No nate's original target is the general of Kar's army. That way, the King has rights to choose the next general, and that general is himself. ~tada

Woo. The bimp has crashed. Btw, are we making this building out to be a casino? I didnt know because my original though was just a stage, but I suppose a casino is good. Anyways the building has collapsed. You have failed and the genral is dead. Mwuhahaha. yay for Nate!

No. He succeeded his mission: Protect and bring Talos in. He had nothing to do with the Twanians, and for all he cares, they can burn in Hell. Haha. And Diligent fired him. He may be a patriot, but he holds no bonds there. In simple: He's on his own team.

Leaving this here now. I thought I would get this done earlier, but my computer shuts itself off at all the wrong times. i need a new one now

Name: Iziel Arias [Mostly known as Arias, or Ziel]

Description:
Spoiler:

Age: 21

Class/Job: ex-Blacksmith -> Cook

Book: Power Break

Likes: Pies. If there's anything that Arias likes, it's pies. He also likes his old job, his current job, spelunking, hiking, and exploring. He has a soft spot for cute things, although he won't admit it. Ooh, but he loves action; in fact, he lives for action.

Dislikes: Annoyances; he considers anybody that wastes his time when he's working an "annoyance." He also doesn't like Dilligent. Something about them makes him tick. He doesn't like show-offs either, and he hates the cold. And old-fashioned things.

Combat Technique/Weapon: Power Gauntlets

The Power Gauntlets are made of a mineral that Arias found while exploring a rather large cave; it was a huge crystal that he pulled out of a stalagmite. He returned home and made a pair of brown metallic gloves with them, embedding it into them. This made them resistant to heat and nearly impossible to tear. He mostly street fights- in terms of fighting, but he uses his hands more than his legs.

Oh, and during the course of the RP, everything he has the ability to carry can and will become a weapon.

History/Biography: Ziel was born to a small village in Yovo, also named Arias Village, which was separated from the rest of the world due to their old ways. This was due to his family being the main family; Arias is a village which revolves around the main person, their Blacksmith. His father was the previous blacksmith, but he died of a heat stroke- ironically- leaving Ziel as his only child to take his place. However, Ziel wasn't strong enough to be their blacksmith full time; the hammer was large and heavy and hard to use; it would take a day just to make a simple item because of all the breaks Ziel had to take.

But he loved it.

But the village didn't care.

He was replaced by the neighbor's kid; a strong guy named Raul. Angrily, Ziel was exiled from his home village and was forced to leave, and the village was renamed by Raul to Raul Village; he was very full of himself and this boost to his ego didn't help. Arias moved to Kuvu; there, he opened a restaurant called "the Exile," out of irony. He soon became quite wealthy and such due to good business; but he still decided to live on the floor above, a modest room with a small forge, for recreation, a closet to store clothes, and a few blankets on the wood flooring for sleep.

He was cursed just a few days ago when he went to throw out the piled up trash. Now he's still wondering why he got the book, and what to do with it.

Name: Tristan (Doesn't know it, but his last name is Maunsell)

Description: Well, lets start with the obvious. He's short, maybe 4'8"? And skinny. Sometimes lanky, sometimes wiry, and sometimes emaciated, but only on the worse days. His hair? Black. You could describe it as a deep, dark brown, but it totals to black. The style is chunky, and hangs down to his chin. His skin tone is another matter entirely. IN the winter, or broad daylight, it's pale. In a dark alley, it's tan. At night, he could be an escaped slave. The same goes for his eyes; they balance on the fine line between silver and light amber, often dipping to either side. His large eyes are highly, changing color even based on where he is looking. They are wide, round, and innocent, set into his also round and innocent face. He has a snubbed nose with a smudge on the right side.

Age: 15

Class/Job: Thief/Beggar

Book: Deathly Silence

Likes, Dislikes: He has a certain... affinity for pastries. It's admirable that hes never stolen any sweets. He dislikes stubborn pig headed bull frogs.

Combat Technique/Weapon: Running away. He can throw some punches, but not well. He might have a pocket knife somewhere on him...

History/Biography: His parents came from Sharrel, despite having low funds. They knew everyone. But when Tristan was born, they found they did not have the money for them to keep going. So, when he was a toddler, they took him to the orphanage. The man who ran it was cruel, and never told him of his family. When Tristan was ten, he ran from the orphanage, and became the thief and beggar he is now.

How does the Deathly Silence work?

... every time I edit that post, that list...[RAGE]....
Somethings up with the list mechanic to this forum OS, Its sticking EVERYTHING together and its getting HARD TO READ!!!...
Sorry, just a little flustered about the forum boards OS behavior

Deathly Silence allows you to move quickly at great speeds well over 1000 MPH, You body grows more dense to handle the pressure and you gain better acrobatics as well.

