Rock Paper Scissor Challenge

[FONT=&quot]1. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Only three Pokémon can be on your team; your challenge Pokémon, and two HM slaves.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]2. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Every time you enter an area that has a Pokémon with a type-advantage over your Pokémon, you have to switch Pokémon. Box your old one, and keep the new one. If one of their types beats one of your types, you have to switch. Example: Squirtle(Water), Pikachu(Electric), Geodude(Ground/Rock), Mankey (Fighting), Pidgey(Flying/Normal) and so forth. [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]3. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]If a Pokémon with a type-advantage over you does live in a new area, you MUST find it.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]4. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]If a Pokémon that can be switched lives in an area you just switched in, (Ex. Mankey, switch Pidgey, switch Bellsprout in one area) you may choose whether or not you want to switch again.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]5. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]If two or more Pokémon live in a new area that has the type-advantage over you, you may choose which one to switch with.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]6. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]You only have to switch Pokémon when entering a new area. Re-entering old areas will not force you to switch.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]7. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]You are not forced to switch Pokémon if a Pokémon exists in water you don't have to swim through, or you have to use a rod, or head butt, or rock smash etc. to get.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]10. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]You are not forced to switch if the Pokémon with the type-advantage has no attack moves (Abra, Metapod, etc.)[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]You are not allowed to use any HM slaves. You must visit and Switch in optional areas. If you re-enter an area, and that area has a Pokémon that can be switched, you must switch. For participating in the Ultimate challenge, if Pokémon types disallow you to continue (Can't get a surfing Pokémon to the water to move on because it's weakness lives right before the water) you may use an HM slave for that one instance.[/FONT]

Quick Question: Rule 15 says that you have the option of switching with someone in your box. What's preventing someone from switching back and forth between 3 of those? For example, Squirtle > Pikachu > Geodude > Squirtle > Pikachu > etc.

Another question: If we're playing Sapphire, and we switch to a Sableye, because he has no type weaknesses, does that mean we don't have to switch for the rest of the game?

Sableye has no weaknesses, but if you run into someone who has a type (one of their two types) beat one of his two types (Dark or ghost) than you switch. So if they have a Fighting, Bug, Ghost, or Dark type, you switch.

Also, I knew I forgot something about that rule (15). You can only switch with a Pokemon in your box two times a game.

So is the Sableye rule just for those with no weaknesses? Or if I have a Charizard and run across an Ice Type, do I have to switch out because Flying is weak to Ice?

Exactly. Charizard switches with Ice, Metagross switches with Bug, Froslass switches with Fighting. Or... does that sound too hectic? Would it be funner if it wasn't like that?

That would certainly make the challenge a lot harder. Its up to you, man.
