6th Gen Mutating Berries

In the Kalos region only, you can mutate berries. In order to do this, you need to grow certain types of berries, and combine that with the Surprise Mulch or Amaze Mulch. This is the only way in game to get Kee Berries and Maranga Berries in X/Y.

Did you mutate berries? I actually haven't. I didn't know it was an actual feature.

I did mutate berries but not with the intention of getting a specific type of berry. I was just playing with the mechanics. Overall, I just used the Berry feature to grow Sitrus Berries since they are very useful for healing Pokémon after battle instead of using potions XD
