1. I'll omit the part with the cells then (Not completely important to the story anyways.) The real explosion that matters is the taverns where the gangs hang (granted they were destroyed from the outside so some people on the inside are likely alive.) Anyways, I'm having one of my characters (Arc) fight a spirit person and die (this is for Spark's character developement.) He is going in to see if he can save any children from the wreckage.

2. Who is Aiden, I read the last post you posted and there wasn't an aiden.

@WolfOfEve: NO LEGENDARIES....is my answer. Yeah. I took the opportunity to just... avoid answering that. Sorry. xP

@Khawill: There are quite a few. Zack Willians, for instance, lives in Eterna. He is one of the NPC bosses, the weakest of which. (Kabutops wielder. Can be read about on the first post of the OOC.)

The others are vaguely generic NPCs, and you're allowed to make them up as you wish.

Well I avoid contact with any major NPC and I really didn't get too far into the city so I suppose it is worth saying that I've basically caused a huge destruction in a part of the city, along with plenty of adult and children deaths. Additionally I killed off one of my characters (I planned on doing it at some point, I just needed a good scenario).

Edit* Also I should point out that it wasn't too graphic, though maybe a bit sad. Spark is much brighter in personality as well so I'll post an updated personalities/pokespirit SU. (This is mostly a reference for me, so many characters tends to get me confused and I occasionally check my SUs to remind me about the character.)

Personality- Spark is now a playful character, finding joy in things. She loves to play and mess with appliances, and nature. She is now very trusting towards people and holds no grudges. She enjoys the company of others, though she is never alone due to her pokespirits. She doesn't actually know about the spirits and occasionally uses their powers accidentally. When her life is threatened she blanks out and reverts to her old self (though without any memories of the past, just possessing the fighting style and ruthlessness of her old self along with insanity). This is temporary though and she always forgets the episodes when they happen. (This will happen rarely, I don't plan on actually using this too much).

History- (Full story is all my posts thus far, this is a summary) Spark had a twin brother, Arc who was the only person in the world who she actually cared for. They ventured to the Underground in search of missions and supplies. Unfortunately a girl named Aria met up with them. Aria was also a spirit child and didn't hide her distinctions. This caused the trio to be captured and held captive in Eterna City. Aria broke out, taking out a guard and attracting the attention of the area's guards. This allowed Spark and Arc to find an armory with explosives and wiring. Spark set them up, wishing to cause chaos and drained most of her power activating the fuse. Spark passed out, forcing Arc to carry her out of the city with Aria. Aria watched over the unconscious Spark while her brother Arc went into the city to help any child who was injured. He was attacked by another child who also had a spirit, he won the fight completely drained and walked back to Aria and Spark. Just as Spark had woken up she saw Arc, they walked toward each other but unfortunately he was impaled by the previous spirit wielder (who died after stabbing him) and died after giving Aria some words. Spark went into an uncontrollable and tried destroying the city, but due to the bravery of Aria and the willpower of Spark herself Aria was able to wipe her memory of everything, including Arc.

Pokespirits: Plusle and Minun (She doesn't know they are spirits and just calls them voices)
Moves: Plusle- Electro Ball, Thunder, Volt Switch (Arc takes her place), Charge beam, Thunder Bolt, (Volt Absorb ability)
Minun- Encore, Helping hand, Entrainment, Copycat, Wild Charge, Double Team (Natural Fake tears, not a move)

Plusle remains a playful creature, being the voice of joy to Spark. She often gives games and history from her time. Plusle is the one that Spark actively uses (Volt Absorb being the most obvious to Spark) Plusle loves singing songs and doing chants. Spark calls her the happy voice and uses the word sister to refer to her.
Minun has changed her personality though. After being separated from Arc and witnessing the tragedy unfold, Minun has taken a voice of reason and maturity. Spark describes her as the motherly voice and evens refers to her as mom at points, Minun tells stories to Spark and hopes she never remembers her past. Minun can be described as caring and somewhat of an adult figure.

@Khawill: I see... I will generate a world event in my next post in response to this. (A world event is a change in the setting of the RP as a result of the actions of characters.)

@yellow: noticed your conversation about using transform. Well, seeing as espoengirl kind of broke a majority of those rules you just put up with her side character ditz, so does she have to go back and fix them?
(I am asking this for her because we share a computer, and she is usually busy. which also means i will probably have to edit her posts for her...)

That's pretty awesome, didn't think my character would be changing the world yet lol. Personally I feel sad that Arc had to die, then again I've added more story to my character.

@Hovde: ...Hmm. I personally reviewed the posts in question and the one thing that really bothers me is actually not her ditto but the fact that she seems to be taking the form of an actual espeon instead of a fusion between an espeon and a human.

I guess in hindsight I could've caught hints of this misunderstanding in the original SU, but kind of assumed there were none at the time. But as the rules--...Oh geez. Why isn't this in the rules? I'm sure I had a reason for not explicitly stating it there, but I can't remember why exactly I didn't and feel the need to put it in there now. As a rule of thumb, non-humanoid characters are a generally going to be an issue.

