Ultimate Monotype Challenge

I found pokemon Blue so ill restart my water monotype challenge in it.

if this is still active then i would like to do a psychic mono challenge, and i will start from pokemon blue but tomorrow as its late at night right now

As i haven't been posting updates in a while, here is an update on my flying monotype challenge so far on emerald:

-Started out with torchic and beat rival
-received poke balls and captured wingull and grinded
-traveled west towards petalburg and petalburg woods
-caught tailow and grinded
-faced three defeats by the rock type pokemon leader Roxanne, then finally won (wingull:20, tailow:18)
-saved Peeko the wingull
-traveled to Dewford and caught two new members, zubat and magikarp
-delivered letter, traveled back to Rustburo to get Exp. Share
-annihilated Brawly with my amazing flying types
-beat Team Aqua at Slateport
-made it to Mauville
-deposited Swellow and Pelliper into daycare while grinding zubat into a crobat
-finally evolved zubat into golbat then crobat, retrieved Swellow (grew 10 levels) and Pelliper (grew 9 levels)
-got defeated by Watson
-second times a charm, defeated Watson
-traveled north to Fallabar, caught Skarmory on the way
-traveled to Route 114 and caught Swablu
-got rid of team member Skimmer the Pelliper
-defeated Team Magma on top of Mt. Chimney
-currently grinding new members of my team

Ultimate Bug Monotype Challenge: Crystal

First update:

-Named myself MasChif and chose Totodile as my partner
-Got Mystery Egg and beat rival ???
-Named Rival Prophet (short for Prophet of truth from Halo 3) and gave the Mystery Egg to Prof. Elm
-Catched and evolved once Caterpie and Weedle
-Arrived to Violet City and evolved Metapod and Kakuna
-Beat Falkner and gained the ZephyreBadge
-Climbed Sprout Tower and defeated the Sage and gained HM 5 Flash
-Went to Ruins of Alph and did an event with Escape Rope and gained 4 items
-Passed through Union Cave and arrived to Azalea Town
-Defeated Team Rocket and Bugsy and gained my second badge


Now I'm headbutting trees searching for a Pineco and a Heracross, I think it will take like 1 hour....

Ive made it to the e4 in pokemon blue.

Second Update:

Note: ...Well I thought I had a chance of finding a heracross in max an hour but damn! he took me to find him like 1 day....
(Now the real update)

-After a "little" time searching for a heracross I trained my new Pineco with the trees
-Arrived to GoldenRod City dodging the trainers of the last route (because I wanted to defeat them when I catch a Scyther and train heracross)
-Participated on the Bug Catching Contest and catched a Scyther. Ended on second place...
-Trained Scyther and Heracross with Ilex Forest's trees
-Defeated the remaining trainers from Route 34
-Defeated Whitney and gained the PlainBadge
-Defeated Sudowoodo and Kimono Girls
-Defeated Rival "Prophet" and awaken the three legendary dogs
-Defeated Morty....

And saved here..........

I go for ground type.
I will start with red than crystal than ruby ( maybe sapphire) than platinum.

On the first post it says I'm in sinnoh, but I'm only in Hoenn yet :)

-Reached Olivine City and obtained HM4 Strength and Good Rod
-Climbed all the Lighthouse and met up with Jasmine the City's Gym Leader
-Surfed my way to Cianwood and obtained the Secretpotion
-Encountered but not battled Suicune up at Cianwood and battled Eusine
-Defeated Gym Leader Chuck and his minions-
-Obtained HM2 Fly
-Delivered the Secretpotion to Jasmine and battled her, it took me like 5 tries but heracross's Counter saved us
-Battled 3 Girls near GoldenRod City that use only Water pokemon and gained the Soft Sand
-Went to Mahogany Town and buyed stuff
-Went to a route whose number I don't remember and to the Lake Of Rage and defeated the Red Gyarados

BTW, I nicknamed all my bug team (escept Totodile) and put them names of Halo...

- I bought some pokéballs and caught a Nidoran ( male )
- I putted Bulbasaur in the box
- I trained Nidoran to lvl.10
- I defeated my rival ( with his Pidgey lvl.9 and a Charmander lvl.8 )
- I went trough viridian forest and defeated some bug catchers
- I trained Nidoran until he was lvl 16
- Nidoran evolved into a Nidorino
- I defeated the Pewter Gymleader Brock ( with his Geodude lvl.12 and his onix lvl.14 )
- Brock gave me TM 34 ( Bide )

trained all 3 pokemon to lvl 21 and took on misty
trained the a bi more then wen onto ss anne and beat rival

-Defeated the Rockets on Mahogany Town and defeated Price, the Town's Gym Leader
-Flied to GoldenRod and defeated the Rockets on the Radio Tower and in the Basement, and battled Rival "Prophet"
-Went through the Ice Cave and reached Blackthorn City
-Trained in the route below Blackthorn City until level 38
-Defeated Clair and went to the Dragon's Den to answer a questionnaireto earn Blackthorn City's Gym Badge
-Flied to New Bark Town and received the Master Ball
-Passed through the Tohjo Falls and Routes 27, 26, 22, and 23 to reach the Victory Road
-Trained my party to level 44 and entered the Elite Four
-Defeated everyone in one try except Lance but heracross saved us with the Counter Reversal Combo...
-Got on the S.S. Anne and obtained the Metal Coat (But I don´t have a Link Cable to evolve him...)

- Defeated the supernerd
- I have taken the dome fossil
- Found the exit of the Mt.Moon
- Went to cerulean
- Entered the Gym and defeated the trainers
- I fought Misty and... lost :`(
- I trained a bit in the grass
- I fought Misty and... lost again :`(
- I decided to do the nugget bridge first
- Defeated my rival at the beginning of the bridge
- Defeated the 5 trainers at the nugget bridge
- Defeated the rocket and gained a nugget
- defeated al the trainers at route 25
- Geodude Evolved into a graveler at lvl.25
- I helped Bill with his problem
- I went back to the Gym and battled Misty and... OMG I LOST AGAIN!!
- I was so mad that I challenged her again and... I WON!!!! ( with some luck )
- She gave me TM 11 ( bubblebeam ) and the badge
