Blackest Night

A long, long, long time ago, there were a team of beings called the Guardians. They had created using their magic forces, energy rings to represent the emotions, meaning love, compassion, willpower, fear, anger, hope, and greed. They also created deities for each emotion, being The Butcher for rage, Ophidian for greed, Parallax for fear, Ion for willpower, Adara for hope, Proselyte for compassion, and The Predator for love. These beings and creatures had formed the emotions and each took sanctuary for their own peace.

The Present:

Black Hand reawakened by the power of the black ring. He started his reign, in your town of Haven and has already started taking over, using dead bodies as his minions to do what he wants. You have recuited as a last minute helper for the corps but several of the members have already become his minion due to battle. They have allowed you to choose one of these 3 corps:
  • Green Lantern Corps
  • Blue Lantern Corps
  • Star Sapphires

You must make this decision soon.You must combine your technology along with your newfound power and save the world.

Well that's some lore about Blackest Night and let me get in depth about the combat and weapons. So the reanimated lanterns that are really important are :
  • Atrocitus
  • Sinestro
  • Larfleeze
  • Hal Jordan and his peoples.

These people do NOT have the technological mixture with the constructs and so they re like before, except their constructs are black and they are dead. Many other lanterns are also consumed by the "blackness" of the evil corps. People also are consumed by it, so yeah, you can't kill all, and mix between them, alternate.Now to explain your weapon:

  • Green Lanterns will have power gloves like ones you see in sci-fi movies which can decode and hack technology.
  • Blue Lanterns will have a staff with a shock only they can withstand, which can split into two.
  • Star Sapphires will have some laser guns. One per person. It has a stun setting and kill setting.
Also I'm not going to be sexist so, men can join star sapphires, I'll allow it.

You will have to say them when you recharge your ring.

Green Lanterns are alive only because of the Guardians, One of them has escaped Black Hand's evil grasp and has sustained the corps. The Indigo Lanterns will join but for now they are silent for some odd reason....

You will travel to Oa and also Haven. and here are the towns:

Each town is rural, while each city is urban.
Explore Oa and associate your self! (You will be there at least once.) And also, your corps chooses your personality and its like this:

Steven Ellis

AGE: 18 GENDER: MALE​

Appearance: Steven is a normal sized person. He has a very good physical appearance, freckles around his cheeks and nose, and some glasses along with it. He has chestnut-colored hair with a lightly tanned skin. He has a okay-shaped nose, a nice grin and slender bodyparts. So in general, hes normal. He is 6'0.

Attire: With his ring powered off, he wears a long-sleeved shirt with jeans and red Nikes and he has his glasses and has pretty normal clothing. With his ring powered on, he has a suit like everyone else, and a mask like Green Lantern and has the blue lantern symbol on his chest and has a normal lantern appearance. His suit was mixture of blue and black. His eyesight is much better as lantern.
History: Steven was living life in Haven, normally. But his life never really was the same after one night. He was sleeping normally and he saw a flash of light in his dream. The he saw Saint Walker walking beside him. He thought nothing was bad, it was just a dream. But Saint Walker gave him a ring and Steven had woken up with the blue lantern ring on his finger. And that started the Steven's journey.

RP Sample: Steven had walked through some place. It was a bit blinding but he could take it. He saw some sort of ailen. He talked to him in a formal but rusty tone. "Steven Ellis, you must help us with the protection of the universe. Black Hand, the most vicious villain, has started using corpses as a form of enslavement. And you have been recruited with others to fight. Use your technology. I provide you with a shock staff." Steven woke up in a cold sweat. He looked at his finger and saw a ring colored blue on his finger.

Name: Sasha Conners ("Connie" to her friends)

Age: 23

Appearance:

Sasha stands shorter than average at a mere 5' 1", and is kind of scrawny. With her big eyes, small nose, and large mouth, she looks very cute, despite her best attempts. She has brown hair to her shoulders (which she usually wears straight and loose), brown eyes, and pale skin (though she blushes easily).

In her Lantern costume, her eyes turn pure white, while her hair turns green.

Attire: In her civilian attire, Sasha dresses in casual t-shirts and skirts, since she doesn't like pants. She'll tolerate shorts, because of the pockets and for modesty, but prefers them worn under skirts. Her favorite color is black, but she likes to add a little pink or light purple for color.

With the ring, she gains a green leotard adorned with the Green Lantern logo. White boots, black kneesocks, and white gloves leave her thighs and arms bare, with the ring itself on her right middle finger. Finally, a green domino mask conceals her eyes, while a green bandana covers her lower face, and her hair is pulled into a ponytail with a green hair tie.

History: Sasha had an ordinary childhood: reading books in her room, staying quiet when her parents argued, and staying on Daddy's good side so he didn't hit her. ...okay, it wasn't ordinary. But she resolved to stay positive, hoping that things would get better. They did, in a roundabout way, but got worse as well. When she was 12, a speeding car hit their vehicle while she was in the passenger seat, severely injuring her legs. She was able to keep them, but they never fully healed inside, making walking difficult. Her parents rallied around her, helping her live with her handicap.

As she grew older, she stopped needing a wheelchair, and can walk with help from crutches, or just a cane on a good day. While confined to the chair, she couldn't engage in physical activity, but she had her books, and found that she enjoyed drawing. She currently attends art school, is on her way to becoming an illustrator, and would like to try being a writer.

Her aspirations were put on hold as she was made the offer of a lifetime. Representatives of the Lantern Corps came to Haven, and Sasha was the closest candidate one Lantern found that met all the requirements. She was creative, had a strong sense of morality, and had the determination and will to come back from a life-shattering hardship with her spirit and humor intact. Her injuries were a point against her, but the alien was feeling charitable and desperate. He approached Sasha in the night, offering her the ring and the opportunity to do some good.

RP Sample: Sasha trudged back to her room, the soft thump of her cane the only sound in the dark hallway. She made a mental note not to attend any more college parties, especially not if her friends were going to just up and leave her. Her apartment was just too far to walk, even for someone with healthy legs. Upon entering her apartment, the first thing she noticed was that the window was open. The second thing she noticed was the strange man with a squid for a face standing in her living room. She froze in place, her mind struggling to catch up. "Suddenly I regret reading so much Lovecraft as a child."

The squid spoke, his voice surprisingly clear and deep. "Sasha Conners, know that I mean you no harm. Know that I am here seeking your help. Know that the villain known as Black Hand has begun raising the dead as his minions. Know that you possess the qualities and capabilities to make a difference in our fight. Know that you have been chosen. Do you accept?"

He opened his hand, and a ring floated gently through the air and toward Sasha. She reached for it in a daze. His words had carried with them images, ideas, and memories, and she knew exactly what he was referring to. She took a calming breath as she slid the ring over her finger, hearing it call to her. The ring flashed with verdant energy, adorning Sasha in the outfit of the Green Lantern Corps. "Yes." She said, hovering in midair. "I accept the offer."

Also on an entirely different note, you all will start in Haven combating some black lanterns, when you hear a distress call from your ring, and you notice it is Hal Jordan in his final breaths, then you also hear screaming, which will lead you to Oa.

That's just the very first, where everyone meets each other and faces first, Agent Orange.

Oh and also if you want to talk to a lantern that is real, and isn't a roleplay charater, you can bunny.
