        in essentials can you edit and add your own custom tile sets? I've never used it before and am new to it

          Yes. Basically anything you can do in RMXP proper, you can do in Essentials.

            The only thing when editing/making a tileset is that essentials uses 32x32 tile blocks instead of the usual 16x16 blocks u find on internet. Furthermore, the width can be a max of 256 pixels.
