    This may seem like a dumb question, but I was hoping to get this patch working with a randomizer. Specifically this one: https://code.google.com/p/pokemon-randomiser/

    I'm assuming the randomizer only knows to point to the existing 386 Pokemon, but would you know if there is any way to make it work?

      In all seriousness...

      This patch is absolutely beautiful and a glamorous addition to the tools hackers of FR are offered.
      Lets ignore the fact that this project is a massive undertaking in and of itself...


      The implications of having an astounding base such as this are just amazing. I'm almost dumbfounded by it. Almost. We are now a stone's throw away from having complete control over our own Pokemon games because of you. Any individual, once we have the movesets perfected, bugs exterminated, and a Wild Pokemon editor that works with this patch, will be capable of making their own complete and updated Pokemon game. In addition, this is good and bad both, we can start seeing further expansions designed based on this patch that will allow users to add even more Pokemon for future generation games as well as officially create their own region with completely new Pokemon without compromising any of the real Pokemon. This could be quite beneficial and so I applaud you!

        Hello, I was wondering if somebody could help me with replacing the wild battles with these new sinnoh and unova Pokémon. I know it will require a hex editor, and all though I haven't done anything like this before, I do no sometheory so I'llbe easily teachable.

          Since I can imagine this will be asked about before too long, what are your plans with regards to gen 6 Jambo? If your spriter makes images for all of the new Pokemon coming this October then will they and the new moves/abilities be added to the patch as well?

            Jambo and I already discussed this, and he is not. Sorry, but this patch will only go up to Generation V.

              was cheacking this out tryign to figure this out and double wild pokemon battles is awesome . i just wanted to say that AdvanceMaps only goes to 411 lol . wishing there was a simple way to put the other ones in it can wait to see this complete. got a qustion to how do i enable national pokedex ? fishing rods are broke i think

                    I'm slowly but surely adding the new attacks in, and modifying some of the abilities so that they act more like gen 5. It's hard and slow work, especially since I'm getting little to no help.

                    Other than that, I'm just waiting on sprites, for the most part.

                            This sounds stupid, but my browser isn't downloading the ips file. When I click the link, it takes me to a new tab with the file name as the address instead of downloading it. The page itself was complete gibberish. Even the save as option wanted to save it as a text file instead of an ips file. This is the first time something like this happened to me. Anyone else have this problem? Is it just my browser?

                                    Jambo, I'm not sure if this is a bug, but it probably is. So I used a TM on my starter, and the TM was used up, meaning it wasn't infinite.
                                    When I looked at the routine for removing an item, it seemed that the routine was in a loop, never changing, never escaping, so yeah.

                                        I haven't done anything to the item removal code, if it loops it's because it normally loops. I never changed the TM system to gen 5's system, only added the new TMs.

                                          I know I'm gonna sound plain stupid when I say this, but how exactly do I patch this? I use lunarips to patch and I get a message saying that the patch was successful, but I check a-map (I know the wild editor will only go so far - like 411 or something like that) but only see the the first 386. No more. No less. Is there something I am doing wrong?

                                            No you aren't, at least, I'm not sure until you actually check in game. There's no extra pokemon in A-map because it doesn't support all th new pokemon. Just check to see if your Pokemon's name is lowercase, and you'll know that the patch worked.

                                              Jambo, I noticed your poll at the top, and I was just wondering, that is the same hacked routine you had me apply to increase the bag size, correct? I thought that this routine was a new updated version by JPAN in order to fix compatibility with flashcarts? I really don't know since I don't have one for the GBA, wish I did:D but I can't find them anywhere. Anyways, just curious.

                                              By the way, I cannot wait for this patch to be complete. I am deffinately going to use it as a base for a hack. Keep up the great work and thanks for helping me when I get stuck!

I know that I'd have to use the randomizer, but then I could essentially walk down route one and find a zekrom? So now, that's out of the question, leaving hex editing left. Would there be any other ways to edit the wild pokemons?

                                                  First of all, Zecrom doesn't have a sprite. I think Jambo said the highest poke with a sprite is Duosion. Also, I don't know any randomizer that works with the patch. Only 2 things I know work are A-map and hex editing. I did use A-map to put starly in. If you need help, PM me and i'll try.
