I think if Pikachu's yellow color is best for a thunder type if you regionize most of electric type Pokemon had Yellow color maybe all the electric has yellow color, like - Elkid, Elecrabuzz, Electravire, Pikachu, Raichu, Zapdos,, Joleten. etc..

Pikachu's coloring is pretty nice. Shiny isn't much different but meh :P
