightStar, And use Iron Tail!",Angel said. NightStar shook his head and used Iron Tail, hitting Jingle. Jingle let out a chime and fell to the ground. "Chingling is unable to battle. Angel wins!", said her father. Razvan grinned at Angel. "Great battle, Angel! Both you and NightStar did an amazing job!", Razvan said, hugging her. "So, I do believe that you owe me an ice-cream, Razvan.", she said sweetly. Razvan groaned. "Dang, I thought you'd forgotten.", said Razvan.....We will be docking in SunyShore City in 30 minutes. Please gather your things together and return your pokemon to their pokeballs. Again, we will be docking in SunyShore City in 30 minutes. Thank you... Angel let out an annoyed sigh, opening her eyes. She'd been remembering her last battle with her brother, Razvan. She missed him a lot. "Sevippperr", said her Seviper, poking her in her side gently. "Breeoonn", NightStar said. He had been curled up in her lap, napping. "Well, I guess you guys need to go into your pokeballs.", Angel said. She got her pokeballs and returned them to their balls. Seviper's pokeball shook a bit. "I know Seviper, but you have to stay in there. I can let you out as soon as we get off the boat, I promise", She said. She put the pokeballs in her pocket. She hadn't taken anything out of her bags, so her packing was already done. She got up and got a cherry coke from the vending machine. She sat back down and looked out the window and got her first look at the Sinnoh region. "This sure is a long way from home", she said. She put her hand on the necklace Razvan had given her before she had left. It was a beautiful gold necklace with a butterfly pendant made of ruby. "I wish you could see this Razvan, you would love it." a tear fell, as the sunrise came through the window, making her skin glow a pale red.

Name: Neil Buchannan

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance: Neil has light brown hair that curls as it lengthens, meaning he usually keeps it short and clean and swept to the side. His eyes are of the royalest blue, and above them sit his thin eyebrows that are dramatically arched, a Buchanan trait. The long nose perched between his eyes slightly widens as it runs down his face and ends above his thin lips that always appear pursed. His jaw is very sqaured and almost always smooth and his chin, though rounded, is very defined. Neil's skin is an average tone, not fair or particularly tan, as is his body, possibly leaning on the more muscular side but not by much. He wears various outfits ranging from button up shirts, khaki pants and Dockers to sweatpants, a baggy hoodie and high tops, but there is always a (fake) diamond stud in his left ear. He's about six foot even.

Personality: Though he can look like a douche, Neil's actually a chill guy. He's fairly timid around strangers but when around even just one friend he opens consierably, though never exceedingly outgoing- being a middle child means he's used to watching others soak up attention. For a teenaged boy Neil is fairly polite and mature, though he does have a habit of slurring criticisms under his breath, attributing to his sarcastic and critical attitude. It may appear that he has no sense of humor to someone realtively foreign to Neil because he doesn't regularly laugh, but this is because he, strangely, indulges in watching others laugh and smile, never displaying his own emotions. Having practically fathered his little brother, Neil has learned to be very responsible, punctual and organized, with modesty seasoned in as well. Despite this seriousness, he's surprisingly playful and likes to crack jokes himself.

History: Neil has lived in Evergrande City, Hoenn, for his entire life with his mother, step father, little brother, Aaron, and his little half sister, Ellie. His older sister, Brooke, has been interning and working in Azalea Town as an environmentalist for the past 3 years, visiting her family once a year. Mr. and Mrs. Buchanan split when Neil was 9, and his father took off to Unova with another woman, though he left a generous amount of his fortune with them. The children recieve birthday cards every year, and that's all. Needless to say, Neil and his older sister share bitter feelings toward the man and both have since developed their very serious attitudes. After the divorce, Neil stepped up and guided Aaron, as a father would, and the two have grown very close since. While in school Neil made friends mostly because of his athletic ability and soon found himself well respected and liked by his peers. One of his best friends, the son of a Pokebreeder, introduced Neil to Pokemon battling when he was about 13. The Buchanan's did have a Pokemon, a Houndoom, but he was more of a guard dog that lived in the large, clean yard and was never used for battling and so Neil was quickly sucked in to the competition. He struggled at first with his donated Electrike, but the boy/newly teenager discovered that the more he bonded with the Pokemon, the better it battled. Having learned that, Neil gained reknown for his battling skills throughout Evergrande as the underdog kid from the playground. He currently has all 8 of Hoenn's badges and is back at home, teaching Aaron his ways.

