Combined Pokemon Solo Challenge Thread

Hey guys, Myrrh here!

School's out for the summer, so I'm going to have time to update this list now. However, there's almost 1000 posts since last update, so its going to take some time. But, I'll go as fast as I can, and sometime soon it will be updated!

I am going to use Dratini instead of Wooper, Okay.
Okay starting with FireRed Dratini Solo-Run.

Rule for myself: no wild Pokemon battles, only trainers. I will fight every single trainer in the game.

I can still catch HM slaves. I will list what HMs each pokemon will know but, of course, they will not know them until I get them. Here are my planned HM slaves:
Spearow HM SLAVE for FLY
Oddish HM SLAVE for FLASH and CUT
Tentacool HM SLAVE for WATERFALL
Mankey HM SLAVE for STRENGTH and ROCK SMASH.

-Picked Charmander.
-Did the whole parcel thing.
-Traded a Dratini Egg with the Egg Moves, Dragonbreath and Dragon Dance, and the normal moves, Wrap and Leer. I then hatched it.
-Beat my rival on Route 22(first time).
-Got through Viridian Forest.
-Beat Brock and his trainer.
Main Pokemon at this point:
Dratini Lv.12
MOVES: Dragonbreath, Dragon Dance, Leer, Thunder Wave
-Got through Route 3.
-Got through Mt. Moon.
-Got through Route 4. Caught Mankey and Spearow.
-Healed at Cerulean and stocked up on Super Potions.
-Beat my Rival, got through Routes 24, and 25, and got the S.S. Ticket. Caught Oddish.
-Beat Misty and her trainers.
Main Pokemon at this point:
Dratini Lv.25
MOVES: Dragonbreath, Dragon Dance, Dragon Rage, Water Pulse
-I went south, got through route 6, beat my Rival and got Cut(on S.S. Anne). Dratini evolved into Dragonair:).
-I then beat Lt. Surge and his trainers.
Main Pokemon at this point:
Dragonair Lv.33
MOVES: Dragonbreath, Shock Wave, Slam, Water Pulse
-I got Flash, and got through Rock Tunnel.
-Got to Lavender Town and got through Route 8, the Underground Path, and Route 7.
-In Celadon, I played the slot machines for 6 hours straight and got Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, and Iron Tail.
-Taught all those to Dragonair, and got Fly west of Celadon(Taught to Spearow).
-Got through Team Rockets Base in Celadon Game Corner.
-Beat Erika and her trainers.
Dragonair Lv.45
MOVES: Iron Tail, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, Ice Beam
-I did the Lavender Tower stuff, and woke and ran away from(they still disappear).
-Beat every trainer on Route 16, 17, 18 on the west side of Celadon, and 12, 13, 14, 15 on the south side of Lavender(to keep my rule of beating every single trainer).
-I then beat Koga and his trainers.
Main Pokemon at this point:
Dragonite Lv.57
MOVES: Surf, Thunderbolt, Aerial Ace, Ice Beam
-I flew to Saffron City and did the whole Silph Co. thing.
-I beat the trainers in the dojo, and beat Sabrina and her trainers.

MOVES: Surf, Thunderbolt, Aerial Ace, Ice Beam
-I flew to Pallet Town, surfed south, and got to Cinnibar.
-I surfed east to Seafoam Islands and surfed east of that to make sure I beat every trainer.
-I flew back to Cinninbar and got the key from the Mansion. I then beat Blaine and his trainers.

MOVES: Surf, Thunderbolt, Aerial Ace, Ice Beam
-I beat all the trainers on the first 3 isles.
-I got back to Kanto and flew to Viridian City.
-I beat Giovanni and his trainers.

-Went west to Route 22, beat my Rival.
-Got through Victory Road, and healed.
-Beat Lorelei.
-Beat Bruno.

-Beat Champion Gary.

ive only done one solo so far and that was with a super awesome heracross in soul silver. im really looking forward to having another solo (and level 100) pokemon under my belt. but i think this one will be A LOT harder.

i chose mudkip as my starter to use as a slave and did the usual stuff at the beginning.
at first chance i caught a wurmple and luckily it evolved into a silicon.
the first gym was awful i tried it first when beautifly was lvl18 and was slaughtered in one hit from geodudes rock fall. after grinding up to lvl23 i tried again only to fall to nosepass. but as they say third time lucky and lucky i was, after breezing past geodude and ready for a struggle with nosepass but its attacks missed two times in a row and a couple of critical hits later i had one my first gym badge.

Okay time for Crystal with my Dratini Solo-Run.

-I did the whole Mr. Pokemon.
-Caught Pidgey on Route 29, and got threough Routes 30, and 31. Caught a Bellsprout on Route 31.
-I did the whole Sprout Tower thing and beat Falkner and his trainers.

-Got and boxed Togepi Egg.
-Got through Route 32, Union Cave, and Route 33. I caught a Goldeen with my Old Rod.
-I did the Slowpoke Well stuff,
-Beat Bugsy and his trainers.

-I beat Silver(Rival), and got through Ilex Forest.
-Got through Route 34, adn beat the trainers on routes 35, 36, and National Park.

-I went through the various Routes, and beat Morty and his trainers.