Point being, pokespirit wielders are approximately 70-90% human when fused.

Keeping in mind that being 30% pokemon is a huge difference from 100% human, and that if it were 50/50, the person might not even have a human shape anymore.

Example: http://imageshack.us/a/img213/686/espeongijinkabysanzamao.png

Non-Espeon examples of pokemon spirit wielders:
An eelektross spirit-wielder
A cofagrigus spirit-wielder

Uh... But yeah, the posts still work if her character isn't an espeon. Slavery of spirit-wielders isn't exactly a new concept. Just... please have her be a proper fusion between the two in the future? :P

As for the ditto issue, I thought about it a tad and decided to relent a bit on the transformation rules for espoengirl's sake. A transform user is allowed to take the form of inanimate objects. However, anything twice their size or more is off limits and anything too small to be readily seen by the naked eye is off limits.

Alright? ^^; Y'know, if she needs help with anything or has questions, she can feel free to come to me personally, via PMs or wherever is convenient. I like to think I'm nice enough to work with.

I've updated the rules, expanding on one rule and adding the second rule. For now, that's where they are. (I also quoted them below) If there's anything else that one wants to be explained, feel free to ask.

• No guns whatsoever. Human weapons in general are to be considered useless when used on pokespirit wielders with the exception of explosives which are able to cause bruises and stun pokespirit wielders that weren't bracing themselves. Heavier explosives may result in severe disorientation and or the victim being thrown through the air, and may cause bruises more frequently, but once again are unlikely to actually end a pokespirit wielder's life. (The one exception on human weapons is a blade wielded by a pokespirit wielder. A blade wielded by a pokespirit wielder is capable of causing significant damage to other pokespirit wielders due to the sheer strength behind it, but will be very prone to shattering on any given strike.)

• No character is permitted to take the form of a Pokemon. All characters must maintain a humanoid shape and no character may exceed 10'0'' (3.048 meters) or be smaller than 2'0'' (0.6096 meters) in height. As a rule of thumb, when one's character is fused they should not look to be more than 30% Pokemon nor less than 10%. Here are some examples: A 10-15% Pokemon - Espeon Wielder, a 10-15% Pokemon - Cofagrigus Wielder, and a 20-25% Pokemon - Eelektross Wielder. Note the Eelektross wielder having abnormal skin and large fangs instead of human teeth. 25-30% Pokemon - Charizard Wielder. Note the charizard wielder's limbs being more pokemon than human. If this one had fully orange/red skin or an inhuman face, they'd be going overboard and might be denied.

Eh...? These are all hypothetical. I didn't even realize Rotom motoR was a legendary in the first place. I'm only feeding my own curiosity.

Secondly, What would you say Amethyst is, Poke-resemblance percentage? 10-15%?

Lastly, you can go ahead and let Lucy pick up the book Amethyst is holding, that way you can decide what it says.

@yellow-Sorry for the mix up. Espii doesnt actually take on a 100% morph, but just grows purple fur, the tail, and a jewel on her forehead. Could you tell me what made you think i was morphing wrong?

@everyone- FYI, I dont have the most stable computer, so if i dont post for a while, it is safe to assume that my computer broke, and i will be trying to fix it. If this happens, feel free to control Ryan if you are interacting with him, but please dont just kill him off. Preferrably knock him out and ditch him or something. i would use the libraries computers to post while my computer is broken., but for some odd reason the web filter blocks pokecommunity and says it is a porn website (WTF?!). As of now my computer is working fine, but i just wanted to let everyone know ahead of time. The same applies to Espoengirl.

Name: Ethan Therick

Nickname (Optional):

Age (10-13): 13

Sex (Male or Female): Male

Appearance (A picture can be provided instead of a description if you so wish.): Ethan is 5"8 and has dark, greenish-blue hair with bits of a light tan color at his ends. He has red eyes and white skin. He has blue hair growing on the back of his hands and on his neck. On his palms and either side of his neck, he has raised openings that resemble the shape of a crater.(The craters will be explained in his quirks). For clothing, he wears a black T-shirt and blue jeans, both torn and burnt horribly.

Personality (How does your character act and react to others? Their mental state? Flaws and/or personal weaknesses?): Ethan is a relatively shy and awkward person. When interacting with others, he'll generally try his best to either avoid combat, or long conversations. When speaking, he can sometimes begin to stutter as his nerves begin to tug on him. If forced into a combat situation, he'll generally hold back his power as much as possible unless it turns into a life-or-death situation. When it comes to friends, you'll generally find he doesn't have many. Being simply too afraid to speak to most people, holding any form of a relationship is relatively difficult. When he does get to know the person, however, he'll be relatively sweet. Despite his nerves, if someone he truly cares about is in danger, he'll do anything to save them.

History (Where did your character grow up? Who did they grow up with? What have the been doing before this? Any noteworthy events?): Ethan was born in Eterna city to a recently widowed mother. Just before he had entered the world, his father had been attacked by roaming bandits while scavenging for supplies outside of town and never returned. While growing up, he generally had it easier than most of the other children, despite not having a father. His mother was a brilliant survivalist and had managed to support Ethan for a good portion of his life. For most of his early childhood, he was traveling from ruined town to ruined town with his mother because she deemed it easiest to survive on the move, as opposed to living in one of the towns, most of which wouldn't allow them to stay together. Because of this, he rarely met with and interacted with other people, and those that he did meet were generally out to harm one or both of them, inducing a fear of people upon the child. One day, his mother, too left and never came back.