Like the other books, the power starts off weak and grows over time.

Your curse though is you become a mute and can't interact with others.
You start off with a few words being muted. simpler words you don't use.
As your curse grows, some sentences you try to speak don't become voiced.
Near the strongest point, you won't be able to talk at all.

If you don't like the book or the idea behind it, you can make your own, just follow the book SU form.

I have a feeling dillifgent would be the best bet, considering that Kar is technically the enemy - that way Nate gets to be a super awesome SPY! I do want to be able to interact with you all btw.

Well, we can move Nate towards Yovo to search for the king of Hummo, he could take notice to the group and notice us being gathered.

Also, an announcement.
I have been strongly considering turning Cursed Books into a video game and basing its story off one of the boards I posted the story towards. I have RPGMakerVXAce and I have a license to sell off the game to make money off of it; I may base the game's story off of what transpires in the RP now; Characters included if I can have permission.

Though it isn't all easy and glamorous as it sounds; I still need a composer to come up with original soundtracks or commercial free music to put in it and environmental tile sets for maps that don't require the artist's permission for a commercial game. Monsters as well. I can handle some of the character designs in terms of sprites, though faces for text boxes will be a difficult venture along with everything else.

To anyone asking about RPGear or Cardbox, I got far with it and stopped for 2 reasons. I'm having difficulty comprehending Java's Networking libraries and developing a java based server to make it work. The graphics and design is in place, just the back end I'm having trouble with.

SHIRO
The Heavenly Quiet Protector

Yovo
x
CHAPTER N,
Part N:

"Blessing"
.

Name: Shiro Takatsuki
Sex: Female
Age: 17
Class/Job: Yovo Priestess' Daughter

Appearance:
Spoiler:
Shiro is pale-skinned, standing at five feet and two inches with a slender figure. She has deep ocean-blue eyes a tiny smile, and a small, round nose. Her hair is a light golden color and hangs neatly down to her shoulders, a red ribbon tied over her head. She wears a small silvery-white dress and a cross necklace, along with some comfortable sandals. Her appearance is very softly lit, and in well-lit areas, she always looks glowing.

Book:
Shiro's Cursed Book, Holy Light.
Spoiler:

Shiro's Grandmother's Cursed Book, Guardian Angel.
Spoiler:

Likes: Helping Others, Freedom, Peace, Quiet, Meditation, Animals, Friends, Family, Affection, Kindness, Good Morality, and Love.

Dislikes: Religion, Being told what to do, War, Loud Noise, Stress, Bugs, Monsters, Demons, Cruelty, Hatred, Tough Decisions, and Evil.

Combat Technique/Weapon: Blessed Dagger (For self-defense, but she has little practice with it)

History/Biography: Shiro lived a semi-quiet life in Yoko prior to the war. As a girl, she heard many stories of magical books and powers from her grandmother. Her mother discouraged her excitement over it, but she still found the idea interesting. However, her questions were more surprising than anything. "Many books existed, some created fire, some altered the world, some could change time, some could form explosions in the air... The power was something to be astounded by," her grandmother would explain. Though young Shiro would ask in response, "Were there books that helped people too, instead of hurting them?" Her grandmother went to her room and returned with a small, rectangular locked box. She put in the key and twisted it, showing a five-year-old Shiro an old and bruised book with an angel holding a shield painted on the cover. She explained that not every book was meant for fighting; some were there to give the opportunity to protect those you loved and cared for. Or for those who couldn't protect themselves. Shiro's grandmother promised her that she could take ownership of the book once she was old enough to understand the consequences. He mother reluctantly agreed. Months (and more stories) later, her grandmother passed away. With no father or grandparents, Shiro was left to keep dreaming on her own, and she did for years. Even as her mother brought her to work at the church, Shiro was always somewhere else in her head. Years passed peacefully in Yovo. Eventually Shiro's mother became more strict, and before she knew it, she was forced into following her mother's career as a priestess. Shiro didn't believe in the religion, but stayed reluctantly because she liked helping others. However, she disliked the religion because she didn't think giving false hope was going to help anyone. At the youthful but matured age of seventeen, Shiro finally stood up to her mother. With the rumors of war breaking out, Shiro took her grandmother's book and set off to figure out how she could prevent a war from destroying the nation. It was after she'd left that the black figure had handed her a book alongside a warning. With two books, and two curses, Shiro continued to survive on her own. She was able to make money and sustain herself by getting paid to heal others or reach ridiculous heights or places with her shields. She reaches the shores of Yovo, equipped with two books, a bag of clothes and money, and a single rumor she wishes to seek: a small group of cursed victims who were setting out to stop the war.
