You know compared to the technology of our world.

How advanced is the Pokémon world compared to ours.

They do seem to have guns but their rare.

They don’t seem to have cars considering you can just use a flying Pokémon.

But in general how advanced is their technology compared to ours.

I am the One Above All. I see through many eyes. I build with many hands. They are themselves, but they are also me. I am all-powerful. My only weapon is love. The mystery intrigues me.

There is cars, actually? If you look at the B2/W2 credits, Burgh drives a car.

Anyway, Pokemon technology is, imo, only slightly more advanced than our own. Being able to store Pokemon in a PC, in a cloud-like storage system was way ahead of its time when first introduced in Gen I, for example.

I think, to properly answer this (because it's such a hugely broad question) you'd have to define what kind of "technology" you're referring to. So, I'll break it down.

Medical Technology: The Pokemon universe definitely has this over ours for sure! I realize that the games kind of accelerate the process a lot more than the anime does, but the fact that there's a hospital for Pokemon that can pretty much cure any status ailment (so pretty much almost any illness) in a simple visit is mindblowing. Compared to the real world, the Pokemon world is leaps and bounds ahead of us in this area.

Automotive Technology: About the same. I believe there's cars in Unova in the games, but I'm not sure about the anime. People do use cars, though.

Communication Technology: This is a harder one to pinpoint. Pokemon Gold and Silver were released back in 1999 and the player had a basic phone in an era where I believe most people had super basic phones, so I'd say about the same until you hit like BW with the Xtransceiver, which is basically a handheld version of Skype calling. Also in Gen VII, you see people with smartphone devices, so I'd say it's roughly about the same here, with the Pokemon world probably having a slight step ahead thanks to the Poketch. Our apps aren't quite as advanced as to automatically tell us in an instant what our pets feel about us at any given time.

Computer Technology: Pokemon is leaps and bounds ahead. Even early in the anime, when Ash transfers his Pokemon over to Prof. Oak, Pokemon are just teleported away into his lab. That's some insane wizardry even by today's standards. Putting Pokemon in a "PC" area where really they're just transferred to their own little area is kind of crazy to think about. And to think some random person programmed that entire system, too!

---

I would say that most other things considered that Pokemon is about the same technology-wise as our world, but they're ahead in more things. The very notion of capturing Pokemon, breaking down their essence into energy and storing it into a Pokeball is some kind of crazy technology that we humans won't even think about attempting and some dude (Kurt) just makes them for muks and giggles.

So on the sci fi scale. They are just advanced than ours in some parts while having the same technology on other parts.

Somewhat high-tech Pokemon society that is, we have a lot of cars, the number of the invention made by Clemont, and Time Capsule, there is also time travel and eletronic consumers as well. We also have scientists who try and invent anything that is needed for the future aspect.