-Talked to Jasmine in the Lighthouse.
-Got through Routes 40 and 41.

-Flew back to Olivine, and gave Jasmine the SECRETPOTION.

-I flew to Ecruteak, and went west and got through Route 42.
-Got to Mahogany Town and did the Lake of Rage/Rocket Hideout thing.

-I beat the whole Radio Tower thing.

In recent news the only progress I've made in my challenge is updating my sig to have it in. I'm gonna spend some solid time today playing, though, hopefully I'll make some good progress.

It's really easy with a Pokemon with above average HP, Special Attack, and Speed, and REALLY high Attack. I beat Red in about 6 minutes, the only thing holding me back was Snorlax's and Lapras' high HP.

For my news, I may do Emerald later, if I feel like it.

Joining this challenge. Did a duo-person challenge a couple years ago, would like to try a solo challenge.
Going to do this challenge with: Houndour (Houndoom - will evolve.)

CHALLENGE COMPLETED
I completed the elite 4 with a level 74 Houndoom solo. It was rather difficult. I forgot that the elite 4 had 2 trainers with water Pokemon - including the most powerful - Wallace. Some how I managed to do it though - I thought I would have to at least get maxed first! In total the elite 4 took ~30 max potions and 2 full restores.

Ooh, I've been waiting for this, the OP hasn't even updated to list my Weedle Solo yet. If u want I can help with it, i had surgery yesterday so ill be on the couch with my computer a lot. Also I had a funny thought today: The OP doesnt say anything about no legendaries. Are legendary solos allowed?

Episode 8

• Phew, I don't know what I did exactly, but I do know I went to the Lighthouse. Jasmine didn't want to battle yet, so I went to Cianwood first.
• I hate surfing, but I managed to get to Cianwood without too much of a hassle.
• Chuck went down easily with Confusion.
• Directly after that I flew back to Olivine to defeat Jasmine.

Got lucky on Bugsy and easily swept through Whitney. Got held up on Morty because of Curse ripping out a vicious 1/4 of my hp each turn and being forced to use the 1/2 power Razor Leaf on all of his pokemon. Currently going through and whoopin' on all of the trainers along the road to try and beef up My now-fully-evolved Meganium

Super Swablu Solo #3
I headed back to Petalburg City and challenged my Dad. After another challenging battle, I managed to beat Norman and I got the Balance Badge. I then headed back to Mauville City and surfed east. I then travelled north until I reached the Weather Institute. Team Magma was there and I quickly got rid of them.

On my way to Fortree City, I encountered Brandon and swept his team. He gave my HM02 and left. I then got the Devon Scope and challenged Winona. With the super-effectiveness from Ice Beam, I managed to defeat her, winning the badge.

I was gonna be productive and do my homework today, but we went to my grandma's house for what I thought would be a quick visit, and ended up staying until 8:30, and just got home around 10 minutes ago, so I made some pretty solid progress.
I beat Morty, but I got pretty lucky. I was I think around level 40. Which is pretty sad that I had to get lucky to beat him but anyways screw curse. Blazed through Chuck without a problem, Jasmine cut it pretty close with her steelix because I was parafused, but I pulled through in the end. The rockets didn't really present me with any challenge, and Pryce was easy because Razor Leaf was 2x on all of his pokemon. Clair was a pretty solid competitor, but no really close shaves.
I updated Meganium's set before the E4, which were pretty easy, but Lance tripped me up on my first go through with his level 50 Dragonite's Fire Blast. I was worried about PP the second run through because I had used 2 of my 3 Ethers and my Max Elixer, but I made it through with two Mystery berries and my last Ether. None of the other E4 really presented a challenge, but I got very lucky a LOT of the time, never getting hit by confusion and getting some very crucial body slam Paralyzes.

I'm doing a solo run of SoulSilver with Feraligatr. Just got the game today, though.

Super Swablu Solo #4 (Final)
I continued on with my epic journey until I reached Lilycove City. When I got there, I battled my rival, Brandon, for the last time before heading down to Mt. Pyre and battling Team Magma. I then headed to Slateport City only for Team Magma to escape once again. After that episode, I went back to Lilycove City and went inside Team Magma's hideout. Inside I defeated all the grunts and got the Master Ball.

After that I surfed to Mosdeep City and got Dive from Steven. I then went to the gym and beat Tate and Liza and got the badge. After that I dropped into Pacifidlog Town before heading to the Seafloor Cavern, where I defeated Maxie for the last time.

Groudon woke up and I surfed and dived to Sootopolis City where I saved Hoenn by removing Groudon. I then beat Wallace, earning me the last badge. After that I went to and through Victory Road, defeating Wally at the end of it. I then made preparations to battle the Pokémon League.

Sidney was very easy to beat, I swept his whole team after his Sharpedo used Swagger, boosting Swablu's attack. Pheobe was annoying because her Pokémon were immune to Return. Glacia was easier than expected. Steel Wing actually did decent damage. Drake was the easiest of them all. Ice Beam OHKOed all his Pokémon. Steven was obviously the toughest. I ended up using some of the X items to boost Swablu's stats. It allowed me to win, completing my Pokémon Ruby Swablu Solo Challenge.
