I think I'm going to keep this for a while...it's gotten quite the interesting reaction XD

The downside is, however, no one will ever take you seriously. You could compose the most brilliant neuro engineering physics theory about nuclear reaction processess and people will be "Tee hee, he's got the BK king for his avy...hee hee."

I've never really been taken seriously, though, so I don't think it hurts my reputation at all. If I'm ever in a situation where I need to be forceful, I'll change my avatar and signature, but I don't see that happening <_<;

You should have your sig just say in big bold letters "I'm being quite serious." and just that...yeah that'd pwn

The problem with that is that most people would be amused by that. I think I lose no matter what I do with my avatar and signature ._.;

then put something blatently stupid, like "I'm so much smarter than you" or something awesome like that
