Do you have to deal with panic in your life?

^That's all I have to ask.

If you wish to broaden the topic please feel free to do so.

Here is my answer:

I have been developing a habit of having severe panic attacks over the past.. Two months?

Ever since my friend rejected me any time I think of her I feel the need to run away, to fall down, to pass out, I get dizzy, I can't breathe. I hyperventilate. I cry sometimes.

Panic attacks. Not as severe as other peoples. Sometimes I can keep it under control by breathing, but I really just need to see a doctor.

Does anyone else have any panic stories?

Ive been panicking over certain personal things. I dont know how to handle stress well and it does cause me to get fairly anxious sometimes. :/ I dont think its bad enough for medication, but it does happen to me.

Uh, anyway.
Not really. Used to, but I'd rather not get into that on a public forum.

When I was a kid, though, my parents actually considered putting me on meds for anxiety. I was a real mess of a child. X}

I don't have any phobia kind of things that cause problems, though. Closest thing to that would be that I sort of panic if I'm underwater, thanks to nearly having my friend's brother drown me a couple of years ago. However, I'm stubborn and have been making myself swim/lurk underwater anyway, in an attempt to kill that phobia. {:
I can't think of a good signature.

I've never panicked in a way that would make it outstanding, but when I was in school I'd constantly panic over everything because the stress level was so unbelievably high. Now I plan my life to avoid those situations, but it used to be way too difficult to do that because I had no control over my options.

I had a panic attack at a football game. I'm very sensitive to load noises, and I am afraid of fireworks. Fireworks, mind you, are loud. So that's just a disaster waiting to happen. At the Kentucky game, they set off a ton of fireworks after they won and we were getting our stuff ready to head back to the buses, and omg the sound was terrifying and i dropped my hat and gloves and everything and just sat back down and held onto my saxophone for dear life, shaking and such. My section leader told me to go on to the buses and someone would bring my hat, so I started to walk down out of the bleachers. I was still shaking and breathing heavily, and then when I got out of the bleachers, I walk over and HELLO FIREWORKS RIGHT IN PLAIN VIEW. And I literally just stood there with my eyes widened in terror and crying and shaking and it was like...losing function, in a way? I literally didn't move till my section leader came down and saw me there and he just kind of walked me over towards the buses and was complaining about how big football teams like Kentucky do the fireworks and such. It made me feel a bit better, but I was still upset and such.

I know it was nothing I could help, but it was still rather embarrassing. This is the only time this has happened...I'm not really quite sure of the requirements for a panic attack, but I assume that was one and jfc I don't want another. But it is rather annoying that people think it's funny that I'm afraid of fireworks. It's not like I decided on that to happen. Same with loud noises. I tend to jump and look around and such when I hear one unexpectedly.

If I ever panic I would have to go outside to calm myself, When I was in school the dinner hall queue made me panic because I did not do well in queues. Nowadays I am fine with queues.

I don't usually panic. Why panic over small things? The only thing I could remember panicking is when my grandpa had a stroke.

This is a touch disgusting, but I have panic attacks whenever someone around me vomits or if I hear anything to do with it. It's quite unsettling and it's especially bad when I myself feel nauseous. I've been having these since I was around seven years of age.

I panic quite a bit about school and studying -- but if I'm organised most of it will dissipate.

No no... I'm very stoic... I mean I don't 'lose control', I never degenerate into any sort of emotional state.

I sometimes panic over not revising for a particular exam but that's about it. I haven't really experienced anything huge in my life yet to panic about.

I'm substantially clearheaded, and scarcely allow myself to 'lose it.'

I've had multiple panic moments, like when I forgot to meet up with my group for a school project and I thought that we would fail, but it turned out the teacher cancelled the project, but I didn't know because I don't have a Facebook account.

I've been truly panicking in my life very rarely. I can count those times on my hand. I don't consider stressful situations as situations to panic every time. I usually try to be cold-blooded.

Just want to point out that you don't really...allow it. You can't help it if it happens. Believe me, I would have loved to have not had my moment of panic at that game. As I said, it was embarrassing, but it was nothing I could prevent.

I have never had a panic attack, though I often will lay in bed for hours and hours before being able to sleep especially when I am stressed out, but I am just guessing that my insomnia is triggered by general anxiety and stress. I am glad that I have any severe form of anxiety attacks.

when I panic I tend to yell, curse and get all fidgety while worrying about what may happen.

Make sense? Oh, what fun is there in making sense?