No longer having anyone to support him, he wandered off into the region, collecting what little supplies he could with his limited survival skills. Eventually, on the verge of death, he came across Mt. Coronet, where he acquired his Pokespirit, a cyndiquil. The change altered his hair color and added a couple of additions to his body, but for the most part, he remained the same.

He bonded with his Pokespirit, and through the mental link, it showed him how to survive in the wild, revealing to him the secrets that wild pokemon had used in the past to support themselves. Overtime, the two of them thrived together, living for the most-part away from what little civilization was left.

Pokéspirit (No legendaries. Alternate color schemes are allowed.)
Species: Cyndiquil

Nickname (Optional):

Personality (Can be as short or long as you want): Cyndiquil is a rather shy pokespirit, similar to to his partner, Ethan.

Moves (Maximum of 6. TM and egg moves are allowed. These are the moves your character gets when they fuse): Ember, Smokescreen and flamethrower.

Other (Optional): When Ethan becomes emotionally stimulated, smoke or even embers can erupt through the crater-like ports on the side of his neck depending on how strongly stimulated he was. The ports on the side of his neck can be used to cast smokescreen, and the ports on his hands are used for attacks such as flame-thrower. In the heat of battle, the ports on his neck are always alit with flame.

Opening Post (This will be what we use to determine whether your writing skills are good enough. If accepted, you may feel free to copy paste your post here into the IC thread.): Ethan slowly made his way out of the forest and into the remained of what was once Route 202, a few Oran berries clutched in his hand. Plopping himself down against a near-by tree at the edge of the road, he brought the berries in front of him and began to eat them as slowly as possible, savoring the taste.

They're getting scarcer around here....

Forgetting that the voice was within his head for a moment, he found himself startled and coughed up a bit of his meal, a puff of smoke erupting from the craters on his neck. Realizing that it was Cyndiquil, he quickly recovered himself.

D-Don't do that!, he mentally growled back before replying: Yeah....And the only town near-by is Jubilife, which won't exactly give us a warm welcome.

Debating back and forth with each other as to whether or not they should try to go, they eventually decided to consult the old map they had found amongst the ruins of Sinnoh. Finding Floaroma on the map, they decided to wait through night and sneak through Jubilife, and then head North towards whatever was left of Floaroma in the hopes of finding a better supply of food. Bunkering down behind a bush, they then began to await the night.

@EspoenGirl: I also observed she had paws instead of hands. Judging by the post, I was unable to determine any human traits at all o3O

Basically, the concern is that spirit wielders should not be anthromorphic Pokemon. They should be humans with some pokemon features. It's important to keep it this way just because consistency is pleasant.

Regardless. If you understand, there isn't an issue. We can just play it off from here. I would rather not inconvenience you unnecessarily. ^^;

@Pppgggr

Spoiler:

@Khawill

As a precaution, Pokémon spirits aren't able to possess their host. They share consciousness and body alike, but the human is entirely dominant over the body. This is why fused wielders are still mostly human, rather than totally turning into Pokémon; and if the human is knocked out, the Pokémon spirit is, too. (That said, it'd be much appreciated should you correct your post where Spark's Minun takes over the body.)

I should've worded it differently because she isn't being completely controlled. Due to Spark's large loss of memory there is a lot of space, mostly where Spark's memory of Arc resided. Pretty much meaning that there is no strong or accessible memory of Arc.

The dreams are pretty important, because if each of my posts are read closely (after Arc's death) then I reference them. To be a little more specific, in the first dream Spark has a nightmare, quiet obviously a reference to her old self. The next time she goes to sleep she has a "happy" dream with red and blue flowers (hopefully you picked up on the creatures being Plusle n Minun) then a solitary green flower in the center, (her memory of Arc, something she likes but doesn't recognize).

When she kneels in front of this flower she is basically giving control self-consciously to Minun (Arc's spirit pokemon). Plusle can't take control and this can only happen when in the "field" and she kneels in front of the flower, if she ever truly remembers Arc then it won't ever work.

I suppose in a basic sense it is more hypnotism than control, where the mind is in control, but the spirit is hold the reins. (If this is unacceptable I could always just turn her into Spark and blow up the whole house, though that would just be sloppy writing on my behalf since I prefer psychological things like that).

On another note, I make so many allusions to previous posts and set myself up for future posts, I don't know how things turn out (especially when working with another person who is as unpredictable as me) but I do know how to set things up for myself. I have to say Spark is one of my favorite characters that I've made. I like some of the things that just happen that actually help further where I'm going with her.

I don't think I've actually planned any posts with Ice other than maybe the one where Spark goes crazy, otherwise we just kind of follow each other's leads. It just seems so much more realistic when you know your goals, but not whats going to be thrown at you.
