When everywhere you went, there was always the big hype of Pokemon the First Movie coming out.

You know you grew up with Gen1 when you try teleport away from trainers right as they see you.

You knew you grew up with Gen 1 when you think the Nidorans are the only Pokemon with genders.

You know you grew up with Generation 1 when you can recall those horrid Geocities sites full of people lying out of their teeth about Mewthree, Nidogod, Nidogoddess, and possibly some other 'winners' that escape me ATM.

When the Pokmeon back then weren't that cute compared to later generations.