1) Species: Manectric
Gender: Male
Nickname: Finn

Personality: From the get-go Finn was a scaredy cat. Minute things send his pointed tail between his legs, such as rain, appliances humming, and the doorbell especially. Sometimes he musters up the courage to charge and bark at things, but if they react in any way, Fin'll run away whimpering. But he completely drops this act during a battle or when Neil's safety is threatened, where he transforms into an audacious and fierce opponent, simply because of his incredible passion for and loyalty to Neil. Finn's owner teases him about his fright issues and such but Finn can never stay angry for long and is almost always in a jolly mood.

History: Finn was born in Noah's (Neil's friend) home, and when he was a few months old, was given to Neil so he could get into battling with the other guys. Finn was terrified of Neil and his friends and their Pokemon and often ran off in fright, but Neil always pursued and found him. During one battle, where Finn was frozen with fear and found himself paralyzed (mentally only), Neil interjected and took a Razor Leaf attack for his Electrike, and that was the exact moment that Finn began to trust his owner. The two are inseperable now.

Nickname: Chester

Personality: Chester is incredibly stupid. He often causes giant messes, and not because he's clumsy (he's actually very poised) but because he fails to see the outcome of trying to fly off with the table cloth under the set dinner table. But this lack of smarts makes him a reckless foe. Chester is very obedient because he wouldn't know what else to do.

History: One day, perched in a tree overlooking the waterfall at the entrance to Victory Road, a flash of lightning caused all the other Pokemon to flee, but Chester merely stared and wondered before he was shocked in the back and captured by an ambitious boy and his Electrike. Since then, Neil has toned the Archen's reflexes and honed his immense power. Neil and Chester have a bit of a hard time relating since the Archen is just so pea-brained but Chester is entirely dependent and devoted to his owner. "Ne-o?" Ellie timidly asked, her brown eyes swollen with wonder and youth. The little three year old wobbled through the doorway into the stench of a teenage boy's room, not that she cared. Dirty and clean clothes, wet towels, text books and empty bottles covered the shag carpet, and thick blinds blocked the sunlight out of the double paneled window. Neil looked up from his desk, which currently held the only light source in the room, aside from the light pouring in from the door- a bright desk lamp. Though the girl only shared half of his and his other sibling's genes, looking at her dragged visions of his older sister out of his memory from when she was younger.

"Yeah, what do you need Ell-o?" he asked quietly, his tongue running along his gums. He really needed to finish writing that letter, but it would have to wait.

"Chett-o got my bankie." Despite her distorted speech due to the thumb in her mouth, Neil understood her perfectly- Chester stole her blanket. He groaned and gritted his teeth, but stood up nontheless.

"Well, we better go get it then, huh?" he asked in a higher, playful voice, producing an excited giggle out of Ellie. She spun around and wobbled back into the hallway, and Neil followed her downstairs and into the kitchen. He vaguely wondered who had been watching her and why they couldn't have handled this.

"Where's he at, Ell-o? Where's Chester?" But he no longer required her direction, for the bird chirped obnoxiously loudly, which produced a light foot-pounding upstairs- Finn was retreating into Neil's room no doubt. The strangely colored Archen was perched atop the refridgerator, nesting on top of Ellie's signiture "bankie." Roaring, Neil swooped his little sister into his arms and lifted her up to Chester's location, holding her like baby Simba. He obviously could've reached it himself, but he liked to engage her in things. Being at eye to eye with the silly looking Pokemon and loving the attention from her older brother, little Ellie was giggling hysterically. Chester's head turned ninety degrees, his eyes locked on hers.

"Okay grab your bankie," Neil advised, for his arms were getting a little tired from holding the toddler above his head.

"Chett-o's on bankie!" she exclaimed in protest, shaking her head and reaching her stubby arm towards Chester's head before quickly swatting his beak.

"Just pull it, he'll move." His voice was still child-humoring, but anyone over the age of 5 could tell he was losing patience. Luckily, Ellie did as she was commanded and violently ripped the blanket out from under the Archen, causing him to fly around the room. Paying that no attention, Neil hastily put the girl down.

"Where's mommy or daddy?" Comically, she shrugged and her big eyes bulged while her lips pouted out.

"A-wen is out-thide." As she murmured this, the sliding door opened and Aaron stepped into the kitchen from the deck. He looked elated to find Neil there.

"Hey man can we go practice please?" Aaron pleaded, giving the same face Ellie had moments before. Neil groaned and pamled his face. That letter was never going to get done.
