I voted for the Togepi line because Togekiss is my favourite Pokémon. I would have voted for some other but the Togepi line is already doing bad enough :/

I like a good handful, like Togekiss, Crobat, Froslass, Tyranitar, Arcanine, Umbreon, Starmie, Sceptile, Umbreon, Gardevoir... So hard to just narrow down things! Thanks Brendino for making this such a lovely event.

I decided to determine it by being lazy: My top three are all "first" shinies for me, obtained in Fire Red, Emerald, and Diamond, respectively.

I voted for Gengar since he looks epic, although my favorite Pokemon is Crobat.

I voted for lugia and treecko/grovyle/sceptile. I do like some of the others a lot, but not quite to the level of these. And since I missed the Grass-type voting, I voted this family because of their sleek designs. Also, treecko is my favorite grass-type, and it started my tradition of always choosing the grass starter first. ^-^

Voted for a whole lotta pokemon. So many nice ones are here so I tried to think like, what pokemon should be PC's favorite? Stuff like Golbat, Arcanine, Dragonite, Gengar, Metagross and Heracross are qualified! Many gen I pokemon, I feel. The original and best? I somehow love the Golbat and Gengar families much more than their copies in later gens. The original bats and ghosts. I'm boring, I know :3

To tell the truth I thought Charizard would have won favorite fire type and the overall tournament. Well good game anyway Gengar! I've just realized that I'm supporting a non existent entity.....

I didn't vote unfortunately but congratulations to the ghosts. Gengar has always been one of my favorites since the opening of the first episode of the anime. It was just so captivating.

Wow, Gengar's got it this time, then? I just hope there's going to be one next year, as the community is such that favourites and members keep moving around the years. What say to that? An annual Favourite Pokémon Tournament may just make up the life in this forum, eh? I love these kind of tournaments! Drinks Everywhere! Er, I meant emblems, yes, emblems.

The Gengar line aren't really among my top faves (it just looks creepy imo) but I was actually surprised it ended up as the general fave of the entire forum. Maybe they just love creepy faces lol

Anyways, well done Rika and Brendan, you made this a success and I do hope we can have another one sometime so we can see if the faves have changed over time. This was exactly the activity the section needed so yeah well done to the Gengar fans and the regulars of PGen in general!

One of the things I took under consideration when starting the tournament was making it a yearly event- especially with the periodic addition of new Pokemon, and members always coming and going. If I can find a way to cut down the voting time from 6 months to at least half of that, there's a better chance you'll see a 2014 tournament.

Oh, and speaking of emblems, I hope no one's thinking I've forgot about them. I've been without my computer for a few days, but they'll be ready to go once I've got it back!

Eh, I was hoping for a Metagross or Sceptile victory.

Guess it really is true, Gen 1 is hugely over-loved. I honestly never liked Gengar much.
